To our plesent surprise, the cupcakes are over 3" in diameter, they are perfect size for your guests, especially if a couple whants to split different flvors.
Unfortunatly the Alcott closed during covid, so I called Amamda to inform her we still wanted to use them and to get a price. We were very happy which the pricing and that they would bring everything to our new location and set it up on our wedding day.
We eneded up changing the dates and locations multipul times until finally we were able to book a place this past June. Amanda was very understanding and accommodating through the entire process. The cupcakes were very fresh and remained fresh for a few days when we ate them for breakfast since we didn't eat any on our wedding night.

We practically licked the containers clean they were SO GOOD.
I knew I didn't want a cake for our rehearsal dinner and figured I'd reach out to The Bake Works again since the samples were so good. We opted for apple cider donuts and pumpkin/cream cheese cupcakes. When I tell you multiple people came up to me and my husband telling us that the cupcakes were the best they've ever had I promise you I'm not lying. I can vouch- they were the best cupcake I've ever had. And the cider donuts- JUST AS PHENOMENAL.
Of course we ordered our wedding cake from them as well. Also PHENOMENAL- again, tons of compliments on how delicious it was. We had funfetti with raspberry cream filling and oh my goodness- SO good.

We just emailed them the flavor and design we wanted and added our own cake topper and faux flowers/greenery. We chose the almond cake with vanilla pastry cream. get the full experience. According to the mothers, the labels for the icings were also misleading; I was not there so I'm not sure on that. HOWEVER, the cake on the wedding day was light and fluffy and delicious! We went very simple, design wise, with both chocolate and vanilla cake and it was delicious! Based on my experience with Amanda and how the cake turned out on my wedding day, they are a solid option.

They absolutely exceeded all of our expectations of what a wedding cake could be. We opted for the "spice cake" flavor — an upgrade that was well worth it. We had a number of dessert options for our guests, but all anyone could rave about was the cake. As for the design, they followed our instructions to a T. It was elegant and absolutely delicious. Basic chocolate and vanilla but there was nothing basic about them they tasted great! We ordered extra dessert trays, a cookie tray, and the best decision I made ever the DONUT WALL. Everyone said the cake was so good and I unfortunately never got a piece of it! I used the donut wall as part of our favors and they were a huge hit.
