The Baker's Box

o Hurricane Helene, we had to reschedule our wedding. We were thankful that Baker’s Box agreed to accommodate our new date. We voluntarily offered to pay our remaining balance 9 months early, due to the impacts Baker’s Box expressed to us, and we were glad to help. Two weeks before our new wedding date, we reached out to Baker’s Box to confirm our order and logistics, as many months had passed since the hurricane and there had been no communications from Baker’s Box during that time. Please see attached for the owner’s response to my email inquiry. To be frank (as illustrated in the attached email), the email was very condescending, insulting, and most unprofessional. The email speaks for itself. After the wedding, I learned from reception venue staff and family/ friends that the Baker’s Box owner was very rude and disrespectful to them while she delivered the desserts. Furthermore, she changed the room set up without our consent and then elevated our wedding cake to a height on a wooden crate that we could not reach (and was totally unnecessary). Still, the owner of Baker’s Box proceeded to do all of this on her own whim. In conclusion, we will not be supporting Baker’s Box in the future.
