The worker who delivered it also helped me arrange flowers that the florist left to put on the cake, even though it wasn’t her job (normally the florist is supposed to stay and do this themselves). Prices were reasonable as well compared to others in the area. Highly recommend!

From the start, we wanted cakes that were traditional, and most importantly, we wanted cakes that tasted great and that everyone would love. Well, The Baking Grounds delivered and went above and beyond! For the groom's cake, we used a family heirloom as the topper, and they took wonderful care of it and truly made the cake so special for our family. We look forward to returning to The Baking Grounds and their wonderful family-oriented business for more of our cake needs in the near future - and even to grab a yummy, homemade breakfast!

The staff in the store is always helpful and kind. Everything they make is top notch. The wedding cake was simple and beautiful. The dessert table, with dipped cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, petit fours, etc., was the talk of the wedding - especially the cake pops. We are so happy that we chose the Baking Grounds. However, our wedding colors were Emerald, Black, and Gold. I told the owner to have the main flowers Emerald, and have the mini flowers black, with a hint of Gold. We received blush flowers and white mini flowers instead, which didn't go with our color schemes at all. Overall, our guests thought the cake was delicious!

They knocked both out of the park and I continue to receive compliments on how amazing the detail was on the grooms cake (my husband is a police officer and I incorporated his badge into the cake - it looked identical!). The flavor, icing, and filling variety offered by The Baking Grounds in unparalleled. I cannot recommend their services enough!

ELICIOUS. Malinda sat down with us and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for. She was up front about pricing and different options for how to save. They are very reasonably priced and so so good. The cake turned out beautifully. It was absolutely one of my favorite details about the wedding. I got so many compliments. It was everything I had asked for. They also did a grooms cake for me that was perfect! It was an odd request (a turkey), but they did it better than I could ever imagine. It was a hit with my husband both in looks and in taste! I would absolutely hire them again. In fact, I am using them now for birthday cakes, shower cakes for friends, etc. They are phenomenal!

ted it to be. The cake surprisingly was the hardest part for me and my now husband to figure out. After talking to my florist, they recommended The Baking Grounds! Looked online and their cakes were Amazing!!!!! Went in and was able to try the different flavors, the woman that helped us gave her advice on the best filling for each specific cake, and even had a couple options for the top layer that she knew would last a while and still be fresh come the one-year anniversary. My guests raved about the cake and kept asking me where I had gotten it. It was sweet but not too sweet and you didn’t feel like 1,000 pounds after having a slice! I still go back to The Baking Grounds for birthday cakes and pastries! I went from dreading my wedding cake to absolutely loving it! I had a fragile cake topper and was able to leave it in their possession without any worry.

Malinda had to rely on pictures and relayed information. Despite that, the cake was perfect, exactly what my daughter wanted, and best of all, it tasted as wonderful as it looked! I highly recommend the Baking Grounds- they will exceed your expectations!

sted like heaven! I was worried about cost and she recommended that we do a Styrofoam cake and then cut the slices from sheet cake. It was the best decision--saved a bunch of money and the Styrofoam cake was iced and had our flowers on top and no one even knew (even the groom--he kept trying to cut through the Styrofoam, lol). Overall super easy, delicious and reliable!
