About this vendor
The Bank is a historic landmark and boutique wedding location in East Aurora, NY. Built in 1923, its imposing facade has been a prominent feature of East Aurora's charming downtown for a century. Once a symbol of all that was proper, this heritage building has been treated to a gorgeous restoration that turns straight-laced tradition on its head. While remaining respectful to the original structure, The Bank has put on its party clothes, promising guests a good time that will transport them back to the Roaring Twenties!
FACILITIES AND CAPACITY
Stepping through the doors of The Bank is like stepping back to a time of old New York glamour, with all the modern conveniences. 3,000 square feet of light-filled space welcomes guests for a night of dining and dancing. High ceilings, tall graceful windows, gleaming hardwood floors, original skylight, and designer chandeliers add a touch of class. The back lobby's Art Deco bar invites guests to celebrate in Gatsby-esque style. Couples will appreciate the unique bank-related touches throughout, such as the massive vault, real penny tiles on vault floors, and a bullet-riddled door. A vintage brass bank directory has been retrofitted to display slide shows, real-time photo booth images, or whatever a couple desires.
A dazzling venue for a wedding celebration, The Bank also offers amenities carefully designed to give guests a flawless experience. These include a professional caterer's kitchen, coat room, well-appointed restrooms, wheelchair accessibility and ADA compliant restroom. Tables and chairs are of course included. The elegant bridal suite provides a quiet, stress-free refuge for the bride. It's the perfect backdrop for 'getting ready' photos.
ACCOMODATION
Couples can rent the entire property for a blow-out celebration. The rooms Beneath The Bank have been reimagined as a Prohibition-era hideout for those infamous bank robbers whose names we still know today, like Bonnie and Clyde. Each room is named for a famous outlaw and has its own unique personality and design, plus the latest comforts and technology. There's also a cozy speakeasy-style common area with vintage furniture and custom shuffleboard table. East Aurora's vibrant downtown and nightlife can be enjoyed just by walking out the door.

The Bank was the absolutely perfect venue for our day and I’m so grateful for the experience that Todd Stine and his team provide. We got married on October 4th, 2024, after booking the venue in November 2022. Todd was exceptionally communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process, answering any questions I had very quickly and clearly outlining everything. We rented spent out entire wedding day at the Bank: I got ready with my bridesmaids onsite, we got married in the courtyard, we hosted cocktail hour and the reception in the venue, and our bridal party stayed overnight Beneath the Bank. I was really looking for a venue that was beautiful and unique (the Bank is gorgeous) but also that allowed me to do everything onsite. This was super important to me because every wedding I had been to in the past several years that required an additional transportation vendor had issues. Once we were almost left overnight in a barn, another time we were told the shuttle would be making multiple trips but it never came back for us so we were late to the wedding (and my now husband was a groomsmen for that one!), and another time a group of us were ushered into the bride and groom’s smaller transportation by the company so they didn’t have any special exit. Additionally, transportation is an additional cost (we were quoted almost $5000 for school busses when we were considering a different venue). We looked at several venues before deciding on the Bank but ultimately the ability to stay in one location from getting ready to after party was just so incredibly enticing for us and ended up being the best decision we could make. In addition to that, the Bank had some wonderful features that set it apart from other one-stop-shop venues such as the customized lighting scheme (literally changed the whole vibe of the venue and was SUPER cool), the vintage car for photos (literally most of our wedding photos featured it- again SUPER cool), the secret vault surprise entrance option (I lived for the drama), the two way gates to the courtyard (again I live for the drama), the original bank safety deposit box (didn’t have to waste money on useless card boxes to get resold later- and it was very secure), and the bank directory screen which saved us on a lot of signage by allowing us to display everything from our seating chart to photos. Beneath the Bank had a wonderful space for us to congregate after the reception while people waited for their rides. The rooms are all beautiful and the amenities are lovely. The Bank lists these features on their website, but what they don’t fully capture on the site is how fully committed Todd and his staff are to making your day perfect. Todd was there to ensure that the venue temperature was comfortable, that everything from chairs to vendors were set up correctly, and literally helped us move boxes to our cars. He even helped my dad load in everything the day before (I couldn’t believe how kind that way). Overall the PERFECT venue for the absolute best day of my life, I can’t recommend the Bank enough.
Choosing to have our wedding at The Bank was the easiest and best wedding choice we made. The space is unique and gorgeous. Working with Todd was so great. He is very helpful and responsive and easy to work with.
The Bank was the perfect venue for our wedding. If you want a unique venue and a place to stay for the whole weekend this is your place. There is a courtyard in the back for a great outdoor ceremony. Having a venue where you can get ready and have everything there you need is great. Todd was very helpful with booking and planning the whole wedding. Day of Todd and the staff were great help. Couldn't have asked for a better day!
I cannot say enough great things about this venue! If you're looking for a wedding venue that's elegant but unique and fun, book The Bank. We enjoyed being able to choose our caterers and make the wedding very much our own, while having the support of a professional venue and staff. The space is beautiful on its own with lovely art deco touches that nod to the building's history, but is neutral enough to work with any aesthetic or theme you have in mind.
If you can, definitely try to book the "beneath The Bank" rooms for your event as well. Our family and wedding party was able to stay on site and have a place to relax and get ready for the day, which made the whole weekend even better.
We loved getting married at The Bank! We had both our ceremony and reception at this venue and it was a magical day. Todd, the owner, is a wonderful person to work with, and took great care of us from our first visit to even after everything was said and done. The interior is stunning and the courtyard where our ceremony was is beautiful. Our guests could not stop raving about it! 10/10 recommend The Bank!
Amazingly unique venue run exceptionally well with every last detail accounted for! Our venue closed a few months before our wedding and so we started the search for a new one hoping someone would have our day open. Our wedding planner referred us to The Bank, and after checking it out in person we never looked back. The Bank is a very unique building with a ton of care and attention to detail put into it. Todd has truly thought of everything with this venue. Not only is the venue itself astounding, but the Airbnb underneath is pure perfection. We rented out the Airbnb to stay the night of the wedding and couldn’t have been happier. The Bank has tons of places for outstanding photos and is truly a venue like no other. Todd has put a lot of effort into making it extraordinary and is very attentive and communicative to make sure that everything you need for your big day is taken care of. If you’re looking for an unparalleled venue run by someone who actually cares about you and your big day, look no further.
We cannot say enough how great our experience was working with Todd and having our wedding reception at The Bank! We choose the venue when it was in the beginning stages of being renovated, Todd had explained to us his vision and we were sold! This venue is absolutely beautiful and so unique, Todd has only gone above and beyond what he originally told us about. Every nook and cranny of this place has a story to tell and our guests absolutely loved it!!! We rented the whole venue including "Beneath the Bank" for our whole wedding party to have a place to stay the night which is soooooo nice!! Everyone was able to party as much as they wanted and we didn't have to worry about Ubers or anything!!! (HUGE PERK!) Plus we were able to go about the town and have a good time as well - no open container law in East Aurora was great so we had a late night bar crawl to boot for the guests that weren't ready to go home because everyone was having such a great time!!! The rooms all being based on bank robbers are so great!! My wedding party was super excited about it - we had some guests walking down into the lounge area to take some fun photos as well!!! So we didn't have to rent any "lounge" area furniture like a lot of people are doing these days which is so expensive - it is already set up and a great relaxing area for people to take some great photos!!!! We utilized the stunning courtyard area for a relaxing outdoor area and filled the patio with outdoor games - they were a huge hit!!!! Todd had brought down his gorgeous orange Pierce Arrow for us to use for photos and we got some amazing ones that I will share! He even went and brought his adorable BMW Isetta which was so great for some fun photos!!
I could go on and on and on about this venue and I will to anyone that asks me! The best part was our experience with Todd - I have heard some really scary stories about people planning weddings during the pandemic but Todd is the reason I wasn't the bride pulling my hair out!!!! He was absolutely amazing, and did everything he could to accommodate us and work with us during these crazy times!!!
I for sure recommend this venue!!! Believe me you don't have to look anywhere else this is the best place and the best people to work with!!!!!
