We had an AMAZING experience with The Banquets of Minnesota for our wedding! We had over 200 guests, and everything went so smoothly from start to finish. We loved was how affordable and reasonable everything was for all that was included. The venue handled the food, drinks, tables, chairs, and so much more, which made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free.
The food was absolutely incredible and all of our guests kept talking about how much they loved it. The venue itself was beautiful, super clean, and the ceiling drapery is STUNNING in person. It added so much elegance to the room and we loved that it was already included with the venue.
Leslie was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process. Her communication was great, she was incredibly organized, and she helped coordinate not only with us but with our other vendors as well to make sure everything ran smoothly. She truly helped make our wedding day stress-free. She was there the entire day helping with everything and making sure things stayed on track.
We also really appreciated the flexibility of being allowed to come in the day before to decorate. The staff overall was wonderful and so helpful throughout the whole event.
Also the get ready suites are BEAUTIFUL and the location is right on this lake that overlooks the sunset literally right across the street so we were able to run there for sunset photos!
We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend The Banquets of Minnesota to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with amazing service, great food, and an organized, stress-free wedding day!

We chose the Vivian Ballroom, which was the perfect size for our celebration, intimate yet spacious enough to dance the night away. The venue is reasonably priced, and the value you get in terms of service and amenities is truly impressive.
A special shoutout to Leslie, the event coordinator, who is an absolute GEM. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly organized. Her communication throughout the planning process kept us on track and made everything feel manageable. We felt genuinely supported every step of the way.
We also went with their preferred DJ, Music Mix Entertainment, and they were fantastic—friendly, easy to work with, and kept the energy flowing all night. The in-house catering was another huge plus: the food was delicious and having everything handled under one roof gave us peace of mind.
One of the most convenient touches was using their table décor, it looked beautiful and saved us so much time and stress. Having that option made setup a breeze and helped everything feel cohesive and polished.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines affordability, great service, and a beautiful space, Banquets of MN is it. We’re so grateful for the memories made there!

When creating the event day, they ask all the questions we sometimes forget, an...
d if plans change mid-event, they have a plan to keep things running smoothly and discreetly if needed.
Someone is always there to meet other vendors that we may be coordinating as well. The facilities are always clean and set up as requested. If we need or forget additional items they are always there to help or make suggestions and know how to professionally assist without taking over.
They oversee everything, and we can greet and socialize with our guests knowing that Leslie and her staff control the facility and food, speaking of food the food choices are abundant and all delicious and consistent from year to year.
The location of the facility is easily accessible from main highways and there is a large free parking lot that is suitable for evening events. I will also note that this facility is one level, there are no stairs for those guests that need assistance.
We will continue to use this facility for our annual client event and would recommend them to any business, family or couples looking for a classy all in one event center.

we arrive all of the equipment for my slideshow is working and ready to go. She has provided me with extra tables, dessert serving trays, and racks to hang sports banners on. It is decorated and clean. The food is amazing. Her staff are friendly. y went up and beyond to make sure that our day was very seamless and stress free. The servers were polite. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it. Our favorite dish was the Alfredo pasta!. The DJ was also incredible. They had great taste for music that kept everyone on the dance floor and having fun. Thank you for the wonderful service.!

well throughout the whole process. The night of our event was seamless and our guests loved everything. The food was amazing. The venue is beautiful and in a great location. If I were to do it all again I would 💯 choose Banquets.

he food was top notch and we had many many people comment on the quality. To top it off the price was really reasonable as well! I felt taken care of from the time we got there until the time we left after the ceremony and reception (all done at the venue in the same room). So nice to not have to drive somewhere else. I would choose this venue again for any other special event and some of my friends will be looking at this for anniversaries and other parties as well. What a wonderful venue and they take the headache out of the whole experience. Thank you Leslie and your wonderful staff!!!!!!!!!!

o better on is landscaping. There is no good outdoor picture area. There is two banquet rooms maybe someway to keep the areas separate. There could be a partition wall maybe to keep the 2 areas separate but The bride and groom rooms are across the hall from each other.

I think you are referring to the lobby area, when you reference the "keep areas separate" .. we have drawn a curtain on occasions, when requested to do so, so I apologize that that option must not have been spoken of. This summer was a beast on our landscaping! We do have a number of parks in the area that we suggest clients try to utilize, they each have docks and water ways that form wonderful backdrops for photos. Overall, I truly hope you were happy!! Your families were a lot of fun and we enjoyed celebrating with you.
