, I would like to address Withney's review and provide additional details to clarify the situation. Our rental contract was tailored to you since it was a traditional Haitian wedding. The only items included in the fee were the venue, sound system, and Dj, however, you chose to bring in your own Caribbean DJ. We also required security guards, as they are mandatory to be present during every event, which is stated in the agreement. In addition, our contract clearly states "the property rental is for the use of the facilities as specified and does not include any other services or supplies." "It is the responsibility of the client or a client representative to supervise and oversee all vendor setup, operations, and cleanup." "The Barn 305 is not responsible for any misunderstandings, erroneous vendor setup, missing equipment, lack of supplies, or miscommunication." Withney brought in her own vendors for coordination, DJ, catering, bar, florists, photographers, videographers, glassware rental, and cake. These vendors were not included in the contract and were the responsibility of the client. Regarding the delay in the event timeline, we would like to clarify that it was caused by multiple factors, including a lack of proper coordination services by the planner you hired and having the ceremony at a church offsite. Your cocktail hour was scheduled to be at 6:30pm, however, you and all your guests arrived at the venue 8:25 pm, causing a delay of almost two and a half hours. Furthermore, during Withney's visits to the venue over the past two years, she did not mention any additional items such as charger plates, linens, or decorations until the week of her wedding. We always encourage our clients to communicate any requests or questions in advance, so we can ensure that their needs are met on their special day. However, it is the responsibility of the client to specify any additional items they require and confirm that they are included in the contract. We also attempted to clarify a separate issue regarding the catering, but Withney did not want to speak with the owner of the catering company to clarify the allegations towards the venue. We always strive to provide excellent service and address any concerns or issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. In conclusion, we would like to emphasize that we provided the reception tables and chairs with cushions, the sweetheart table and chairs, as well as the cocktail tables, as an additional courtesy, even though these items were not included in the contract.
