Unprofessional. Literally robbed me of the wedding and only wedding I'll ever have in my life. The owner told me he didn't care if my terminally ill family members got see me walk ...
down the aisle or not. Ignored me for months.
Venue was absolutely beautiful and food was so delicious!! The day went smoothly without hiccup and everything looked beautiful. The staff and owner were accommodating within reaso...
n of requests that I had regarding our ceremony space! Nancy was always quick to respond. I only wish that there were less antiques throughout the venue but once the night was going, I'm not sure I noticed them all that much.
Wish I could give it more stars but I have to be honest. I loved the actual venue. This venue is very beautiful and the food was excellent. But if you have your wedding here, I hig...
hly recommend hiring a wedding coordinator to deal with all staff to avoid inconveniences . We were supposed to be there until 10 pm and the lights and air conditioning were shut off by the staff at 8:30 pm. We were interrupted during our wedding reception to ask about payment. There was a groundskeeper working in the garden in clear view during our ceremony (which was outside). The staff started removing our decoration off the tables before our guests had even left. It was ultimately chaotic. My husband and I were in love with this place so we were very disappointed by how our wedding was handled and how we/our family were treated. So like I said, hire a coordinator and save yourself the headache if you have your wedding here.
My husband and I were married here on October 17, 2020. From the very moment I walked into this venue, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. Nancy, the venue coordinator, ...
was always a text away and always responded to my questions/concerns in a timely manner. Chris, the caterer, made an outstanding meal that all of the guests loved.
Even through this pandemic, they were both willing to work with my husband and I a perfect day while also keeping us and our guests safe.
Great overall!
My husband and I just had our wedding at the Barn and Gazebo last weekend, and it was the greatest experience. We live in California, and there is a 3 hour time difference. No matt...
er what time I texted Nancy about wedding details, she responded to me within minutes, and every time we flew to Ohio, she found time for a meeting with us even if we gave her little warning of our trip. Chris was able to adjust our menu to accommodate our vegan and gluten-free guests, and everyone who came to our reception complimented the food. He also changed the vegan option completely from one dish to another at my request. Our wedding was an Irish-African fusion, and all of the staff at the Barn and Gazebo was supportive and welcoming to our guests. They were flexible and communicated clearly. Both Chris and Nancy stayed until midnight after our wedding reception, and they even put together a little to-go bag of apple cider for our ride back to the Airbnb. They were truly wonderful to work with, and the venue is beautiful. There is nothing we would change, and we highly recommend them.
Nancy and Chris were such a pleasure to work with and the food was delicious! I had wished that there was less country decor hanging and sitting around but I barely noticed it duri...
