I am so upset and disappointed. The last straw was having not just one, but two of my wedding pictures stolen from my photographers website by the owner. I didn’t want her to use my wedding as a promotion of their building. One of the pictures was a very emotionally personal one of my husband, which stung. When I booked well over a year before my wedding, it was with a different owner. This owner had told me he was going to throw in my table clothes for free because he liked my husband so much. We booked at the off season rate for Friday and Saturday. When new ownership took place, I found out through a friend (the new owner did not send out a letter for a few months). I called to check my contract and the new owner complained about the deal I got. She did this more than once over the year’s correspondence I had with her. When speaking to the owner, I had to call multiple times to get the same question answered because she gave a different one to each person I had call (me, my husband, and my insurance adjuster). I called a little over a month before my wedding to see if my parents could view the venue and she told me absolutely and to come and do my pre wedding meeting for table counts and set up. When we arrived it was another couples wedding day. We didn’t know and I felt mortified to be intruding. They were still cleaning the space while the couple was setting up their decor. While I spoke with her, she argued with me about the amount of tables I needed and where to put them. She told me no one would sing my guest book if I put it on a certain wall. She told me to ditch my traditional guestbook and showed me multiple photos of other weddings. She constantly told me not to do what I wanted and to go with what she had seen from other couples. I gave her my guest and table count, and I overestimated to make sure I wouldn’t go without; she confirmed with me and I finally left. The week of my wedding the owner called me and told me she was out of town and her granddaughter was in charge, but gave me no contact information. I confirmed many times during that phone call the time I needed the venue unlocked on Friday and Saturday. We arrived on Friday to a locked venue. I had to call her to have it unlocked. When we got in the building it was filthy. We spent over an hour cleaning including scrubbing feces in and on the toilets. When we finally got to set up, the incorrect number of tables was out and the wrong amount of table clothes had been ordered. I was beside myself, so my maid of honor called the owner and her reply was frustrated. She said there was nothing she could do because she was out of town. We ended up having to piece other things together to make it all work. I had to tape a short table cloth to my sweetheart table to make it look like a long one. Before I left, I texted the owner to lock the doors and confirm for the billionth time my arrival time on Saturday and she confirmed it would be unlocked. The next day one of my bridesmaids was kind enough to arrive early to see if the venue was unlocked and it was not. We called again and she missed the call. She got back to us right before we arrived and laughed it off. I cannot describe to you the anxiety, stress, and lack or worth I felt the entire time I was planning my wedding with this venue after new ownership.

I am so sorry to hear about your experience with our venue. It is disheartening to hear th...
at we failed to meet your expectations on such an important day. I understand that it was difficult for you to find out about the change in ownership and that the transition caused confusion and frustration, which was never our intention. We should have communicated with you in a more timely and efficient manner to ensure a smoother process.
I am also sorry for utilizing your photos for the venue's social media. Your photographer tagged us in your wedding photos, it was a beautiful wedding and we were excited to share your big day! We have since removed the photo. Moving forward we will include consent to our contracts for couples to choose if they would like to share their photos on our social presence.
Regarding the issues you faced with the venue, I can see how our team's actions caused additional stress and anxiety for you on top of an already stressful time. We agree it is unacceptable that the venue was not cleaned to our normal high standards and that there were issues with the number of tables and tablecloths. Additionally, the lack of communication and availability from our staff during your wedding week only added to your stress and for that, we apologize.
Please know that we take all feedback seriously and will be taking steps to ensure that these issues are not repeated in the future and this falls outside of our normal experiences. I would like to invite you to discuss this matter with me to further address any concerns you may have. We strive to provide the best experience possible for our brides and grooms, and I am deeply sorry that we fell short in your case.

This venue is the perfect place to have the wedding of your dreams! We had zero issues the whole time and Mary was very helpful to answer any of my questions and gave me tons of help with the layout of the reception. The bridal suite is just the right size and we had plenty of room throughout the morning. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place that will be yours to design!

Any time I had a question or thought they were right there to answer and help out any way they could! This place is beautiful! I had a full band here and the acoustics were amazing!
