uary 8, 2026. I can't put into words how beautiful and special The Barn is, and how welcoming and fantastic Miss Lisa Rouse and her staff are.
Located in a secluded location, but still only a 30 to 40 minute drive south from Houston, this truly is a dream venue. I loved the freedom it offered us to plan our wedding exactly like we wanted it opposed to getting locked into working with specific vendors. However, Miss Lisa still provided us with a list of curated vendors, many of whom we hired and provided fantastic service we were absolutely happy with.
Miss Lisa was even so kind as to host us one Sunday morning to go over all our wedding plans for our DIY wedding, and advised us on what we were missing when we were one month out from our big day.
Our wedding was so us and everything went so great, but we truly could've not done it without Miss Lisa and the Barn.

Lisa and her husband, were so wonderful to work with. Lisa was extremely easy to get in contact with and answered all the questions we had along the way. They continually go above and beyond for all of their couples.
The photos you see online are stunning, however photos will never do this barn justice. The barn was able to accommodate all 200 of our guests while also allowing for a large dance floor and wheelchair access. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the bricked area with the view of the beautiful trees and the lake in the background. The venue also has the option to have a private dinner in the loft area of the barn. We chose this option and would recommend it to everyone! We enjoyed getting to spend that first dinner as Mr. And Mrs. uninterrupted. I highly recommend this place to any couple still looking for their dream venue!
