The Barn at Cedar Meadows is a gorgeous wedding and event venue in Cedar City, UT. Located on 10 acres of peaceful green farmland with a pond, The Barn is the ideal location for any event. Our goal is to make your event at The Barn at Cedar Meadows as simple and relaxing as possible. Each venue rental includes 12 hour access to the venue and grounds the day of your wedding, tables, chairs, arches, a selection of decorations, and much more. We will even set up and take down those items for you. With separate bride and groom suites (including bathrooms), beautifully landscaped outdoor space, a spacious warming kitchen, ample parking, and large restrooms, The Barn is the perfect location to host your event. Venue Director
My name is Jace Phister, I am the Venue Director for The Barn at Cedar Meadows. I knew I loved the wedding industry when I was in high school. My aunt owned a catering business and I loved to work weddings with her. My career background is in higher education. I have a Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University and a Masters degree from Arkansas State University. I worked as an academic advisor at the university level before entering the wedding industry. In my free time I love being with my family outside. We fell in love with the Cedar City area when we moved here a few years ago. I love going on day trips up the mountain, going on hikes, kayaking, and camping. I am so excited to be a part of your special day at The Barn. I want each group I meet with at The Barn to feel like they matter. I care about each and every one of our clients and want everyone's day to feel so special here.

Hi! I'm one of the newest Venue Coordinators here at The Barn. I am so grateful to be a part of the team here and love knowing that every day I come into work is the best day of someone's life! Fun facts about Kate: - I am also a wedding tress tailor and made almost everything that my husband and I wore at our wedding! - I absolutely love gardening and cooking from my garden! - I attend school here in Cedar City and am studying Costume Design and Ceramics! - One of my favorite things to do is line dancing so I especially love getting to party at my job! - My current favorite song is "Little Spouse" by Taylor Demp I am over the moon to be working here and helping so many wonderful people get to celebrate their special day!

Beautiful venue, a dream come true! It was great for my wedding at a reasonable price. Some of their restrictions were a bit annoying.

The barn is both an amazing and beautiful venue, but the staff almost completely ruin the experience. The event coordinator was extremely rude and disrespectful, as well did more b...

ad then good when came to actually assisting with wedding. Not only that, but they had attempted to steal and likely have stolen from one our guests. They had “confiscated” one of our yeti coolers, then refused to give it back until the end of the night. At the same time one of guests saw the staff near some his belongings and reported that some money was gone from them after the fact. The staff adamantly refused to have touched the guests belongings, and I even threatened to call police when asked to see the camera footage they had! All in we still able to enjoy the venue, but will never return, and will never working anyone associated with the venue ever again.

Hi Jordan. We're really sorry you had a bad experience. The yeti cooler was "confiscated" ...

because it contained alcohol. One of the event coordinators working offered to give the cooler back but to keep the alcohol in the office until the end of the night. Per Utah law you cannot have alcohol on the premise of The Barn without a licensed and insured bartender. This is in the contract and was agreed upon by the client. I'm sorry it was frustrating but we cannot risk losing our ability to have alcohol for the weddings that do hire a bartender. If we violate Utah law by having alcohol without a bartender on premise we even risk our business license. So it is a very serious situation. Our coordinators acted properly by confiscating the cooler of alcohol. Video footage has been verified and I can assure you our staff did not steal anything.
