The Barn at Crescent Lake at Old McMicky's Farm

s venue.

itself is absolutely stunning—the setup, the views, and every detail came together perfectly and made our day feel so special. A huge thank-you to Theresa, our wedding coordinator, and Hector, our day-of coordinator. They both exceeded our expectations and were absolutely amazing. Their organization, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire day run so smoothly, and it let us fully enjoy every moment. We couldn’t be more thankful to the team at The Barn for making our wedding day unforgettable. Highly recommend.

value really comes from the wedding coordinator Theresa and the wedding day coordinator Hector. They are both AMAZING! Very responsive and overall brought amazing energy. They are super organized and provide fantastic vendors. I am so happy that I had my wedding here.

de me feel so calm with everything. They are very helpful, organized and detailed with everything. The venue has everything you need and is beautiful! Being all inclusive makes it so much easier and affordable. It is also great quality as well!

change a thing. The day was flawless. I can’t take any credit, it all goes to Hector and Theresa. We had such an upscale wedding without the upscale wedding cost. I am beinf 100% honest and transparent when I tell u not a single thing was missing or out of place. Everythinf was beautiful and as we had pre planned with Theresa in a meeting. The farm is open in the morning during our wedding and I was hesitant at first but it honestly it made it more beautiful. The little children watching our wedding from the fence with smiles on their face was heartwarming and I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. The staff made sure to be on top of everytime time line and detail. I had no stress from the moment I arrived to when we left. If you are looking for somewhere to get married from a 25 person guest list to a 100+ list this is the place to do it. The packages are so helpful so you can have a dj and bartender and caterer included and not have to spend time researching and calling places. Weddings should be enjoyable and not stressful and the Barn at crescent creates this by giving you a blueprint to follow. the Design night is incredible to pick your colors and designs.

things, they were on top of everything. They were always available for questions via email and responded very timely. They were so friendly and accommodating, I would get married here a million times over! I could not have been happier with our venue selection, as it was within our price range, included the DJ, food, cake, and bartending service within their listed price which makes the planning easy! It’s such a beautiful spot and I could not have had a more perfect wedding day here!

ress-free and beautiful wedding, especially with everything being included in the cost, PLEASE choose the Barn at Crescent Lake in Odessa!!! We chose the diamond package and are so grateful that we did! They made our dreams come true every single step of the way and we will never be able to thank everyone enough! Everything from the location, to linens, decorations, getting ready areas, the food by 4Rivers, the DJ, bartenders from Spunky Spirits, the ceremony and reception set up, was absolutely perfect and our guests loooved seeing all the animals that live at the farm too!! We went through Publix for our cake which we also highly recommend, and even though a photographer was not included in the package we found the insanely talented Dani Monique and Mackenzie from Unscripted Photography and they were so kind and wonderful if you need a photographer still, definitely consider them their talent is unmatched in my opinion and I’ve added some of the photos they took to this review! Working with Theresa and Hector at the venue was life changing; Theresa answered every question and was so attentive, helpful, and insightful we appreciate her so much, and Hector was a complete god send, something dramatic happened a few days before the wedding and he handled everything with so much grace and kindness and he was able to help me calm my nerves (I was physically trembling) right before walking down the aisle to my husband. They made everything was so incredibly smooth and unforgettable even our guests couldn’t stop telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to which meant so much to us. Whatever vision you have in mind or whatever life throws at you during the planning and process of it all, they’ve got you. It felt like we gained new members of the family and we will forever be thankful to the team at the Barn at Crescent Lake for making our dream wedding possible! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for us and will continue to do for other couples in the future🙏🏼🩵

our day of coordinator and he truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. All of our guests loved him. They made our day so beautiful and we are so grateful to have picked this venue for our big day! Thank you all so so so much!!

one call, and without taking any accountability for the role they played. Here's what happened: - We provided respectful feedback about the lack of meaningful LGBTQ+ representation. The venue acknowledged the feedback - but not in a thoughtful or appropriate way. - Instead of engaging with our concerns, we were redirected to their 5-star reviews. - When we asked planning questions and made a request, we were denied - told that the contract didn't allow it. We reviewed the contract ourselves and found no such restrictions. Later, both the sales manager and the wedding coordinator admitted they had never actually read the contract, which confirmed what we already suspected. - Communication then became inconsistent. As the critical planning time approached, communication stopped altogether. For over a week, our emails and calls went unanswered. - We left a final voicemail requesting a response and expressing the urgency of the situation. There was no reply. Instead of reconnecting, the venue canceled our wedding. We didn't cancel. They did. We entered into this process in good faith. What we received was avoidance, defensiveness, and silence. We're still getting married - just not in a space that treats communication like a burden and honest feedback like a threat. A vague excuse was cited to justify cancellation. After they cancelled our wedding, the venue initially offered us a refund - but only if we signed a non-disparagement agreement. Later, they reversed that condition and offered the refund without it. They also reframed my self-advocacy as aggression - without citing a single example of language or behavior to support the claim. As a queer, neurodivergent person navigating wedding planning with care and clarity, that kind of label was not only unfair, it was deeply hurtful. I showed up respectfully and directly. To have my concerns twisted into something threatening was a final breach of trust - and a tactic I know many others have experienced in similar power dynamics. If they truly believed they did nothing wrong, why ask for silence in exchange for a refund? Why waive their no-refunds policy - unless there's something they don't want publicly discussed? Their contract includes a non-reliance clause: "Renter may not rely on any representations, either verbal or written, made by OMF Parties unless specifically made part of this agreement." One designed to protect their business from accountability. If you're considering this venue, read the contract carefully. Ask direct questions. And if inclusion, respect, and accountability matter to you - don't assume they'll show up when it counts. I'm aware the venue may attempt to dispute this review or claim it's defamatory. Everything I've shared here is based on firsthand experience, supported by documentation, and expressed in good faith. Sharing a truthful account of a business interaction in a public forum is not defamation. This review is not an attack - it's a warning. And it exists so others can make informed decisions.

e had no matter how small it was. Theresa and Hector made day of a breeze not a single thing to be worried about not one thing went wrong or was mixed up. If you want the wedding you’ve dreamed of definitely choose them they won’t let you down. The cabin is a vibe for you and your party to get ready, hangout and get the party started for your big day. The pine lodge was also perfect area to hangout play games and start to soak all the emotions of the day. Has perfect picture locations too the lake , boat house all of it is perfect 1000/10 recommend

to make my day unforgettable. The venue is stunning, and the team’s attention to detail is unmatched. Hector was incredible, ensuring everything ran seamlessly on the day, and Teresa went out of her way to add a meaningful touch—a single yellow flower in memory of my brother—at the last minute. Their kindness, flexibility, and exceptional customer service made me feel like the most important person every time I worked with them. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I cannot recommend The Barn at Crescent Lake enough. They truly made my special day the best day ever!

t and this team was DETERMINED to make our day happen!! Hector went above and beyond all hours of the night communicating with us in regards to the status of the barn and our wedding day schedule. Two nights before we found out it was on and we couldn't be more thankful! They had trucks out their cleaning up debris, had a backup plan for our cocktail hour, and made sure we had ZERO stress from the storm to affect us. If you are thinking about where to get married or on the fence, THIS IS YOUR VENUE! Again, thank you guys so much for literally EVERYTHING! My wedding day was anything and everything i could have asked for!

esmaids and I got ready was so cute. We stayed there overnight after the wedding which was a blessing so we didn't have to travel! The view across the lake the next morning was beautiful. Theresa and Hector were fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Theresa helped with everything leading up to the day. Hector was on top of everything the day of. They made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. All I had to think about on the wedding day was getting myself ready! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

my friends and family go through the process and let me just tell you... Nobody does it like The Barn at Crescent Lake. Not that I've seen anyways. The venue is BEAUTIFUL; the pictures online don't do it justice just go look in person for yourself. They have getting ready suites for the girls and guys, which were perfectly designed and had everything we needed. They have design nights where you get to go pick out exactly how you want your wedding to be set up (which is amazing and so much fun). Theresa was so helpful through the process and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted and brought the whole thing together. Hector, on the day of the wedding was amazing!! All of the staff on the day of the wedding were amazing! They were attentive, polite, and took care of all of our guests. This venue does 95% of putting together the wedding, I've never seen anything like it. Everybody kept asking me if i was stressed during wedding planning and although I was (thanks to trying to set up seating arrangements for divorced families and trying to please all my friends and family) never was I stressed about design, decor, setting up the wedding, or bringing my vision to life. I gave the barn the picture of exactly how I wanted things and they made my vision a reality. They took away the stress of planning a wedding. I am so thankful I chose this venue it was worth every single penny.

ur big day the staff at The Barn was amazing. Theresa (Planner) and Hector (DOC) are a match made in heaven when it came to planning and executing our wildest dreams. Theresa and I were in contact almost weekly planning and going over all the little details. Hector conducted our rehearsal and was there every step of the way on the day of. I am still in absolutely AWE and I don’t know how to thank this team enough for everything they did for us.

ing all of the changes throughout the planning process, as well as fixed my veil right before I walked down the aisle. And Hector made everything look gorgeous and made everyone feel so comfortable. We are still receiving compliments about our wedding and everything it entailed! If you book The Barn, you will have peace of mind throughout the day, stunning scenery, great decor options, and so much more. We seriously couldn't be more happy with how our day went!!!!

r out there!) and all of the vendors were great & easy to work with. The venue location is absolutely stunning and you'll love your photos. Everything went so smoothly, including set up/decorations/food etc. We barely had to lift a finger! We received so many compliments and are beyond thrilled with our choice in venue.

ion we were all on the same page and the day went by without and problems.

e come together so beautifully without the help of the coordinators, Theresa and Hector, and the staff! They made sure everything ran smoothly. I will forever recommend The Barn at Crescent Lake for future couples!

is so fun and was so good to us and our guests. As a whole, the staff was very prepared and professional. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

fessional. The entire staff was great, The Venue was perfect and everything was beautiful. Can not thank them enough for everything they did.

ng staff. The wedding planning process was also amazing & stress free. The vendors they work with are great as well. Highly recommend!

nd to finish the rest. Our wedding day was beautiful every detail was put together perfectly. Hector and Theresa did absolutely amazing. Every single one of the vendors the bar offers exceeded our expectations as well.

rfect for our special day! I would 110% recommend The Barn and their staff for any of your events.

ding outside with the lake as background. The cabin had everything we needed to get ready. By the way, our vendors were awesome too. We used Pricilla from Destiny and Light make up group, Danielle from Save the Date, Jabbar from Events Done Right, Spunky Spirits (best drinks ever) and Denise at Latam. We stayed at the Hilton … so our guests got on the shuttle (we didn’t have to worry about driving)…I’m still getting compliments of how pretty everything was at our wedding!

ination and day-of coordination a breeze. Everything was so customizable but also the Barn has so much decor that’s already included that I didn’t have to stress about centerpieces and a ton of crafts leading up to the wedding. Not only did we enjoy it, but our guests and wedding party said the venue was amazing! Booking their preferred vendors was a breeze too, they already know the Barn and staff and are easy to work with. Highly recommend if you envision a Barn or picturesque wedding.

ut and executed perfectly. The most beautiful backdrop for the most beautiful moment. They made my dream wedding come true. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book them. You will be glad you did.

yone was so kind and willing to answer any questions we had promptly. I won’t ever stop bragging on BACL and would recommend to any engaged couple looking for the perfect venue!!! Special shout-out to Justine and Hector for making our day so special!

dding. As to be expected in the stressful wedding planning process there was a hiccup with the caterer a couple weeks before the wedding but Justine and my wedding planner, Erika O'Brien Events (also highly recommend!), came to me with a solution for the problem and it was resolved smoothly with me being minimally involved. The day of the wedding went so well and I was able to focus on enjoying the day with my husband! This is a great all-inclusive option (does not include photography and hair & make up) which helps to make the planning and coordinating simpler as the vendors have already worked with each other and are familiar with how weddings at this venue go.

They took care of anything and everything before we even knew something was needed. We were able to have our dog with us all night long and the staff went above and beyond in taking care of him. We really couldn't have asked for a better night and are so happy we chose The Barn!

they have so many wonderful decorations on site to help your vision come to life! It was just the perfect venue for my husband and I! There was the lake in the background while still giving the relaxed barn atmosphere. And yes it’s air conditioned another big plus! Something I noted as impressive is they actually had a rain contingency plan of where to move my ceremony- which with Florida’s weather is necessary! Just all around I highly recommend, they made my wedding day stress free and magical!

of our wedding. If anything occured pertaining to our day we did not know about it. Justine saved the day when we forgot our wedding license. She left the venue to search for it. Everything went smoothly. She located it without a hitch. They even accommodated when our guest wanted to be picky. We Hear from our guest it was the BEST wedding ever. We would not change anything. We highly recommend. Thank you again! The Taylor's

, from the ceremony spot, to inside the barn, everyone was beyond impressed. We also loved how easy the planning process was. I personally do not love planning events, so having an all inclusive venue was a must for me. The whole process from planning, to the big day was seamless and perfect in every way. I wouldn't have changed anything for the world.

bridal/groom suites and reception area. Teresa the coordinator handled everything and I had zero worries the day of. All of the vendors that they included in the package were outstanding. Months later I still get compliments on how beautiful everything looked and how much fun everyone had.

ew we were in good hands. As the mother of the bride, working with them took away a lot of the stress of planning a wedding. I would suggest to anyone getting married at this venue to take advantage of the all-inclusive package that they have to offer. They are very accommodating, provide great suggestions, & were flexible with any requests we had. Thanks to all of the vendors, Cara DeHart Lewis Photography, Hearts Video, Northside Florist, Spunky Spirits, Events Done Right, Affordable Catering (the roast beef was cooked to perfection), Eyes on You Salon, Chantilly Cakes, Sunshine Love Stories, & the staff at the Barn (& Chris for the truck). A special thanks to Theresa who took care of every little detail before, during, and after the wedding, so my husband and I were able to enjoy every minute of the day with our daughter and her husband, our family, and friends. The venue itself - you can't go wrong. The scenery was beautiful - overlooking the lake - picture perfect! Prior to my daughter's wedding, I followed The Barn on instagram & was excited to see how pretty everything looked at night. Let me tell you, the pictures only give you glimpse into the beauty of this place - I can't tell you how many compliments I got from our guests on how perfect they thought this place was. A month later, people are still commenting on how fantastic the day had been. I have to agree!!! Thanks again to everyone!! My daughter and her husband had the best time ever!!!
