They were so friendly and accommodating, I would get married here a million times over! I could not have been happier with our venue selection, as it was within our price range, included the DJ, food, cake, and bartending service within their listed price which makes the planning easy! It’s such a beautiful spot and I could not have had a more perfect wedding day here!

one call, and without taking any accountability for the role they played. Here's what happened: - We provided respectful feedback about the lack of meaningful LGBTQ+ representation. The venue acknowledged the feedback - but not in a thoughtful or appropriate way. - Instead of engaging with our concerns, we were redirected to their 5-star reviews. - When we asked planning questions and made a request, we were denied - told that the contract didn't allow it. We reviewed the contract ourselves and found no such restrictions. Later, both the sales manager and the wedding coordinator admitted they had never actually read the contract, which confirmed what we already suspected. - Communication then became inconsistent. As the critical planning time approached, communication stopped altogether. For over a week, our emails and calls went unanswered. - We left a final voicemail requesting a response and expressing the urgency of the situation. There was no reply. Instead of reconnecting, the venue canceled our wedding. We didn't cancel. They did. We entered into this process in good faith. What we received was avoidance, defensiveness, and silence. We're still getting married - just not in a space that treats communication like a burden and honest feedback like a threat. A vague excuse was cited to justify cancellation. After they cancelled our wedding, the venue initially offered us a refund - but only if we signed a non-disparagement agreement. Later, they reversed that condition and offered the refund without it. They also reframed my self-advocacy as aggression - without citing a single example of language or behavior to support the claim. As a queer, neurodivergent person navigating wedding planning with care and clarity, that kind of label was not only unfair, it was deeply hurtful. I showed up respectfully and directly. To have my concerns twisted into something threatening was a final breach of trust - and a tactic I know many others have experienced in similar power dynamics. If they truly believed they did nothing wrong, why ask for silence in exchange for a refund? Why waive their no-refunds policy - unless there's something they don't want publicly discussed? Their contract includes a non-reliance clause: "Renter may not rely on any representations, either verbal or written, made by OMF Parties unless specifically made part of this agreement." One designed to protect their business from accountability. If you're considering this venue, read the contract carefully. Ask direct questions. And if inclusion, respect, and accountability matter to you - don't assume they'll show up when it counts. I'm aware the venue may attempt to dispute this review or claim it's defamatory. Everything I've shared here is based on firsthand experience, supported by documentation, and expressed in good faith. Sharing a truthful account of a business interaction in a public forum is not defamation. This review is not an attack - it's a warning. And it exists so others can make informed decisions.

esmaids and I got ready was so cute. We stayed there overnight after the wedding which was a blessing so we didn't have to travel! The view across the lake the next morning was beautiful. Theresa and Hector were fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Theresa helped with everything leading up to the day. Hector was on top of everything the day of. They made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. All I had to think about on the wedding day was getting myself ready! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

my friends and family go through the process and let me just tell you... Nobody does it like The Barn at Crescent Lake. Not that I've seen anyways. The venue is BEAUTIFUL; the pictures online don't do it justice just go look in person for yourself. They have getting ready suites for the girls and guys, which were perfectly designed and had everything we needed. They have design nights where you get to go pick out exactly how you want your wedding to be set up (which is amazing and so much fun). Theresa was so helpful through the process and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted and brought the whole thing together. Hector, on the day of the wedding was amazing!! All of the staff on the day of the wedding were amazing! They were attentive, polite, and took care of all of our guests. This venue does 95% of putting together the wedding, I've never seen anything like it. Everybody kept asking me if i was stressed during wedding planning and although I was (thanks to trying to set up seating arrangements for divorced families and trying to please all my friends and family) never was I stressed about design, decor, setting up the wedding, or bringing my vision to life. I gave the barn the picture of exactly how I wanted things and they made my vision a reality. They took away the stress of planning a wedding. I am so thankful I chose this venue it was worth every single penny.

As to be expected in the stressful wedding planning process there was a hiccup with the caterer a couple weeks before the wedding but Justine and my wedding planner, Erika O'Brien Events (also highly recommend!), came to me with a solution for the problem and it was resolved smoothly with me being minimally involved. The day of the wedding went so well and I was able to focus on enjoying the day with my husband! This is a great all-inclusive option (does not include photography and hair & make up) which helps to make the planning and coordinating simpler as the vendors have already worked with each other and are familiar with how weddings at this venue go.

They took care of anything and everything before we even knew something was needed. We were able to have our dog with us all night long and the staff went above and beyond in taking care of him. We really couldn't have asked for a better night and are so happy we chose The Barn!

they have so many wonderful decorations on site to help your vision come to life! It was just the perfect venue for my husband and I! There was the lake in the background while still giving the relaxed barn atmosphere. And yes it’s air conditioned another big plus! Something I noted as impressive is they actually had a rain contingency plan of where to move my ceremony- which with Florida’s weather is necessary! Just all around I highly recommend, they made my wedding day stress free and magical!

, from the ceremony spot, to inside the barn, everyone was beyond impressed. We also loved how easy the planning process was. I personally do not love planning events, so having an all inclusive venue was a must for me. The whole process from planning, to the big day was seamless and perfect in every way. I wouldn't have changed anything for the world.

They are very accommodating, provide great suggestions, & were flexible with any requests we had. A special thanks to Theresa who took care of every little detail before, during, and after the wedding, so my husband and I were able to enjoy every minute of the day with our daughter and her husband, our family, and friends. The venue itself - you can't go wrong. The scenery was beautiful - overlooking the lake - picture perfect! Prior to my daughter's wedding, I followed The Barn on instagram & was excited to see how pretty everything looked at night. Let me tell you, the pictures only give you glimpse into the beauty of this place - I can't tell you how many compliments I got from our guests on how perfect they thought this place was. A month later, people are still commenting on how fantastic the day had been. I have to agree!!! Thanks again to everyone!! My daughter and her husband had the best time ever!!!
