We loved working with Frosty Valley. It is the perfect venue with everything you could want in one place! The outdoor ceremony options and the barn are both beautiful. We loved having our family and friends stay at the cottages. Jenni was very professional and helpful when answering our questions. The food was delicious - the chef Louis helped us to develop our menu with the theme that we wanted. All of the staff the day of our wedding were incredibly nice and made the day go smoothly. Would highly recommend!!

Located in Danville, PA, The Barn at Frosty Valley is a venue that caters for weddings and special occasions. The barn is set amidst the grounds of the Frosty Valley golf course, offering a rustic charm and elegance in refined and sophisticated surroundings. Couples who secure this venue can enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery while celebrating the start of married life.
This venue was established in 1961 as a country club. Due to its excellent facilities and stunning mountain landscape, the popularity of the club increased, and an expansion was needed to accommodate the growing interest. Recently renovated, the vintage and timeless feel of the barn remains, now embellished with modern touches. The barn offers heating and air conditioning, allowing guests to enjoy the celebrations in comfort.
This venue boasts both indoor and outdoor event spaces. Couples who choose the barn can expect an airy and country feel, with beamed vaulted ceilings and wood-lined walls. Exposed piping brings a stylish industrial touch to the decor, while its polished wooden floors are ideal for the first dance. Guests can enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding treetops from the high windows while light pours through. Draped voile and glowing chandeliers help to heighten the romantic atmosphere in the air. This barn also features a patio and outdoor decking. For couples who wish to have a more intimate celebration, the venue contains a second indoor event space in the clubhouse. This banquet room offers guests elegant and refined interiors, with an outdoor area.
The barn can accommodate up to 240 guests which leaves space for entertainment, dance floor, gift table, etc while the banquet room (Iron Room) can host up to 80 people for a wedding. This venue caters to every ceremony type, and can provide the services of a wedding coordinator to assist couples with the little details (we do not include a day of coordinator). All food and beverage needs are provided by Frosty Valley. We do allow specialty desserts to be brought in. Floor-length linens in a choice of colors are available to rent. As a gift, this venue also offers a groomsmen golf outing.

BRIDES BEWARE - NIGHTMARE end to our wedding night:

he previous guest. The sheets were disheveled and there were dirty used towels on the floor of the bathroom giving the room a mildewy smell. We tried calling the “emergency” number for the cottages and were panicking unable to get through to anyone. Nobody was answering even though this was truly an emergency - we had nowhere else to stay on our wedding night. We had to run across the parking lot and beg one of our bartenders to contact someone. This was appalling.
While trying to contact FV to discuss what happened the next few days, they were largely unresponsive (several phone calls ignored), dismissive in our requests for compensation for this huge error, and still cannot explain to us why the room was not clean.
Overall, Frosty Valley’s treatment of us was absolutely atrocious, and I would not recommend anyone booking this venue or the cottages. Forgetting to clean a room is a mistake, but treating a customer the way they treated us was a choice. I should add that after 3 days they did begrudgingly reimburse us for our room and a $200 credit, a total of $388, which is laughable given that we brought in over $22,000 of revenue for them as the wedding couple.
I will also add that when we initially booked our wedding with them, we signed a contract to do catering through them, and a few months into the contract, they told us that they were no longer offering catering, breaching the contract and forcing us to find an outside caterer (Craft Catering ended up being wonderful).
Our final bill was also not updated until 3 days before it was due, after I had to email Jenni to ask to update it, and then rush to pay it after it was finally updated.
Overall, I would NOT recommend anyone book at this venue. Our issues should have been addressed immediately with professionalism and compassion, but instead we were ignored and invalidated - Jenni referred to the cottage situation as an "inconvenience" and Dave Klingerman compared it to finding a hair in a bathtub on his wedding night.
I also find it absolutely disgusting that they STILL cannot figure out why a cottage room was not clean, and some of our other wedding guests have now questioned whether their rooms are cleaned as there was an old receipt found in another guest’s room.

d to be worked on. Many of my guests complained to me that the staff was rude to them during the reception. The Locker Rooms are beautifully decorated, but you are only given 4 hours to get ready before the ceremony and you cant leave anything in there unless it is arranged in advance that you get a locker because the locker rooms are for public access. For catering, you have to use their resturant. That takes one vendor off of the "to book" list, but the food is average and you can't take any leftovers home even though you paid for it. Overall, I don't recommend Frosty Valley.

provided excellent feedback of tips and tricks when it came to setting up the reception space, selecting our food and drinks, as well as accommodating those last minute special requests. She was extremely helpful the Friday before our wedding making sure everything was where it needed to be for the following day.
Jenni made sure to be there to greet our vendors and guests as they arrived on wedding day and was available to help my husband and I with anything we needed. Breakfast and lunch was provided for our bridal party prior to the ceremony and it was delicious.
When it came time for the ceremony she was right there to make sure everything ran smoothly, she truly walked us through the whole process. During cocktail hour and the reception our guests kept saying how great the food and drinks were and how friendly the staff was.
My husband and I could not have picked a better venue to have our wedding. Do not hesitate to reach out to Jenni and book Frosty Valley for your big day!!

wedding and the scale of the venue was just right for our needs. To give you a sense of how wonderful the staff are, my mom realized the morning of the wedding that we had forgotten to confirm whether one of the sides was dairy free. Jenni worked with the chef to especially prepare some DF vegetables for my sister and my cousin’s boyfriend. They made everything go smoothly for all of our vendors and the staff who waited on us at our sweetheart table were great. Our wedding was a smash success, in no small part to this beautiful venue and the great team at Frosty Valley! We highly recommend this venue, and our guests loved the interior as well as the views.

the planning of the reception so Jenni would meet with us, the parents, to help coordinate on site visits and relay details back and forth to Florida. We were first time Parents of the Bride and Jenni always checked in with all of us, and was very prompt with email return messages. She never acted like any request was too much....my husband worked with Jenni to design the cocktail hour and open bar set ups the way that we thought the family and guests would enjoy the most. She collaborated with us, the band, and the Day of Planner to get the evening timeline "just so". We met several times to: brainstorm ideas, discuss the physical arrangement of the outer and inner barn areas, correct and fine tune how dinner and drinks would be served to guests, etc...Jenni knew how important it was for us to take good care of the Bride and Groom and all of our guests. She didn't mind all the moving pieces of added items to make the day extra special. Also, it must be mentioned that if we needed to tweak anything during the reception, she was right there to make on-site adjustments. The best part was that Frosty Valley has a guideline to get you started but they were flexible and welcomed our input and ideas of the Bride, Groom, and Family to make the wedding personal and meaningful, honoring any customs or traditions. Our daughter's vision was a Romantic Italian Wedding and Frosty Valley made that dream come true! Thank you so very much!!!

passed through Frosty the day before our wedding, and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. The coordination and timing the day of the wedding was also flawless. As the bride, I did not have a single worry, and Jenni made sure of that! The food by Chef Matt was outstanding - my guests are still talking about it - and the bar service was great! The modernized barn was the perfect touch to our wedding aesthetic as well. It was overall a beautiful day and I am so grateful for the team at Frosty Valley. I highly recommend this venue for weddings and events!

tions, she was patient and understanding in helping me put my reception vision into a reality. The surrounding was beautiful, the food was satisfactory, and the staff was friendly. A few suggestions I would make would be to update the carpeting, expand the bathrooms, and increase the staff at the reception. I believe some of these are already works in progress, which would help them be a more suitable fit for a large event. I really enjoyed working with Jenni to create a memorable reception, and I look forward to using them for other special events as well!

ictures are amazing. There is plenty of parking for guests. Nice locker rooms for the bridal party to get ready. Wonderful spots for pictures. We also had our reception here. The inside is also very nice with an outside patio. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding. The individual who I worked with was named Tommy Marks. He is still new with coordinating weddings, but he did well. I think he'll get better as time goes on. There was some confusion in the beginning with food, alcohol, and pricing, but everything worked out amazing! It is a little pricey, but worth it! We loved it here and so did all our guests.
