Working with Amy was such a breeze! We looked at a few barns as I really had my heart set on that rustic feel. Amy was amazing and made us feel like we mattered and we weren’t just a paycheck to her. Instantly we were hooked. Our guests all raved about the food, the beauty of the venue, and said being at a wedding where the food was full of flavor and not bland was to me a great compliment! From start to finish Amy and her family and crew made sure we had everything we needed and amazing communication! It was such a relief as a panicking bride wanting things just right. We all dream of that magical day and they helped our dreams become our reality. Much love to the Barn at Hillsprings Farm!! Love the new Mr & Mrs!
Dorotha and Amy were amazing and helped make the day flow so smoothly. The Barn staff was very organized and I was constantly getting compliments from guests throughout the night about how great the venue was! The food was delicious and it was the perfect venue!

The Barn at Hillsprings Farm is the perfect backdrop for all types of special events. The Barn is the ideal “all in one place” venue! Founded by the Painter family, with many years of experience, they take sincere pleasure in providing delicious food in a unique country-style atmosphere and specialize in wood-fired cooking. The natural wood smoke truly enhances the flavor of beef, chicken, and pork, along with many other menu choices. Tables, chairs, plates, silverware, and linens are included in each package and the Barn rental fee. This beautifully restored and uniquely constructed barn is nestled in the serene hills of the town of Tuscarora, New York, at 535 County Route 85. We are 8 miles south of Addison, NY, and 3 miles north of Elkland, PA. Months of operation are May through mid-October.

- Amy Doanwedding planner and cookAmy brings heart and heritage, and a whole lot of joy to every wedding she plans. Amy and her sister, Dorotha, and partner in the business were raised on a 600-acre beef and dairy farm .Their roots run deep in hospitality. Their family's custom butcher shop and legendary onsite catering business-specializing in whole ox and pig roasts-taught them early on how to create unforgettable gatherings. Amy's love for celebration blossomed when she and her husband, John, envisioned their own wedding reception in the family barn. Back then, it was still a working barn-hay, dust, and all. But with a spark of inspiration and a whole lot of elbow grease , the barn was transformed into a charming event space. With two grown children, and a grandson, Amy knows how to make every moment count. Her background as cook, first-grade teacher, and avid backpacker adds layers of creativity and care to her planning style. Hosting and entertaining is what brings her joy.
