Amazing venue for our wedding. Jon made it so easy for all of us and recommended amazing vendors. He even Airbnbs his home and we used it as a staging area where the bridal party c...
ould get ready and store all of our stuff! Jon allowed us to visit multiple times and he was there day and night of the wedding ensuring we were good to go. Absolutely amazing venue and owner and would book for any type of event again!
We held our wedding at the Garden Barn on September 24, 2022, and could not have been happier! Owner John Lang was responsive and easy to work with, with clear instructions and gr...
eat follow through. Anything we needed through planning and on the day of our wedding, he made sure it happened without a lot of fuss or issue (even handling extra requests from our guests without bothering us). There were no surprises in terms of budget and costs, and he was personally there helping his onsite team and generally making sure the day went according to plan. Honestly no negatives, go see John--he's seen it all and will help you have a perfect day!
After having a small backyard wedding last year due to COVID, my husband and I had a vow renewal ceremony/reception in the main barn this August. Jon was so kind and thoughtful thr...
oughout the entire process. The barn was beautiful -- we barely brought any of our own decorations! We would highly recommend this venue. Amazing experience!
We had our wedding in the main barn, and it couldn't have been a better choice of venue. Some unexpected rain meant we had to move the ceremony inside, but that was the only small ...
wrinkle -- and even that didn't put a damper on things, since the barn interior is beautiful, and the double doors onto the patio provided the perfect backdrop. The space was perfect for our party (roughly 100 guests), the bar staff was excellent, and Debbie and Jon were wonderful to work with throughout the process, from the very initial planning to the day-of, helping to make the day exactly as we envisioned. Picture-perfect venue with a great team of people -- highly recommend!
My fiance and I scheduled a tour of the barn with the owners and after 30 minutes of waiting with no response to the multiple e-mails sent, we left. Afterwards, the owners claimed ...
they lost their calendar and apologized for missing the appointment. We then rescheduled a tour for the next weekend and they gave me a cell phone number to call when we arrived. Upon arrival, I called the cell phone number, left a message and never heard back. We waited for another 30 minutes and then decided to leave. As a bride, the last thing I should be worrying about is wasting my time with people that do not care enough to return our calls or emails or show up to not one but two appointments we had scheduled. Very disappointing.
Our wedding at The Lang Barn was absolutely perfect. Jon and Debbie were friendly, patient and very flexible. They were able to work with us and our vendors to make our wedding day...
perfect. The venue is very beautiful and all of our guests enjoyed.
I am so happy with our wedding at the Lang Barn. It's obvious from the first visit how beautiful the barn and the grounds are. What you dont see is how accomodating, kind and won...
derful Jon and Debbie Lang are! They made the whole experience great- especially during a time when things are crazy and hectic, they were always there, answering my hundreds of emails and letting me stop by at all hours day and night. I was looking for a more unique experience (i.e. not a wedding factory) and anything I ran by them they were cool with. They also had great suggestions and recommendations. What I love most is thier presence. They are as involved as you want them to be or they can just leave you to do your own thing. Do not hestitate for a second booking this venue!
Being in the bridal industry, I had a lot of expectations!! Jon and Debby Lang were so easy to work with and went above and beyond their roles as venue owners!! Jon was always avai...
lable to help out with questions and concerns! And the day of.. It was PERFECT!! We were married there and later had the reception at the newly renovated Garden Barn.. I wouldn't change a thing!! Highly recommended!! Thank you to the whole team at Lang!!!
The barn itself is amazing and being able to pull flowers and other décor from the nursery and antique shop helps offset the price, overall well worth the money for this beautiful ...
space! Communication with the owners was great, from having the caterer from the previous night’s wedding leave up table and chairs to helping with a last minute correction on décor, John and his team made it happen. Yes, you either have to do setup yourself or hire a wedding planner but that’s the trade off to get this amazing space that does not look like a conference room. Our reception far exceeded our expectations. If you want an elegant barn space with amazing views this is the place for your wedding!
I LOVE THE BARN AT LANG FARM!!! DEBBIE AND JON WERE AWESOME AND MY WEDDING WAS PERFECT
The Langs were very accommodating and easy to work with. It is a beautiful space, rustic yet elegant and the perfect setting for a Vermont wedding!
i can't express how helpful Jon and Debbie were to help us prepare for our wedding. we were able to stop by to check out the space as often as possible. they were very flexable a...
nd allowed us to borrow plants from their nursery and a few small decorations from their antique shop. the space is so very lovely. we were given free range to decorate. if you are a diy bride or want to have control over your set up, this is the place for you. just on a side note, there is no A/C, so beware if planning a summer wedding. Jon was amazing and rounded up a bunch of industrial fans for us.
The barn is unbeatable with detail and style
The Lang Barn was a beautiful place to have my reception which provided a true feel of Vermont. The grounds were lovely with beautiful flowers, views of the mountain and the barn ...
is beautiful! They have paid so much attention to detail. They do everything they can to make the wedding for you and your guests a wonderful experience from start to finish, and not just for the event, but all the planning that goes into it in advance. They recommended great people to work with and we had a wonderful day with nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend the Lang Barn for any event!
