The Barn at Moody Mountain Farm

As soon as I walked into the Barn at Moody Mountain Farm, I knew we were going to get married there. I literally cried!! Julie and Perrin made everything so easy for us since the beginning. Perrin was available the entire day before and of the wedding to help out with vendors and what not. The venue is immaculate, the sunken garden with mountain views is breathtaking, and the bridal suite (or as we called it the She Shed) is perfect for getting ready in. I highly recommend getting married here and will cherish the memories we made her for the rest of our lives. Thank you giving us the wedding of our dreams!! We will visit whenever we are in Wolfeboro!

We booked our date with Moody Mountain a year and a half in advance, in February 2017 for our September 2018 wedding. Throughout the planning stages of our wedding, Julie and Perrin were the most accommodating and informative when it came to anything we needed. Random questions that I would email to Julie late at night about the height of various doorways, to suggestions on what size tables or tents to use, to us attending ALL of their open houses, just so we could scope out the grounds, they were always the most pleasant, prompt, and kind to deal with. The barn itself is the most amazing piece of New England architecture. They have decorated and maintained the barn in an exquisite way, as to keep it as original looking as possible. They have also added amazing “upgrades” to the property as well. These were complete bonuses to us! The getting ready cabin provided a great spot for the girls to hide before walking down the isle, and the firepit was perfect for our chilly fall night. The grounds are all perfectly maintained and there are so many options to really make this property your own for your special day. I can’t say enough great things about Moody Mountain, we may have to come back to all the open houses in the future just to be back in a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts!

This place is AMAZING. If you want to get married in a legit barn that looks legit beautiful, this is your place. The owner & family are super professional and sweet. Plus the house you can rent on site is perfect for hosting your small army of bridesmaids.

At the heart of our wedding planning was the right venue, Moody Mountain Farm surpassed all expectations. We were married in the sunken garden overlooking a field and mountains, then our guests walked up to the barn for the cocktail hour and reception. Our photographer couldn't get over how beautiful the site was for our photographs. We loved getting married here, it is a very special place. At our option, we also rented the adajacent farm house for the wedding party who stayed there from Thursday thru Sunday, we also had access to the barn for the same period as part of the rental, great for setting up ahead of time and not being part of a wedding machine, you have the place to yourselves.
