What was your favorite part of the planning process?
My favorite part of the planning process was honestly how easy Sarah made everything! Wedding planning can become overwhelming so quickly, but she made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. Between her guidance, communication, and the planning resources provided to booked couples, we always felt like we knew what needed to happen next. Having someone who was so helpful and organized made such a difference.
What’s a moment from your wedding day you’ll never forget?
One moment I will never forget was walking into our reception for the first time as husband and wife. Hearing our family and friends cheering and applauding us from the main floor all the way up to the balcony was absolutely incredible. For a moment, we could just look around and take in how many people were there celebrating our love and this new chapter with us. The energy in that room was something I will never be able to put completely into words. It is a memory we will carry with us forever.
How was your overall experience working with our team?
10/10 — we would recommend The Barn at Seneca Hills 1,000 times over! From planning all the way through our wedding day, our experience was wonderful. The venue is beautiful, the process was smooth, and we truly felt like we were in good hands. For any couple dreaming of that romantic barn atmosphere without sacrificing a beautiful, well-organized wedding experience, this venue is everything.
What would you tell a newly engaged couple considering our venue?
BOOK IT! Don’t think twice! If you have fallen in love with The Barn at Seneca Hills, trust that feeling. This is where you want to be. The venue is gorgeous, the team makes the process easy, and seeing everything come together on your wedding day is even more beautiful than you imagine during the planning process. We would choose this venue all over again in a heartbeat.
What was your vision for your wedding day?
My vision was a romantic boho-inspired wedding that felt beautiful, warm, and completely us. The Barn at Seneca Hills gave us the perfect backdrop to bring that vision to life. From the outdoor ceremony to the beautiful barn reception, everything came together exactly how I had pictured it. Seeing all of the details we had planned finally come together in that space was such a special feeling—it truly became the wedding I had envisioned.

ys quick to respond to my emails and questions. She was also extremely flexible with us after we changed our mind on different things a couple weeks before our wedding. We chose to book the venue for our rehearsal the night before as well and I’m so grateful we had that option, it truly made our wedding day go so smoothly. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about their experience as well. The barn was amazing space with so many amazing places for photos and for guests to hang out when they needed a break. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a barn style venue and we had the most amazing experience getting married here!

romptly. Sarah makes the planning process much easier and provides multiple resources to assist with planning if you would like them. Sarah and her team were wonderful the night before our wedding and the day of. We didn’t decide until morning of to have the wedding indoors due to weather and we tried a new set up for the ceremony indoors. Even though it was a different set up Sarah had everything set up for us and put everything back where it needed to be for the reception with ease. If you’re getting married in the Tiffin area, we recommend The Barn!

She answered all of our questions promptly, often going the extra mile to coordinate with her team during renovations. Her dedication and care for the couples she works with are truly unmatched.
The venue itself is breathtaking—rustic, modern, and newly renovated. We intentionally kept our decorations minimal to let the beauty of the space shine through. The garage doors were a highlight, giving us seamless indoor-outdoor flow for cocktail hour and access to the bar. Our guests loved the fire pits scattered throughout the property, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful grounds and move freely between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and ensuring our guests were happy with the drink selections we had chosen. Every detail about the space contributed to a smooth, memorable experience.
For couples planning their ceremony, I highly recommend hosting it on-site. The grounds provided a stunning setting, and being able to transition effortlessly from ceremony to reception on the same property allowed us to fully enjoy our day without the stress of travel. Our sunset photos were magical and some of our favorites from the day.
Sarah’s organization and thoughtful approach were especially helpful since we planned everything ourselves. She provided us with all the tools and support we needed for a seamless wedding. It’s clear she genuinely cares about making each couple’s experience special.
Overall, The Barn at Seneca Hills is a gem in Northwest Ohio. From its incredible property to Sarah’s dedication and kindness, the experience was everything we hoped for and more. r any wedding size! It's got air conditioning, a beautiful ceremony area outside, TWO BEAUTIFUL balcony's inside where you can sit guests for dinner or just keep them open. The bar area is big, long and will serve guests inside AND outside the venue. It's awesome! The bathrooms are clean and the "getting ready" area is very well lit! Would recommend this venue to any couple!!
