My daughter was married to the love her life in July 2025 at The Barn of Stony Hills.
The venue was absolutely beautiful and there was not one detail overlooked by the owners.
We worked with Joni and she was amazing! Prior to the wedding she was always extremely prompt in replying to any and all inquiries and questions.
There were no surprises and everything was just as promised and the day was amazing!
From the beautiful landscape to the detailed interior of each and every structure, this venue is nothing short of spectacular.
Joni is truely a sincere and genuine person!
We would highly recommend The Barn of Stony Hills for your wedding accommodations.

The Barn at Stoney Hills is a charming wedding venue in Cushing, MN. We are now accepting tours and bookings for the 2027 wedding season!
What's included when you host your wedding at The Barn at Stoney Hills? The venue is yours for the ENTIRE weekend, allowing you to set up, rehearse, and host dinner the day before, space for 25+ people to stay onsite, and you have the day after for tear down! There are 4 ceremony spaces to choose from to accommodate any weather, each with its own arbor and scenic views of the landscapes, so you'll get amazing photos without having to leave the property. Chairs are provided for the ceremony, and chairs, tables, and linens are provided for the reception spaces. The venue includes an on-site venue manager, separate bridal and groom suites, and access to the farmhouse for your 3-day event. The Barn itself offers a three-sided loft, grand staircase, wrap-around bar, catering prep kitchen, pizza ovens, a covered patio with whiskey barrel tables and fireplaces for social hour, the option to choose all your own vendors within your budget (including catering), and MUCH MORE! Since the day Randy and Joni traveled to central Minnesota as a young married couple, they continue to be taken back by the grandeur of the rolling hills dotted with wetlands, grassy fields, and lush forests. This farm is truly the product of our families hard work, love, and prayer. Our family has enjoyed many memorable times on the property and we are honored to share this stunning place with you and your family.

ything we could have hoped for. The entire experience felt intentional and well thought out, making our wedding weekend extra special and meaningful.
One of the biggest highlights was having full access to the venue from Friday morning through Sunday. That alone was a game changer. Being able to take our time setting up on Friday made such a difference—we honestly don’t know how we would have done it without that extra day. We were able to set up our reception space exactly how we envisioned it without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, and that peace of mind is priceless.
We used the venue for our rehearsal dinner on Friday, our wedding and reception on Saturday, and then hosted a gift opening in the barn on Sunday, which was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend. Having everything in one place allowed us to fully enjoy each moment without worrying about travel or logistics. Staying on-site was also incredible and allowed us to be fully present instead of running around all weekend.
The value for the money at The Barn at Stoney Hills is truly above and beyond. Not only is the venue stunning, but the barn also provides an amazing selection of décor that couples can use. This saved us so much time and money, and we used many of their items for our table centerpieces. Everything was beautiful, timeless, and fit the space perfectly.
The venue manager deserves special recognition. Having someone on-site and available for any questions was invaluable. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process and during the weekend itself, helped direct vendors, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Her organization and calm presence took a huge weight off our shoulders.
We’ve heard horror stories from other couples about venues with strict rules or making couples feel bad for asking questions. That was absolutely not the case here. Not once did we feel like our needs were inconvenient, and every request was met with kindness, flexibility, and support.
Communication leading up to the wedding was outstanding. Joni and the barn staff were incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough. Every question was answered in depth, and we never felt left wondering about anything.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and our wedding day turned out to be a perfect, dreamy September day. This venue was truly an absolute dream, and we are so grateful we chose The Barn at Stoney Hills. If you want a beautiful, flexible venue with a team that genuinely cares, this is it. We would choose it again without hesitation.

We received so many compliments during and after our wedding, most saying they had never seen anything like this! This venue allows you to fully enjoy your wedding weekend, rather than cramming it into a 12 hour rental period like most other venues. Communication leading up to the wedding day was clear and very responsive. The day of set up we were provided with extra communication and resources as well. Above all else this venue values marriage in the eyes of God, and it was felt throughout all spaces of the venue - another component not felt or emphasized at most venues. My husband and I feel so blessed to have found The Barn at Stoney Hills, and met the owners who are so incredibly kind. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

or. The space and décor availability allowed us to tailor the style with many options to use from Stoney Hills, and we could add our personal touch to go beyond. The entire venue has been put together to offer the most flexibility we could find, we were able to bring in food/drink/DJ and other vendors that fit our wedding. The staff and set up from Stoney Hills made everything very easy on arrival for both us and the vendors to have a dedicated space. The grounds provided a perfect setup and accommodated our guest to casually enjoy the day with shade, seats, tables, fire at night, and inside with AC. We were able to shift around 165 guest/s to and from the venue, ceremony site, happy hour, and inside for dinner with ease along with being able to have everything setup inside prior to people entering. Again, the space was exceptional in how we could set up the main floor and upstairs with seating and space for catering, dance floor, etc. The kitchen space was everything our catering team needed for the wedding and the kitchen also provided us a great spot for us to prepare and setup for a Fri night Grooms dinner. The bar area and provided supplies helped our bar staff operate all night with ease and minimal lines. Lastly the house and Bride/Groom suite was one of the most unique things about Stoney Hills, having the entire wedding party join us for the weekend made our celebration amazing, not only did we get to spend the entire weekend celebrating in one place together. We didn’t have to include any additional groom’s dinner cost/bookings or wedding group transportation/lodging. Everything from the weekend was amazing and would highly recommend The Barn at Stoney Hills to anyone!

The property itself is absolutely stunning and very well maintained. Having access to the venue the night before our wedding was a huge bonus and allowed us to set up and truly enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. The on-site farmhouse was another highlight—comfortable and convenient for our stay.
Being able to clean up the following day was incredibly helpful and gave us peace of mind to fully soak in the celebration. absolutely gorgeous and it really felt luxurious! Joni and her team are absolute wonderful people and they do a great job with the venue and making sure our wedding was perfect. Joni also offers really great wedding vendor recommendations that we took advantage of! Our wedding truly felt like a dream!! One of the things we loved the most about The Barn at Stoney Hills was that we got to rent the venue for a whole weekend (Friday-Sunday). This aloud us to have our grooms dinner on site the night before the wedding and we got to spend quality time with all of our friends and family. The house on site is perfect for large wedding party’s to stay the night and not have to worry about getting hotel rooms. I am so thankful that we had our wedding at The Barn at Stoney Hills.

The bridal suite is absolutely perfect, it is the perfect place to get ready and spend time with your girls. The guys also really enjoyed spending time in the grooms sweet. The barn itself is so beautiful, you don’t need a lot of additional decor then the stuff that they allow you to use as the barn is beautiful how it is. We got many great comments from friends and family how amazing the venue was, how it was nice to even just sit outside and enjoy the grounds. My husband and I both got emotional leaving the venue grounds, it is truly a special place. We highly recommend this venue for your special event!!

ey kept communication open, personal, and professional. They have thought of absolutely anything you could ever need in a wedding venue and were a huge part in why our wedding was a dream come true. Our family and guests were stunned at how beautiful the grounds and barn were and we still receive so many compliments on the venue itself. Having the venue for 3 days was a huge part in what made our wedding weekend so amazing. We felt much more relaxed and enjoyed the setting up process as we had so much time together. We were able to really enjoy the whole process and loved having our groom's dinner on site Friday night. The Barn has all the decor you could ask for and was integral in helping our vision come to life. Another huge benefit was having the house on site to host family and friends in the wedding party. It was so convenient to have the option for everyone to stay right on the property. It was a perfect getaway weekend and I cannot recommend this venue enough!!

All we can say is WOW. The Barn at Stoney Hills was our literal DREAM venue. Not only is the Barn itself stunning but so is the entire property! Everything is so elegant and clean....
Joni and the team were amazing to work with and quickly attended to all our questions/requests. They truly made our wedding weekend perfect to the T. It was incredibly convenient having the venue for the entire weekend and being able to use all their wedding amenities like table clothes, center pieces, etc. Not to mention allowing any vendors we desired was AMAZING. We had around 275 guests and all of them raved about how absolutely stunning the venue is. We are SO lucky we were able to host our wedding at The Barn at Stoney Hills and seriously cannot recommend them enough!

Gorgeous!” We feel fortunate to have shared such an amazing moment in our daughter’s (and our new son-in-law’s 😊) life with our friends and family at this location. A memory I have from the day is when I entered the barn after the ceremony…the joy, love, peace, and happiness I could feel around me was overwhelming. I know this had everything to do with the location ~ it is truly a special place. Should you be lucky enough to be married here, you will not regret a single, solitary moment. TBSH is also the perfect place to get to know, establish and relationship, and share special moments with your entire family and new in-laws. The Barn at Stoney Hills that I confirmed with a deposit before I even toured. For starters, this venue offers a three-day timeline where you can utilize the entire property for setting up early, having your rehearsal dinner on site, and giving yourself time to enjoy what is going on around you. They have TONS of free to use décor, including hundreds of electric candles to use at your disposal, which saved me money. They do not require any particular vendors, so you are free to pick and choose who you please. I could rave about the details they offered that made it the perfect venue for hours, but to keep it shorter, here is a list…
- There is room for up to 25 people to stay on the property and it feels like a little resort get away.
- Every building is air-conditioned here, which may seem obvious, but there are a shocking number of venues that are not.
- There are three outdoor locations to get married and two beautiful indoor locations, so if you are afraid of bad weather ruining your outdoor wedding, you don’t need to worry because your backup plan will be just as beautiful.
- The property has insanely gorgeous places to take photos. My favorites included the bridge by the fountain and the pond. We used their rowboat to take photos at sunset!
- There are several beautiful long wooden tables and chairs to use.
- Speaker system in the venue.
- Outdoor fire tables and fire pits.
- The chandeliers!!!
- You may arrange your tables in whatever manner you like.
- There is a full-sized kitchen for the caterers.
- The bar is adorable, and you can supply your own alcohol if you are not selling it. Or you hire a catered bar staff to supply open or cash bar.
- Did I mention the DÉCOR free to use!
- There is a lofted upper floor to the venue.
- Two golf carts to use around the property.
- Again…the bridal and grooms suite are amazing and very spacious.
Finally, the last thing that sold me on this venue was the people who own it. Joni and Randy were wonderful to work with and anyone can see the amount of love and work they have poured into this venue. I could not recommend this venue enough to couples who are looking for a beautiful place to get married.

The grounds of the venue are absolutely immaculate! We had our ceremony site at North Point on the property and it was just breathtaking! From the barn itself, ceremony site, and all the photo ops it made for some amazing wedding pictures! They even have a row boat that you can take into the pond which makes for a beautiful picture! A major plus of this venue is that you get to enjoy the property for the full weekend of your wedding. This was a huge determining factor for us to pick this venue because of the extra time we got to spend with family and friends. It also was a huge plus so we could have the grooms dinner on Friday at the property and have the opportunity to have our wedding party all stay on site in the farm house so we could all be together! Another awesome feature of the barn is the endless amount of decorations that are included in the cost which are so beautiful!
Joni and Randy and their staff are absolutely AMAZING! We had Casie as our day of wedding coordinator and she was awesome! When we arrived at the barn on Friday she went through any little questions we had and was available throughout the day to assist. On Saturday (day of wedding), she checked in multiple times to see if there was anything she could do to help. Joni was absolutely amazing as well! She checked in multiple times through out the weeks and even months before the wedding and she is the sweetest person!
On our wedding day, our guests could not get enough of the landscape and property of The Barn at Stoney Hills. We had multiple people comment to us that, “this place is absolutely amazing,” and that “there will never be another wedding we go to as beautiful as here.”
We can not thank Joni and Randy enough for the wedding of our dreams. If you’re looking into this venue for your future wedding, book it because you will not regret it! We would HIGHLY recommend The Barn at Stoney Hills 10000%!!!

My wedding party and family stayed on site from Friday - Sunday which allowed me to spend more quality time with my family and friends. You also get to bring in all your vendors which saves a lot of money in food and drinks. The location is absolutely gorgeous, allowing for the most perfect photos. There is not a single bad thing to say about this venue. If I had to do it all again, I would pick this venue again in a heartbeat.

she was so welcoming and you could see all the thought that went into the design of the barn. We loved having the venue for the entire weekend and being able to have the wedding party stay at the house. We were able to set up everything on Friday and had the grooms dinner on site. The kitchen in the barn made it super easy to prep the food for the grooms dinner. We also only brought like 3 of our own decorations because the barn already has a bunch of decor items onsite to use and the barn is so elegant by itself that it really doesn’t need much. Also you can choose your own vendors and bring in your own liquor which is really nice. We were able to brew our own beer and bring that to the venue which is another bonus. Additionally, the venue coordinator Staci was amazing to work with! She let us know exactly what was required of us and made sure we had what we needed. We honestly enjoyed our wedding so much and had the most fun we have ever had at a wedding so we were glad it was ours! We couldn’t have been happier that we chose The Barn at Stoney Hills for our wedding venue.

y as we envisioned with all of our closet friends and family being able to spend the entire weekend together at the venue with us and all our friends and relatives coming on Saturday to celebrate our wedding with us. What really makes The Barn at Stoney Hills stand out is all the thought and detail they've put into the venue and all of the equipment and decor that is included with the rental. They have so much awesome decor that is yours to use!! I loved being able to come up Friday morning and set everything up with the help of my family and friends and being able to have the rehearsal dinner right on site followed by yard games and a campfire with smores. The owners are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, Joni even ran out Friday night before our wedding to get the cord we needed to hook our laptop up to the TVs for our slideshow! We loved having the whole property to ourselves for the weekend and being able to set it up just how we wanted. It is a spectacular place for our wedding and we're so glad we chose to get married at The Barn at Stoney Hills!

nd timely in their responses. They allowed us to come visit the barn three times prior to our wedding. They also have all the decorations you could possibly need. The decor they have is organized and easy to find what you're looking for. That being said the venue is stunning on it's own and needs little if no decor.
The barn at stoney hills is beyond a wedding venue. It is a destination wedding in a sense. The entire wedding party is able to stay on the grounds Friday-Sunday. We had our rehearsal dinner on site Friday night and enjoyed the fire pits that the venue has to offer. It was truly a magical experience getting to spend the entire day before our wedding with all of our loved ones all staying on the same grounds.
The wedding venue itself it stunning. The grounds are kept immaculate. There was rain on the day of our wedding all morning, so we were up in the air of where our ceremony would take place. The entire crew at stoney hills was beyond gracious working with us to "wait out the rain". We did end up switching ceremony sites from our original plan but let me tell you, it was even better than we could have imagined.
The kitchen in the barn is great for catering services. They have all of the basic equipment. They have huge fridges to place the food in. Which is great seeing as how far out they are from whoever is supplying the food.
Our experience at the barn at stoney hills was magical. We recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Also they allowed our dog to come on the grounds and partake in the wedding - huge bonus.

On the wedding day, they handled weather changes with ease and compassion, and were prepared for it all. I would highly recommend this venue!!

One of the best parts of this venue is the full weekend offering. We arrived Friday to set up which I was SO thankful for! I had a few friends help and we got to relax the entire rest of the day, host rehearsal and grooms dinner on-site, and had so much more time to relax the next morning without scrambling before the ceremony. Our favorite memory of the whole weekend was being able to spend quality time with our family and friends for longer than you get to at a lot of normal venue locations. It was incredibly special.
I used quite a bit of the decor provided by the venue and didn't need to rent or buy much of anything. They provide so many pictures, layouts and checklists ahead of time, and offer enough beds for about 25 people to stay onsite (party & S/Os, family, etc). We hired a day-of coordinator, but honestly with all that Joni and their venue coordinator who is there day-of helped me coordinate ahead of time, she said she got bored!
There are three different outdoor spots for your ceremony - we decided to do our ceremony right outside the Barn and it was beautiful. All of our vendors and guests said it was one of the most beautiful, easy to work with venues and we could not agree more.
Additionally, there are a decent number of hotels, motels, resorts and airbnbs nearby (closest is about 20 minutes) and our guests were all able to find places that worked best for them.
Outside of all of this, I wish I could describe in words how kind, thoughtful and generous Joni and Randy are. You can tell how passionate they are about making your weekend a dream. My husband and I would recommend The Barn to anyone and everyone and I hope to visit again SOON for another wedding!!

We were so fortunate to be able to book a weekend at the barn. This venue exceeded our expectations in all aspects. I do not know of any other place around like this. The facility...
allowed us to “move in” on Friday and have our rehearsal dinner (great grilling station just outside the back doors of the barn) on site with all our wedding party able to stay in the farmhouse for the weekend and not have hotel expense. The fall colors at the farm were stunning; and the staff had been covering flowers to prevent them from freezing. Our photographer was able to get the most amazing outdoor photos. The farmhouse and barn are in excellent condition and everything is extremely clean. However the best comments I have are for the owners Joni and Randy and the venue manager Staci. They are the sweetest people! They were thorough in their job of making us feel at home for the weekend and attending to our every need. Anything we needed or wanted they were on it. For example when we were running out of beverage cups, Staci drove to the nearest town and got cups and did not let us pay for them. They also helped with our technology needs. They have beautiful linens and many decorations that are all included in the weekend package. I highly recommend this best kept secret in central Minnesota. Thank you Randy, Joni and Staci.
