I was super excited the days leading up because I felt that I had picked a great venue. The day before the wedding my friends and I were setting up. The entire day of set up, Tamra was constantly telling us how we should do it differently. I had tacos for my reception, she made me feel terrible by telling me how much of a mess my tacos are going to make. Even tho she knew prior to this what I was serving and if I pay money I should be able to serve whatever food I want! Tamra was nice enough to allow me to borrow her tablecloths. Her and I looked over them before using them because they had previous stains. I told her this was no big deal and we could just move the stains to where they could not be seen. I put tablecovers over the tablecloths also so they would not make a mess of them. Which I was told to go purchase the day before my wedding by Tamra, because I didn’t already have enough on my plate. After my wedding my mom washed the tablecloths so I could return them to Tamra. Tamra states they had more stains and dog hair? Ironically my mother and I looked over them and they only had the previous stains and the home does not even have a dog! After my ceremony was over I felt like I could not leave because Tamra was hoarding over everyone to make sure we didn’t steal her things. Everything that belonged to me was put in my bags where she was looking through them to see if I took her items. It is very upsetting for someone to accuse you of stealing especially on your wedding day! To top everything off, she handed my now husband a broom and made him sweep the entire barn after our wedding. This was repulsive to me and honestly was the worst part of this day. We paid so much money to be accused of stealing, clean up our own wedding and made felt like we were on edge our entire wedding day. My entire bridal party and a few guests made comments in regards to how Tamra was acting. I have spoke with a few past brides that have also had a bad experience. Bad reputations travel very fast in a small town and unless there are some major changes done by the owner, this venue is going to continue to have negative feedback.

side if you would like to have an outdoor ceremony. The inside is a beautiful area with hardwood floors, high ceilings with exposed beams and an upper deck for additional tables. The owners were so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed the entire time. And we were able to go multiple times prior to the day to make sure we liked our layout plan.

t that Tamara was there at the wedding the whole time, which isn't even the bad part yet, When it came down to wrapping up my day of coordinator put an item back in the storage room she has and instead of asking her what happened to it she comes straight to me asking me if I had seen it in a way that seemed as if she was accusing us of stealing without even checking the storage room first. next thing that happened is something else went missing as well and again comes to me well we go through security footage and find who got it and returned it. well prior to that we offered to go and buy another before we knew who had it and she kept denying it saying she bought it years ago and we wouldn't be able to find it even and kept repeating that to my coordinator. trying to keep the security money? hmmm. Needless to say my big day that was suppose to be happy and worry free turned into just that since me and my husband had barely enough money to pay for our honeymoon and if should would have taken that $500 deposit we would have been screwed. If i could go back in time i would have picked a different place. the only thing useful was the buggys that they drove me and guests around which could have been a phone call to come and help then leave not stick around the whole time. but no complaints against her husband and kids just her. everyone else was friendly and helpful and not lingering around. Update: she messaged me asking me to tag the barn in my wedding photos which i ignored since i honestly did not want to be on the page of the barn on facebook. a few days go by then she commented on my post again asking to tag the barn which I proceeded to delete which should have been a hint. The following day i notice that my album had been shared onto the barns page without my permission. i messaged her asking to remove the post nicely and she did and asked me how come and i told her i didnt want my pictures to be on the barn since i was unhappy with my expirience which she asked if it was something they did which i explained to her everything that happen in a nice matter and she proceeded to tell me i was wrong and kept arguing with me. Thanks to those who took the time to read my complaint

e DJ could connect to all the speakers right there, and that there was air conditioning. I highly recommend this place for weddings. Its gorgeous.
