The Barn at Tiffin Farm was our wedding venue for our 10-10-2026 wedding. Everything was perfect.
It was a bit touch and go with the weather on the day of our wedding, so we felt very vindicated that one of the reasons we chose Tiffin was that there was a great rain plan. We ended up moving our ceremony to be inside, and honestly, I think we ended up liking it even more than if it had been outside! Exchanging our vows on front of those huge open door presented the perfect backdrop. And we still got to be outside for cocktail hour and many other parts of our wedding. The backdrop was gorgeous!
Michael, Becca, and others were really great in helping us to make our day special. We did a lot of DIY for different components, so it made things way less stressful when we were able to bring things the day before during our rehearsal walk through.
One of the things we really loved about the venue was that the inside of the barn is naturally beautiful and does not require a significant amount of decorations to make it look beautiful like many other venues would require. The big hall had the perfect space and acoustics for fun dancing and we did not even need to buy a separate dance floor. Perfect layout too.
Everything was so efficient and so perfect! We highly recommend! Hopefully we'll be invited back to someone else's wedding in the future!
We held our daughter’s wedding last weekend at The Barn at Tiffin Farm. We felt the wedding was wonderful and everything that our daughter and her now-husband wanted. Michael the owner and Becca his representative made this event seamless. Their venue is beautiful and well thought out. Due to the weather we had to make a last-minute change to hold the wedding indoors. The change was handled quickly and easily. Having the wedding indoors was just as wonderful as the original plan of holding the wedding outdoors. Tiffin Barn worked well with all fn the vendors we used for this event.

The Barn at Tiffin Farm sits on a small, family-owned regenerative farm in Free Union, Virginia, twenty minutes northwest of Charlottesville. Red Devon cattle graze the pastures, wildflower meadows edge the fields, and the Blue Ridge Mountains fill the horizon. Newly renovated, insulated, and climate-controlled, The Barn is built to gather up to 200 guests comfortably in any season.
Your day has four settings. Exchange vows on the Ceremony Lawn, just steps from The Barn, looking out over pasture and mountains. Keep it open air or tent it, and power is on hand. Move to the North Hall Veranda for cocktail hour, with the pond in the foreground and a sunset over the Blue Ridge. Dinner is in the North Hall, 2,350 light-filled square feet with a glass overhead door that opens for an indoor-outdoor evening, two chandeliers, and four layers of dimmable lighting. Then the barn doors open onto the Main Hall, 2,500+ square feet under high ceilings, made for toasts and dancing. It also serves as a beautiful indoor ceremony site if the weather turns.
The morning starts in the Bridal Suite, a calm retreat with four vanities, a full-length mirror, a private bathroom, and coffee. The ground-level entry means no stairs for your hair and makeup team.
Every date includes the full package: exclusive use from 10 am to 10:30 pm (music included), cleanup until 11:30 pm, a 90-minute rehearsal the day before, an in-person planning walkthrough, a day-of venue manager, a parking attendant, and golf-cart shuttle service. Tables and chairs are included, from 200 cross-back chestnut chairs to farm tables, a movable bar, lounge furniture, and Adirondack chairs. Choose your caterer, bartending, and other vendors from our curated preferred list, or bring someone you love and we'll gladly consider them.
Pricing is simple, with one rate for the day and no surprises. Peak Saturdays are $10,500, Sundays start at $6,000, and micro weddings under 75 guests start at $6,000.

- Michael & Sarah LarsenOwnersMichael and Sarah Larsen are lifelong hosts. After meeting in graduate school at the University of Virginia, they married in 1991 and raised their three children. After 30 years of marriage, they moved to Free Union, Virginia, to start a regenerative farm. At Tiffin Farm, they care for a herd of Red Devon cattle, tend an orchard and gardens, and host elegant events in The Barn at the heart of the property. Michael and Sarah love meeting couples and welcoming them to Tiffin Farm. Along with the rest of the Larsen family, they hope your wedding day here is the first of many cherished memories in your life together.
