Surrounded by rolling pasture and set on the backdrop of the Blue Ridge mountains, the Barn at Tiffin Farm is a wonderful location for your celebration. Our newly renovated barn offers an elevated and authentic wedding experience in the heart of our working family farm. With plenty of room for up to 200 guests, the Barn at Tiffin Farm is a versatile space with excellent rain and cold weather options. Enjoy a reception dinner, rehearsal dinner, or farewell brunch in the North Hall with your guests. Guests also enjoy lounging on the North Hall patio around a fire throughout the evening as the sun sets over the Blue Ridge mountains. With high vaulted ceilings and easy access through our magnificent barn doors, the Main Hall is ideal for a dance floor and band setup. Enjoy an indoor-outdoor experience throughout the evening. There are also 2 bathrooms located off the Main Hall for your guests. Our ceremony lawn is located directly in front of the barn. You have the option to choose the backdrop of your ceremony! Set your ceremony on the backdrop of pastoral views, mountain views, or in front of our modern and iconic barn. The Bridal Suite is an elegant and comfortable space to prepare for your special day. Wait with your wedding party in privacy inside the barn with easy access to bathrooms and mirrors. You can access the Bridal Suite as early as 10 am on the day of your wedding. We provide a large staging area for your caterer to use throughout the evening. We are thrilled you are considering the Barn at Tiffin Farm for your wedding celebration.     Michael and Sarah Larsen are lifelong hosts. After meeting in graduate school at the University of Virginia, they married in 1991 and raised their three children. After 30 years of marriage, they moved to Free Union, Virginia, to start a regenerative farm. At Tiffin Farm, they care for a herd of Red Devon cattle, tend an orchard and gardens, and host elegant events in The Barn at the heart of the property. Michael and Sarah love meeting couples and welcoming them to Tiffin Farm. Along with the rest of the Larsen family, they hope your wedding day here is the first of many cherished memories in your life together.

We had the absolute BEST wedding at Tiffin Farm! We honestly could not have found a better venue. The owners, Michael and Sarah, are by far the some of the nicest people we’ve ever...
met. They were so accommodating and made sure our day was nothing short of perfect. We had our wedding in March and with the weather being so unpredictable, we opted to have our ceremony inside, along with the reception. We had more than enough room and never felt crammed (we had around 100 guests, but definitely can accommodate way more). Thankfully, the weather was warm and we were able to get photos down by the pond, which has the most extraordinary scenery. There really isn’t a bad spot to take a photo on the property, everything is so stunning. Highly recommend this venue if you want something modern, yet elegant with some country edge!

al in helping us make our vision for the day come to life. They were so knowledgeable and prepared that we were really able to enjoy our entire wedding day. The venue itself is so gorgeous, and the view of the blue ridge mountains was breathtaking. Everywhere you looked, there was beauty to soak in! The bridal suite was also beautiful and so functional! We are so grateful that we were able to have our wedding at The Barn at Tiffin Farm. My husband and I will treasure the memories we made there forever. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and we can't wait to make it back to The Barn one day to visit their brewery and reminisce on the day we said "I do!"

From the bridal suite, to the main space, to the exterior there is not a detail missed. I would recommend this venue to anyone in the Charlottesville area!

r pre-selected vendors that were carried over from another venue that fell through at the last minute. Michael was very hands-on in ensuring that every detail was exactly how we had planned, and stayed up until the start of our party getting things in place (and was even there after to help with cleaning up at the end of the night). He was easy to work with, flexible and kind, and made it feel exciting to be celebrating on his property.  The aesthetics and location are stunning, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to bring our loved ones together and celebrate. There is no vendor or venue we could recommend more highly than Michael at The Barn at Tiffin Farm! As a separate fun note, we went to visit The Barn at Tiffin Farm prior to our event date and were able to sample some of their craft beers which are delicious! We can't wait to go back and hope more of our friends will get married and celebrate at Tiffin Farm so we can be there for years to come.

nd incredibly functional — with plenty of tables, chairs, stylish lounge furniture, a large catering space, an elegant bridal suite, and beautifully maintained grounds. We had 200 guests, and there was ample space for cocktail hour, dinner, and a lively dance floor. Michael went above and beyond on the wedding day, even shuttling guests by golf cart from the parking area to the barn — such a thoughtful touch! It’s clear he genuinely cares about the couples he serves. Victoria was also great to work with and a fantastic communicator throughout the planning process. ichael and his team created a smooth experience for us to make the wedding day perfect. We loved the venue so much, we even changed our intended wedding date to be able to host the reception at Tiffin! The barn itself stayed cool even in the late July heat, provided plenty of room for our larger wedding, and was a naturally beautiful space inside and out. Not having much planning experience, Stephen and I had many questions. Michael and Victoria were very kind and quick to respond. This team went above and beyond to help us! You will not find a venue owner who is more caring and genuine than Michael. We will always recommend the Barn at Tiffin Farm to any couples we know getting married near Charlottesville.

Michael and Victoria were very communicative, answering questions quickly, and working with us when there was a scare of rain (the barn is big enough to host the ceremony which is great for piece of mind). the wedding we shot here there the space held many guests yet still felt quiet and intimate! The trees planted by the barn are still young so there will be more shade-cover in the future but the barn itself was very well air-conditioned - still, there is one old-growth tree a hundred yards or so from the barn which was great for family photos and escaping the mid-day sun. Despite threats of storms the day we were here, the venue owner was communicative and flexible as the planning staff decided to hold the ceremony outdoors, and while we endured a short sprinkle during the service it led to beautiful photos!

Lovely space for bride and her party to get ready. Catering staff loved the kitchen facilities. Plenty of thoughtfully placed outlets for outdoor and indoor sound. Kind, excellent staff--so helpful in planning stage and on day-of. On-site staff day-of helping direct park and generally providing a great sense of support. Most epic part: huge barn doors close after bridal party exits barn to walk down the aisle and then re-open for a what feels like a cinematic bride reveal. Stunning and profound. Couldn't recommend more highly!

and were engaged only 7 months prior. The turnaround was tight, but this venue made our dream wedding happen. The Barn at Tiffin Farm gave us a thoughtful and intentional tour, sent us documents in a timely fashion, answered endless phone calls and emails from vendors, allowed us extra time for set-up, and wanted to be involved in the wedding planning process. Michael, the owner, is a man of integrity, patience, and hard work. He helped the entire day of the wedding without question. His wife and another staff member, Victoria, also jumped in to help in any way they could. We are highly impressed by their professionalism and flexibility. Our wedding day is one we will never forget. Getting married here would be a gift to you and your guests!

ing your wedding the best day ever! We were lucky and got to see this venue evolve into a very up scale wedding venue. The bride’s room is beautiful and a lovely place to spend the day getting ready for the best day of your life. The event rooms are just perfect, and all our friends raved about the uniqueness of the barn. We found the setting picture perfect for a beautiful wedding inside or out. I know this is going to be one of the hot new venues in the Charlottesville area.
