The separate bridal and groom suites were a complete game changer. Being able to get ready on-site and simply walk to the ceremony made the day feel effortless and stress-free. Every space at The Barn is beautiful, but the bridal getting-ready room was my favorite — the natural light created the most breathtaking portraits. Our private first look behind the bridal and groom suites was the quiet, meaningful moment we needed together before the ceremony and celebrations began! Betsy was incredibly responsive from day one. She went above and beyond to help, even sharing endless vendor recommendations when I struggled to find availability while planning a wedding in just 10 weeks. You’d think that would be a nightmare, but her support made the process seamless. Betsy and her family genuinely want your day to be spectacular — and they pour their hearts and souls into making that dream a reality. The Barn at Willow Brook offers the most breathtaking upscale barn with beautiful hanging drapery and greenery, Chiavari chairs, a mix of farm and round tables, corn hole, a fire pit, dessert and welcome tables, the cutest drink cart, complete privacy, stunning landscaping and photo backdrops, a beautiful bridal suite and groom’s quarters, and much more. Not only was the venue perfect but the owners are the absolute sweetest! I can’t say enough great things about them. Betsy and Daryl treat their clients like family and continued to put us at ease every step of the way. Betsy was responsive to every single one of our questions and was invested in making this day perfect for us and perfect it was! Her preferred vendor list helped shape our dream team and we feel like we made friends during the planning process. However, what we loved most about Willow Brook were the people. Betsy & family made our wedding so incredibly special. From Day 1, we felt like and were treated like family. They went above and beyond to answer questions, offer suggestions, and make sure that our big day went smoothly. Our day was perfect and went off without a hitch. We’ve had so many family and friends rave about how great the experience was and how fantastic the venue is. Willow Brook was truly the best decision we made- besides saying “I do” 😊.

married here) After touring tons of other wedding venues in the area and feeling like any could have worked, we were relieved to finally find a gorgeous place that was actually upfront about their policies and gave plenty of details on the website - so we quickly reached out to Betsy (the owner). She was able to schedule a tour with us the next day, and Justin and I had that divine feeling that this was our place. We signed our contract in less than a week! Even before we were officially signed, Betsy and Kelly (Betsy's daughter, our coordinator) provided so much information about their favorite caterers, florists, DJs, photographers, and other vendors, and we really felt like we could see a full picture of what our wedding would be like, what our investment would entail, and what kind of support we'd receive throughout the process. Again, we were able to see all these estimates together BEFORE signing... By then, it was an obvious choice! I hope there's a spot to include a photo with my review, because my wonderful photographer captured a sweet moment of me on wedding day with Betsy and Kelly. My husband and I had a first prayer prior to the ceremony, but we knew we wanted to save our first look for my walk down the aisle... So Betsy and Kelly each took one of my hands and walked me out to him so I could keep my eyes closed. It's honestly such a great picture of how the whole wedding planning process went. Betsy and Kelly were so quick to jump in and guide us through every step of the process. Betsy sat with me right before I walked down the aisle with my dad, and her presence and encouragement were the greatest gifts I could have received in those butterfly-filled moments of nerves before taking my long-awaited steps to my husband! I mentioned all those vendor recommendations that Betsy shared with us before we booked Willow Brook... With those recommendations, we wound up with an absolute DREAM of a vendor team on wedding day! Many of our vendors had already worked together on several previous weddings, and they were so proactive and helpful with every little detail. They truly rallied around us and our families to make the celebration the best experience of our lifetime. We've even stayed in touch with many of them over the last few months! We make jokes that we'll have an anniversary party here again someday in the future, but even if that idea's just a distant dream, I absolutely KNOW we'll be spending some time with this sweet family for years to come!

y popular, at least according to everybody’s fake life on Instagram; and entrepreneurial-minded Virginians are more than happy to cater broader DC-area denizens’ desire to cosplay a day of beautiful scenery outside of their small, overpriced living spaces, almost none of them offer this fanciful opportunity with genuine merriment and care. The Barn at the Willowbrook offers this and more, all without being the equivalent of a 20% down payment on the aforementioned overpriced tiny homes that dot the DC-metro area. When we first went to go look at the Barn at the Willowbrook, we were exhausted and jaded. Want a barn theme? Great, so is everybody else that you didn’t know you were in competition with! Looking for something affordable? There’s a really nice barn jutting out of a developing strip mall that only needs some creative camera angles to make this comical contrast in composition not look absolutely bizarre. Want to forego the strip mall aesthetic? Awesome. I hope you’re from old money and can take breaks from going to Bora Bora every other weekend. Beyond these extremes, you’ll find that almost every place has set-in-stone contingencies that make what would be at first blush appealing absolutely a non-starter. Not the Willowbrook, though. When we first visited, we were met by a family that immediately made us feel welcome and walked us through what the Barn and surrounding area could offer us for our wedding. Their photo book was not just a means to demo their facility, they had stories behind each photo; and when we proposed a given idea, their eyes would light up with excitement, recognition, and a photo of a couple’s wedding day. This family knows what they’re doing, they care about what they’re doing, and they’re excited by what they’re doing. Nowhere else offers this, and our tired search finally ended after meeting this beautiful family. This care and attention also extended to their recommended vendors. Not that either of us has experience in procuring vendors for a wedding but being received by pleasant surprise and happy anecdotes was reassuring to hear. What was resoundingly common throughout every story was that the family who run the Willowbrook are genuinely good people who know exactly what they’re doing. Every single interaction; every single random question; every single concern was always met with a quick response and a good. I don’t think we can stress this enough: what really makes this an excellent place to plan your wedding is the family. Thank you to the Madden family for making our wedding a wonderful memory that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

They are SO kind, thoughtful, professional and overall are wonderful at what they do. They were just as excited about our day as we were. knew I had to see it in person. As soon as I got out of the car, I had tears in my eyes. My fiancé knew right away that I finally got that feeling! The barn is stunning! It is modern and beautiful on the outside and inside. It is well kept and the grounds surrounding the barn have stunning views. Inside has the prettiest greenery and lighting. It has such a rustic vibe. When I met the owners, Betsy and Daryl, they gave me the warmest welcome. They were eager to answer any questions and discuss our vision for the wedding. Then they showed us the bridal and groom suites. I was in love! We ended up booking the overnight package so we could sleep at the venue the night before. This was the best decision! We were able to come to the venue the day before and get organized. Sleeping in the venue the night before helped me feel less rushed the day of. My bridesmaids and I had a blast! The bridal suite is adorable. My girls and I enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck while listening to the cows moo nearby. It was the perfect way to start my wedding day! My fiancé enjoyed the sauna in the groom's suite and he felt like he was just as spoiled as I was. Betsy and Daryl do a great job making both spaces equally amazing, because the groom should feel just as pampered! Our wedding day was incredible! Everything went to smoothly and my guests raved about how beautiful the venue and the farmland around it was. Betsy was more than happy to answer any questions I had leading up to the wedding. She was fast to get back to me and recommended vendors in my price range. She helped our visions come to life. When we decided to move the ceremony inside at the last minute due to the heat, she was quick to help with ideas! The transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was seamless. Kelly and Betsy made our wedding day such a breeze and I never had to worry about where people were or what we should be doing next. They worked with all of our vendors on the day of so we could focus on getting married and enjoying the day with our family and friends. Daryl was instrumental in helping us pack up all of our items at the end of the night and was kind enough to let us come back and pick things up the next day. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding experience!!

Willow Brook because it was such a beautiful and intimate space. Not only is the barn breathtaking, but the groom's quarters and bridal suite were truly the nicest I've seen! We received so many compliments from our guests on how stunning the barn was, and I know the event was only a success because of the Madden Family working magic behind the scenes. , kind and caring and we fell in love with this venue as soon as we entered the barn doors the first time. After visiting many other venue options in the NoVa area prior to this barn, when we entered Willow Brook, we ended our search. We knew it was the one and instantly felt the “wedding vibes”. The barn is so gorgeous as is. They have beautiful chandeliers, sparkly twinkle lights, a greenery photo wall, bar cart, wine barrels, chiavari chairs & white foldable chairs, signage, and greenery garland that is already hanging places, which means we didn’t have to bring any of that in! We didn’t feel like we needed to dress the barn up much more because it was already so beautiful by itself. We did want a cross for our ceremony, and they brought in a beautiful wooden cross for us from Reston Bible Church, free of charge and free delivery/setup. This meant so much to us! We also brought our own mistletoe, Christmas trees, and winter wreaths to hang on the barn doors. The bridal suite and grooms quarters were unbelievable and so spacious!! Like nothing we saw at any other venue! My groom was so happy that he too, had a fun place to hang out, play shuffleboard, eat, drink etc. and us ladies had so much fun in our adorable suite! We got married in January, so our whole wedding was indoors, but we did have the outdoor fire pit on for guests and they enjoyed that. We did cocktail hour upstairs on the indoor balcony while our caterer flipped the space downstairs for the reception and it worked out really well! Seamless. We absolutely adored Betsy! She had the most speedy responses any time we reached out to her, which we greatly appreciated. The barn had amazing vendor recommendations as well. Betsy & Daryl went above and beyond and were so detail oriented. Even asking me what kind of coffee creamers I wanted in the bridal suite the morning-of. We received countless compliments on just how beautiful the venue was from our guests. People seemed just stunned. They truly created a story-book fairytale wedding for us and we are so grateful we found The Barn At Willow Brook! It was the perfect day and we wish we could experience it again and again!

It’s the perfect mix of rustic charms and modern chic that will win over any picky bride. I never imagined myself having a “barn” wedding but the interiors are so sophisticated and new that it didn’t feel like we were having a wedding “in a barn on a farm”. Our guests are still in awe at how beautiful the venue was. Even on a cold November day, the landscaping and hills around the barn remained pretty as ever. The vibes are immaculate when the sun sets and the venue gets so cozy and intimate. My only regret? Not getting the package with a stay in the bridal and grooms suite the night before!! The suites are nothing short of luxurious and accommodating and as an interior designer I am still obsessed with every detail built on the venue. Now, I haven’t even gotten to the best part about The Barn at Willow Brook and that is having the pleasure to work with such wonderful people - owners Betsy and Daryl are such sweethearts (like literally they were high school sweethearts) and are amazingly accommodating to our every needs. Then there’s Kelly, who is their daughter and the in house wedding planner/coordinator who is just as wonderful and so knowledgeable when it comes to executing the perfect wedding. Within one day, I needed to have a traditional Vietnamese wedding, lunch, a western ceremony with Filipino traditions, and a reception party. Kelly was able to squeeze in all of that into our timeline along with all our photos AND we had enough time to eat, drink, and party!! She might have been more excited for my wedding than I was! Another amazing person on the WB team is Kaila, who coordinated the day of my wedding to a T. Kaila stepped in last minute and was a superstar at coordinating with my crazy family LOL. There has been multiple times where I was very close to going bridezilla but Kaila always stepped in to assure I will have an amazing wedding experience and I did! Overall, they are the most professional, passionate, and caring folks and I’m not sure if my wedding experience would have been the same if it wasn’t for the WB team. I cannot rave enough about how perfect The Barn at Willow Brook is. So many guests came up to my husband and I and told us “this is the best wedding I’ve been to all year”. So a word of advice for all my picky bride-to-be’s…as soon as he pops that question you need to RUN not walk and book with The Barn at Willow Brook because I can assure you that they are booked until the next year.

Additionally the onsite Bridal and Groom's suites are a dream come true! They are spacious and beautiful, making it easy to stay calm and relax on the morning of the wedding. Overall my experience planning and hosting my wedding at the Barn at Willow Brook was FANTASTIC and again, I highly recommend this venue for anyone's wedding. Thank you!

ere I’d want my wedding. The day I drove by with ny further mother-in-law, the Maddens were celebrating family birthdays. Daryl stepped out to show us the barn. I planned a tour with Betsy the next day. Betsy was always so responsive while I finalized my decision to go with the barn. The list of vendors they provided made the planning process so much easier! We were able to use Kelly as our day of coordinator. She did more than just day of answering questions along the way. If anything went wrong day of, I have no idea because she was on top of everything! The day after our wedding, Betsy called me because we had left our vow books behind. These obviously meant a lot to us and we were so thankful she did. I highly recommend the barn at willow brook and will be back for anniversary and family pictures in years to come!

You barely need to decorate because the white draping, lights, and hanging greenery make the space feel so beautiful and complete. The moment we walked into the barn during our tour I knew we had to have our wedding there. I highly recommend booking Kelly as your day of coordinator as soon as you book the venue! I spent a year and a half planning and she was so sweet and helpful the entire time. She always responded quickly and answered all 1000 of my questions. I also highly recommend doing the one night package. This allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner on site, and gave us time to put out a few decorations before going to bed. It was so fun to have all of my friends and my mom stay on site with me the night before the wedding. This venue is worth every penny! You will have the most gorgeous wedding here!

armhouse wedding venues. This one immediately came up and without even seeing it in person, we knew it was the one! We contacted Betsy who was extremely responsive and scheduled a time to take a tour. Upon pulling up, our mouths dropped and we smiled from ear to ear! It was breathtaking, beautiful, and everything we anticipated it to be! Betsy greeted us with excitement, enthusiasm, and you could immediately feel the love she has for her clients and her venue. She was a godsend and just so helpful over the course of two years! She offered recommendations on vendors, stayed in touch with us, and also offered us to come back whenever we wanted! Our wedding was 10/1/22 and the only word I can use to describe it was PERFECT! Even with Hurricane Ian being forecasted to impact our wedding, Betsy was so optimistic and kept such a positive outlook! We rented the venue for Friday-Sunday and I only wish we could've stayed longer! The venue itself with the surrounding scenery and landscaping was just stunning. The owners opened their home for the bridal party, which is on the same property. Upstairs you will find the bridesmaid suite which is gorgeous and girly, and the groomsmen suite in the basement is huge and luxurious, both extremely accommodating. Betsy and her family truly made you feel comfortable and at home while making sure she was only a phone call away if needed. Her daughter Kelly is an on-site coordinator, and although we had a different coordinator (due to us booking late), she was still along for our journey and answered any questions we had! This family is really the sweetest people you could get the pleasure of knowing. From their calm demeanor, being so genuine, and taking pride in helping others, you will have absolutely no hesitations when booking this venue! Our guests and family boasted about how beautiful the suites and venue both are, and are still giving us compliments on how perfect everything was. Some of them, who have had barn weddings of their own, stated that Willow Brook was much more beautiful than where they had theirs! This place was honestly a dream come true and we are so honored to have had this opportunity to have our wedding here. Thank you to The Barn At Willow Brook for making our vision come to life, and truly making this once in a lifetime experience that was absolutely perfect! We cannot WAIT to come back and visit!! Until then, we will certainly reminisce and relive our wedding day through our photos and video!

ht this slice of magic would truly sell this paradise of a venue short and we're sure every guest and wedding couple of Willow Brook who's been fortunate to celebrate here can attest to this. It all started when we were touring venues around Leesburg. We felt drained, sad and frustrated that the other venues weren't able to work with what we wanted and often tried to make us sign contracts on the spot. I'm glad we didn't because Willow Brook was our last stop, where Betsy was willing to meet us late on a cold March day. Our mood changed INSTANTLY when we parked and just being at WB already felt like the answer to our wedding prayers. Betsy went over the amazing weekend packages they had and WB's willingness to accommodate to, and fulfill, our desires and vision - which was exactly what we needed to conduct an early afternoon Vietnamese tea ceremony and an American traditional ceremony in the late afternoon. She was absolutely genuine about making sure this was just the right place for us and if we would be happy here. The accommodations also left us speechless! We went from seeing venues with no grooms suites to seeing the best groom suite Virginia has to offer. The venue is so stunning and everyone from our family to guests and vendors were in awe when they saw WB and still haven't stopped saying amazing things to us about it. But now let's talk about the Madden family -- literal angels on Earth. Betsy has the sweetest personality and made sure to be accessible, responsive and involved when it came to answering any questions we had about the venue and planning process. She literally makes you feel at home and part of the family. The love she radiates to her couples is pure and genuine and a love you only get once. And if you're lucky enough to book Kelly as your coordinator, you're all set. The planning process only gets better from here; she makes it easy and does everything to alleviate any wedding stress her couples have. When she tells you that the only thing you're responsible of doing on your wedding day is to enjoy yourselves and have the time of your life, she means it and will do everything to ensure that from the moment you meet her. Our Vietnamese tea ceremony was Willow Brook's first-ever ceremony of its kind, and the very first day after we signed our contract with WB (which was 18 months before our wedding), Kelly already took the initiative to learn about the ceremony's customs, the process, and its meaning without us ever asking her to do so. It showed us that not only is she on top of everything she does, but that she expresses the same level of involvement, dedication, care and compassion as her mom does. We know that planning one wedding is already a big task as-is, and she helped flow two ceremonies (and three outfit changes!) in one day so seamlessly. Daryl is also a friendly face you'll find around the venue and he's always doing things behind the scenes to help with your day. I can't imagine having a better team than them to trust to give you the best day of your life. Madden family. From the very beginning they were so kind, welcoming, and helpful and completely dedicated to making sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding. We got the Friday and Saturday rental which allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner on site on Friday and stay over night before our Saturday wedding. We're so glad we did! The Barn is gorgeous and furnished, which made it easy for us to not have to bring in a ton of decorations and rentals. The groom's suite and bridal suite are beautiful, clean, and well appointed--we all felt so luxurious getting ready and wished we could just spend a week there. We also hired Kelly as our coordinator and she created a wedding day timeline that our photographer told us was the best she'd ever seen! Everything was so beautiful and went smoothly, but the best part was getting to work with Betsy, Daryl, and Kelly. It's clear they love what they do and they made us feel special and cared for which set such a positive tone for the whole weekend. Book this venue! Worth every penny.

We had one hiccup at the end of the night with a different vendor, but the Madden family was incredibly supportive and even remained in communication with my parents in the days following the wedding to make sure that got resolved appropriately!

Also, having the option to stay the night in the bridal suite was absolutely priceless - so little stress morning-of having all my bridesmaids already in the same spot. The barn, unlike some others, is very elegant and doesn't feel like "a barn." It's great for all sorts of weddings! But there are a million other pretty barn venues in the Leesburg area - what really made Willow Brook stand out were the unbelievably amazing owners, Betsy and Darryl, that *literally* saved my wedding. Betsy was just a ray of sunshine after I landed without a venue after in the middle of COVID and spent the next year and a half making my experience the most amazing I could have asked for after so many setbacks in my wedding planning. She was so incredibly generous, responsive, kind, and accommodating, literally everything you could possibly want in a venue owner. Darryl was so helpful day of and even helped us with the trash at the end of the night. They are both just such lovely people and I would recommend Willow Brook just to have the opportunity to know them. A million stars/5. Definitely get married here.

Kelly was a lifesaver and she helped me through the entire day, making me feel ready and comfortable. She took care of literally, EVERYTHING. It was also a great place for the wedding party to relax while getting ready. We also worked with Kelly as our day-of coordinator and her guidance and organization made our day run so smoothly! She was very well prepared while also being flexible throughout the day. She knew the venue so well and asked us detailed questions during our venue walkthrough to make sure that she got everything just right. My family and wedding party were impressed with her poise and kindness throughout this entire process. The Barn at Willow Brook was our dream venue and made our wedding day that much more extraordinary. We received many compliments on the choice of venue, and it perfectly fit our wedding size. From the loft overlooking the dance floor to the lovely pergola they built for ceremonies, every part of the venue was gorgeous and charming. Betsy and Daryl went above and beyond with every detail and to make sure both days were perfect. The venue is beautiful and picturesque as well as the landscaping. The bridal sweet and groomsman suit has every little detail you can think of. The Maddens are a true delight to work with and are as excited for the bride and groom as the parents. Betsy and Daryl were amazing and quick to provide solutions and keep our stress levels low.
