The Barn on Boundary is a two-story barn in Eaton, Indiana, that has both rustic and vintage elements. Keep in mind that due to not being climate-controlled, we are only open April through November.
Facilities and Capacity
We have 3 event spaces and crystal chandeliers, The Barn on Boundary can host up to 300 guests. The venue, with 8,600 square feet, was constructed in the early 1900s and features oak beams, a hand-built bar (something your guests will talk about), a renovated hayloft, and original horse stalls; the exterior still features its original charm. With covered outdoor and indoor spaces, couples may choose whether they want to be closer to nature or just have a chance to catch a glimpse, given that the space also provides scenic views. The outdoor covered patio is a prime location for dining, dancing, or just having cocktail hour to get the party started.
Services Offered
You can do less of the heavy work with wedding planning given that The Barn on Boundary offers event planning to clients. They will host you and your loved ones for bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. One of the best things about The Barn on Boundary is that they have an open vendor policy, and couples who book them get exclusive weekend access. The barn manager will be present during your big weekend, and always willing to help. Services and offerings include:

The Barn on Boundary offers parking (with an attendant), a bridal suite and groom’s quarters (a great spot for the wedding party) and wheelchair access. What was once a utilitarian barn filled with old tractors, hay, and livestock, it has been entirely renovated to a stunning space you and your guests won't soon forget.

ial day. We had our ceremony in the loft under the beautiful string lights and danced the night away both inside the barn and outside on the patio. Not only was the building itself wonderful, but the décor in the barn all fits the vibe so well and is so cute that we had to do much less to decorate the space than we might have at other locations. Another great advantage to getting married at the barn was getting to work with the owner, Kristy. As an anxious bride/person in general there were plenty of things for me to worry about surrounding the wedding, but thanks to Kristy I could breathe easy about anything related to the venue. She is extremely detail-oriented and thought of EVERYTHING, including a list of suggested vendors she has worked with and questions we would have never thought to ask our vendors. She knows her barn very well and is very clear with her expectations when you are using the barn, but at the same time was very relaxed and open to any ideas we had to make our day unique to us. On top of all of this, when the pandemic hit she allowed us to move our wedding date without any penalties. Twice. If you are looking for a wedding venue I cannot recommend The Barn on Boundary enough!!!

y stunning and a great investment!! The bridal suites are awesome and the natural light is great for getting ready and for pictures! It was awesome to be able to have the property from Friday to Sunday. It made wedding day so much less stressful as we were able to set up on Friday. Kristy is fabulous to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure your event is everything you want it to be and more. She is very flexible, always willing to quickly answer questions and a great collaborator for planning. She gave us a few great suggestions for ideas that we hadn’t thought of. Our guests loved the mini candles from @BoundaryCandleCompany that Kristy made as favors! Our wedding weekend at the barn was beyond perfect and everything we could have dreamed of and more. I highly highly recommend having your wedding at The Barn on Boundary!!!

here I wanted my wedding to be. Kristy is amazing and was so easy to work with. She responded immediately and was always available. I felt she went above and beyond what I ever expected and was so helpful having to navigate planning a wedding during the COVID pandemic. The barn has so much character and doesn't require too much added decoration. The bridal sweet is beautiful and a great area to get ready in. The weekend of the wedding, Kristy was so helpful. She helped with setup, parking, lighting candles, etc. Side note - she makes her own candles and they smell amazing! Can't get enough praise for this venue! They truly made my day so special!

my initial meeting with Kristy after admiring all of the pictures online, I realized that the pictures didn’t even do it justice. Every single detail in the barn fits the mold, from the carefully strung lighting to the available to use miscellaneous decor. Kristy was always available and responded quickly to any questions we had throughout the planning process and went above and beyond the entire weekend to ensure that our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. I can’t say enough about the beauty of the barn, but even more so, I cannot express how invaluable it was to have Kristy and her team there every step of the way. ed at the Barn on Boundary we quickly knew that this was the dream venue we had been searching for. The large size allows your guests to be comfortable all evening long, the multiple ceremony options allows you to personalize your wedding day and the endless options of vendors makes it easy for every couple to stay within budget. The owner, Kristy has decorated and restored the barn so beautifully that there is little need to do anymore decorating- for me this made planning my wedding significantly less stressful. Also, Kristy is there for you through the whole process- from planning to set-up, and even throughout the wedding day. She always keeps her barn in perfect condition-- always clean and smelling wonderfully. Kristy also provides a list of every type of vendor to help brides who may not know the area or need help finding vendors. Kristy is so much help even during the day off-- she even is supplied with Smarties to help calm young flower girls. The combination of the beautiful venue, endless options and a wonderful owner you can not go wrong when you choose this as your venue!

The Barn was the second venue we visited, and the minute we walked in and saw the lights, chandeliers, and decor, we both fell in love. The Barn in truly so unique and everyone at the wedding let us know that they have never seen anything like it. Kristy is so wonderful to work with and was so helpful throughout the whole process; from my random questions via text, to helping me figure out a layout, to the day of the wedding, she was hands-on. I will be recommending The Barn to everyone!
