e. Everything about the venue felt so whimsical yet cozy. The bridal suite downstairs is the perfect space to get ready & take photos. We held our ceremony outside to the back of the barn, our cocktail hour on the back porch and our reception inside. From the pews and views for the ceremony to the twinkle lights and décor for the reception, it was beyond compare. Jackie decorated so beautifully. She literally took care of everything for me. Favors, table setting, ceremony arbor, sweetheart table, etc. Truly – I couldn’t have imagined anything better. Plus, she is the most genuine and caring person, it felt like we’d known her for years. If anything went wrong during the night; I didn’t know about it. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so memorable. We could not recommend the Barn on Hyder Creek enough, and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It’s impossible not to have a beautiful, love-filled weekend here!

the first place we looked at for a wedding venue and the last – we didn’t need to look anywhere else we knew it was going to be perfect from the moment we walked in. Jackie is so helpful and responsive throughout the whole planning process and right through to the last minutes of you leaving your wedding the night off. The grounds and everywhere you look made for the best photos, you have to see it in person to really appreciate how wonderful your event will be when you have it here. The Barn on Hyder Creek made our wedding day everything we could have dreamed of. Words cannot express how grateful we are for Jackie, her husband, and her team for making our wedding day so special.

ic elegance and spacious luxuries that it was hard to leave. The owner, Jacelyn Kelly, could not have been any kinder or more accommodating through every step of the process, and even helped us set up and clean up! We recommend Dyn’s Cider Mill on property for donuts and drinks— whose owners, like Jackie Kelly, are also salt-of-the-earth kind of folks. Bocca Osteria from Cooperstown catered our event and everything was absolutely delicious. They had matching wooden chafing dishes that looked spectacular and elevated the style even further. The Barn is stellar in all regards—words fail to describe its magical ambience. Let it suffice to say you’ll be counting your lucky stars ( figuratively and literally—just walk outside onto the gorgeous deck!) to rent this charming venue for any event. I would do it again in a heartbeat. My family will be talking about the farmhouse chic for years. A million thanks, Jackie!
