The Barnett on Washington is absolutely beautiful space and somehow that's only half of what makes it so great. The staff there made our wedding day so easy and seamless. We wanted to take a look at the space the day before to practice some choreography (we were coming from out of town), and they were extremely accommodating. Thank you Joe and everyone at the Barnett for making our day amazing!

We had our wedding reception at the Barnett on March 29th, 2025. We had about 150 guests. Having our reception at the Barnett was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we met Joe and Vicki, we knew that they had our back and would make the whole process as seamless as possible. They were incredibly responsive over email. Joe met with us multiple times in person to go through every detail about our event, discuss different floor plans, and give his professional opinion when we asked for it. On the day of the wedding, he coordinated with our vendors and happily responded to our every request. The bartenders were wonderful and let us bring some of our own ingredients for the signature drinks. We found the venue to be the perfect size for our wedding guests. The dance floor was always filled. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and they enjoyed utilizing the upstairs balcony and the outdoor seating. The multiple spaces offered by the Barnett help make it a very pleasant venue for your guests. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

The Barnett is housed within a building on the National Historical Building Registry with a rich history dating back to 1921. This gorgeous venue beautifully maintains its original Spanish mission-style elegance while seamlessly incorporating modern amenities. For couples toasting their engagement and seeking a memorable location for their ceremony and reception, Barnett on Washington promises a truly enchanting and alluring evening. From the moment guests step inside, they are transported by the venue's captivating atmosphere. Additional services such as valet, setting up the Bronson House Patio for cocktail hour, early access, and additional party hours are available as add-ons to customize the wedding experience. Barnett on Washington provides an elegant and historic backdrop for couples to celebrate their special day.
The Barnett offers distinct packages for ceremonies, receptions, or a combined celebration. The ceremony package includes a two-hour rental, access for clients and vendors prior, a venue manager, and set up of ceremony chairs. It also includes the use of the in-house sound system, access to the Barnett Room and get-ready lounge, and a one-hour rehearsal. For receptions, packages include a four-hour rental with building access and an on-site venue manager. Tables, gold Chiavari chairs, and access to the great hall, cigar lounge, bridal lounge, balcony, and lower patio are also included. There are also combined ceremony and reception packages.

Having my wedding with Barnett was the one of the best decisions I made. They were so easy to work with, willing to get us what we wanted/needed, and all around great to work with....
We got so many compliments about how amazing the venue was and how great the staff were! Our friends are also considering using Barnett for their venue too, that’s how great it was. They had so many perks that most venues don’t offer, like drooling decor off early and picking it up later, bride AND groom rooms, tap beers, AND got us beer we requested that they didn’t have. Vicki and Joe were amazing and I cannot recommend this venue more!

The spiral staircases, the beautifully designed custom bar, the balcony- this venue is a must-see! Joe and Vicki truly know how to plan an event without a hitch. oment we stepped foot in the Barnett we knew it was going to be the perfect venue for us, and it did not disappoint! I wish we could relive our wedding night over and over. Our guests could not stop raving about every last detail, and the Barnett staff plaid a HUGE role in that - they don’t just provide a space to get married in, they help make sure every last aspect you’ve planned goes off without a hitch so you can enjoy your wedding without having to be the one to set up, do the room flip, etc. Because of the communication and interactions with their staff prior to the wedding, I had total confidence in them on the day of, and I didn’t have to do anything but enjoy our day. It was honestly mind blowing how they were able to partner with all of the vendors to set up, make sure our very large wedding party was in the right place at the right time, seamlessly flip the room from ceremony to reception, host our guests, and make us feel special and celebrated… just a masterpiece, and I remember taking a moment at the reception to look around and admire how beautiful everything was and what had been accomplished with the help of the team, and it honestly warmed my heart. I’m so happy we chose the Barnett and 1000% recommend them to anyone looking for a stunning, historic, intimate space, with a staff that will help you execute the wedding of your dreams!

our wedding plans multiple times due to COVID craziness, it was a stress-free process. I wanted a venue that would help guide us as we are busy people, but still let us personalize as much as we felt up to. Joe helped us come up with a timeline that made sense to us and then on wedding day, everything flowed seamlessly without us or our families having to orchestrate any of the catering or other venders or events. It is such a beautiful, classic space inside that simple decor goes a long way (such a budget-saver!) and the patio was perfect for cocktail hour. Was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out.

The team created an absolutely seamless transition between our ceremony and reception, helped coordinate our ceremony and so many of our details day-of, and were extremely adaptable to all of our bumps along the road. Joe also helped coordinate with many of our vendors to make our jobs easier. Not to mention, that the Barnett is absolutely stunning - we loved how it felt spacious but also intimate; plus, we really loved the many spaces and alcoves (balcony, cigar lounge, bridal suite) throughout the building. We got so many compliments from our guests - both in-person and livestreaming - with how beautiful our venue was. We highly recommend the Barnett to any engaged couples out there!

d making sure this venue would be the right fit for us. We customized our package with her and she accommodated every request we made. Once booked, we then worked with Joe regarding all of the small and final details. And let me tell you... Joe is FANTASTIC! He is very detail-oriented and he is a big reason why I had so little stress on the big day. Joe made me, a VERY Type A person, completely comfortable with having him take the lead on making sure all of my very carefully planned details were brought to life. All I had to do was bring my decorations beforehand and then pick them up the following day. He and his team took care of setting up and taking everything down. I can't think of a single detail that he was in charge of that wasn't 100% correct. If you're an anxious bride or groom, book The Barnett because you will enjoy your day so much more with their team on your side!

excited about the other venues we visited; that all changed when we toured the Barnett and met with staff at the Barnett. The facility itself is beautiful and breathtaking! (You really have to see it in person to appreciate it fully.) I loved the idea of the grand entrance on the staircase, the fountain, and option of using the outdoor patio space (particularly during COVID times). While we loved the facility, we enjoyed meeting with and working with the staff, specifically, Joe, Ashley, and Vicki. They are simply wonderful, accommodating, and helped to alleviate stress from a stressful event. They are willing to go above and beyond and answer any and all questions. I personally think the venue is important, but the staff are what truly help to make an event successful and allow you to enjoy the planning process (as much as you can) and the wedding day. We both would highly recommend the Barnett on Washington!!!

The day of our wedding Joe and Ashley did an amazing job keeping things running smoothly for the ceremony. They were all over the tiny details, from nudging the groomsmen to walk out when they missed their cue to making sure there were glasses of wine downstairs for the bridal party when we retreated after the ceremony. The bartenders also went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I (and all of our guests) had an amazing experience. The Barnett's beauty speaks for itself; the incredible staircase, the architectural detail, and the gorgeous bar all set the stage, and the staff make sure everything else goes perfectly for you.

Barnett on Washington is nothing short of AMAZING! This past weekend, my son was married here. Both the venue itself, as well as the service, was 5-STAR!!!!
Barnett feels, at once...
, intimate and grand. The 43-foot ceilings, the grand balcony and dual staircase make for a dramatic ceremony. Yet, the columns and beautiful earthy tones envelope you. Finally, the outdoor patio is quite expansive and, even on a chilly fall evening, this outdoor area with fire pit felt quite cozy.
I cannot say enough about Joe and the staff. The service was IMPECCABLE!! Joe’s wheels were continually turning, attending to every detail. Yet, for the guests, he kept things light and the evening unfolded like magic.

day is huge (ask any wedding vendor!) and I will tell you right now that Joe and Tabor are simply the BEST. They're friendly, more than willing to offer a helping hand, welcoming to all guests, timely and all around great to be around. Their entire staff from the maintenance man to the bartenders were just as kind and easy to work with. This helped my team immensely and also provided a warm and happy vibe in the space which made the day go by so smoothly. If we had a question, it was answered almost immediately and with a smile on the staff's faces. Barnett itself is just stunning as well. I felt like we were hosting a dinner party in Italy!
