Growing up in Surry, VA I've always known I wanted to get married here. Once I saw Anne and John created a wedding venue right down the road from my home, I just knew I had to get married there one day. The time finally came, I was getting married! I contacted Anne literally the next day. She will book a tour of the venue with you and get to know you and your fiancé to make sure you're the perfect fit for her venue and your vision. Anne is the best to work with no question about it! She makes you a list of what she does, the vendors she recommends, and what you need to do by set timeframe and with how I like to organize everything, it was so helpful! She will do check ins with you to see how the wedding planning is going, she will coordinate with your vendors to make sure they are all on the same timelines and she'll even take the time to read over your contracts, my catering tried to leave early due to arriving before set time in the contract and she nipped that in the bud so fast! She made sure they were to stay till set time they had listed and I'm just so grateful for Anne and John, I couldn't have had the smoothest wedding if it wasn't for them, they do a lot more than just give you a space to have your big day, they are your new friends or even family :)

Ann and John are absolutely wonderful at making sure that everything goes smooth and perfect for the bride and groom! The venue is just like a dream! Absolutely beautiful! Will recommend to anyone!

We got married May 12th 2018 at the barn and let me tell you- holy MOLY! Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, but Anne is beyond incredible. She made every single vision I had come to life even more beautifully than I imagined. I am so particular with detail, and Anne did everything over the top! She took the time to meet with me multiple times to discuss detail, show me decorations she has, gave me suggestions when I asked for them and mainly put my mind at ease. The day of was flawless and went off without a glitch. Anne and her family worked their butts off in the scorching heat to make my wedding day a complete fairytale. I can’t rave enough about The Barns at Timberneck, Anne and her family. If you want a perfect wedding, look no further!
