The Barns of Lost Creek is a 40-acre farm and wedding venue just 45 minutes east of the twin cities in Beldenville, WI. We offer a lovely, rustic venue for your wedding/reception, with a large reception barn and beautifully landscaped grounds. With lots of room for you and your guests to roam, spending the day here with your family and friends will make your wedding memorable! The big barn has a large, open dance floor lit by six crystal chandeliers. A deck offers spectacular views, and our patio and grounds are scattered with vintage tables and seating, so your guests can relax or play games while you take advantage of the stunning photo opportunities around every bend. A separate dining hall and pavilion bar offer plenty of space to mix and mingle, and two dressing areas offer temperature-controlled rooms to get ready.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience having our Sunday wedding here. We had about 140 people and Mel helped out with anything anywhere she could! This venues beauty - pictures do not do it justice! Tour the venue & see how beautiful and unique it is! I cannot express enough how amazing it is! Even if you are not sure- just book a tour! I promise, you won’t regret it! Mel was so easy to work with and she has so many great suggestions as to who to use for other vendors too! She will also help make whatever your dreams are - come true!! Even my husband who everyone thought would never get married said the day turned out perfect and he was so impressed with the venue location!

We had our wedding at Barns of Lost Creek October 1st and this venue was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. Mell, Don, Amy, and all of our vendors were top notch and all went above and beyond during the planning process and day of. The space was huge and our guests had a great time exploring the grounds and all of the adorable buildings. It has the perfect relaxed, romantic vibe and the florals and greenery around the venue really enhance the beauty of this place. With so much help from the owners and the local vendors, we truly got to spend the entire day celebrating and spending time with our guests.

My partner and I got married at the Barns of Lost Creek in June 2023. Words can’t even describe how amazing our experience was. The owners, Mel and Don, are the most helpful, caring, and genuine people we have ever met. They treated us like family and were there every step of the way for us. They met with us multiple times prior to the wedding to go over setup and to walk through the day off. They helped set up the venue, directed guests, passed out delicious homemade appetizers, and were there to cover us newlyweds with a patio umbrella when we were hit with a torrential downpour. The venue itself is so beautiful we didn’t need many decorations. We brought some decorations ourselves and were able to rent the rest of our decorations from Mel and Don. We had planned to have our ceremony outside in front of the large tree, but the weather didn’t look like it would cooperate so we made the decision to move the ceremony into the barn. At first we were a little disappointed, but after we had the ceremony we realized how magical it was in the barn (multiple guests told us it was “magical” or “like a fairy tale”). We honestly think there wouldn’t be a bad place at this venue for the ceremony! We loved that there were multiple buildings we could utilize throughout the day. The happy hour/cocktail lounge was a perfect spot for guests to grab a drink between the ceremony and dinner. The dinner hall is charming and was very spacious for our 125 guests. The barn was perfect for the reception as it had plenty of room for guests who wanted to be on the dance floor (which was rocking all night!) or for guests who wanted to sit/stand and mingle. Overall, we couldn’t recommend The Barns of Lost Creek enough. Words truly can’t express how lucky we were to have gotten married here. We highly recommend!!!

Mell and Don are wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond in the planning process and on the day of to make our day special. They also made our appetizers which we thought were excellent and we heard many compliments on them. Mell and Don are so on top of things, very responsive, and very flexible on how we wanted to do things. We can’t say enough about how fabulous this venue and Mell and Don are. Book this place! You’ll be glad you did! We wish everyone as magical and fun of a wedding as we had.

What an absolute beautiful wedding venue! The buildings are decorated rustic inside and out, it's everything we were looking for in a venue. Out in the country on quiet roads. This venue is gorgeous and offers multiple spaces for gathering and for your ceremony! The trees and flowers make for stunning pictures. Mel and Don were absolutely amazing for our wedding. They made sure everything went smoothly, especially when the weather turned cold and rainy! They helped with set up and take down and made our day truly special.

We got married here in September and it is the most perfect venue! Mel and Don made setting up and the day of go by so smoothly. They were available to answer all of my questions and went above and beyond! As for the barns, they are absolutely beautiful, the decor and all the small touches didn't go unnoticed by all of my guests. I am continuing to hear about how cute and well decorated they thought the whole property is. The separate eating and dancing area really helped with the flow of the day as well as getting everyone into the larger barn for dancing. It was also easy to find a quiet spot to hang out with many of their small seating areas and areas to walk around. The real bathrooms were a huge plus since most barn venues we have seen have port-a-potties or trailer bathrooms!

The Barns of Lost Creek is is an absolute gem of a venue for a wedding/reception. The place is quaint and beautifully decorated. Additionally there is a lot of room for guests to mingle, play yard games and even visit the lambs and chickens! The best part of holding your event at Barns of Lost Creek is the service you receive from owners Mell and Don. They are truly the hosts with the most. They are accommodating, accessible and put your mind at ease before, during and even after the event. They also have all the supplies and amenities that you may need but it is totally up to you if you use theirs or bring your own. This makes holding your wedding/reception there not only beautiful and intimate, but also personal and affordable. Honestly, I don't think we could have picked a better place! Thanks Mell and Don!

It takes a truly special type of service for us to take time out of our busy lives to write a worthy review. We got engaged Memorial Day weekend. My now husband was convinced we had to get married this year so we set out looking for a venue. Saying I was stressed is an understatement! After looking at what felt like 100s of venues, we fell upon The Barns of Lost Creek. We toured it & absolutely fell in love! I was afraid I was going to have to settle on a venue that didn’t fit my dream wedding due to the time constraints. There were only a few dates left so we acted fast & booked for Sept. 2nd which meant we had about 3 months to plan! Yikes! The breath taking venue hooked us, but in the end, it was Mell & Don who made this entire fast & furious wedding happen so smoothly! They were professional, so easy to communicate with & just so helpful! & I needed all the help I could get planning a wedding in 3 months on my own! They offered guidance & advice. They were flexible & personable! I really enjoyed working with them; almost as if they were part of my family. They made us feel at ease & comfortable & always offered words of encouragement. Not to mention they were everywhere on the day of the wedding! They were bartending, meeting with vendors as they arrived, coordinating & helping to set out appetizers & probably much more behind the scenes I don’t know about! We really could not have done this without them. What more could I girl ask for? Gorgeous dream wedding venue & amazing people to work with! I am recommending all of my family/friends to their Barns & I, myself, would love to have another event there! If you love outdoor, rustic barn weddings & wonderful human beings, book with Mell & Don - you won’t regret it!

The Barns of lost Creek is a hidden gem! The owners are great & extremely accommodating. The venue rental includes separate spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, & dance. Plus plenty of extra outside areas for your guests to sit & relax, play yard games, or even explore the farm (including farm animals). The best part is they have different rental options so can work with any budget. They also provide you with a great list of local wedding services (such as caterers & DJs), or you can bring your own. The venue is so nicely staged you don’t even have to decorate… but they love it when you do!

We got married early July this year and it was the best experience ever. Mell made the entire process leading up to our big day convenient and completely stress free. She was a huge help and even made our cake.(which turned out better than I could have ever hoped) On the weekend of our wedding Mell and Don were there helping the entire time and made sure everyone was taken care of. The staff was amazing! All of our guests loved the space and had a blast. If you’re thinking of having your wedding here DO IT! Not only is it absolutely stunning but affordable. Just had my wedding at The Barns of Lost Creek on Saturday and it was fabulous! Mell & Don (the owners) are absolutely incredible. Not only is the venue itself so cool and unique, but it comes with the help from these two wonderful humans. Mell & Don go above and beyond to make your day flow. She took care of setting out our cocktail hour food, helped transfer decor from the dining hall to the barn after dinner, kept the water dispenser full all night, etc etc. They were so accommodating! If you have your wedding here, please consider tipping them; they're basically built in day of coordinators. As for the venue, everything is in one place; large field for the ceremony, a dining hall, and a barn for dancing. There is two "getting ready buildings with air conditioning: one for the guys & one for the girls. Our photographer (Abby Dominguez) had a hoot with our photos because the venue is so beautiful she had many places to take gorgeous photos. We didn't need to overdue decorations because the place is already so cute and rustic! Lastly, the venue accommodates catering in food & beverages. With that being said, you can save TONS of money. We got all of our alcohol from Costco and saved a fortune. Anything unopened we returned and got our money back. We are SO happy we choose this venue!!!!!

If you are looking for a barn venue you can stop looking, this is it. This venue was everything and more. The charm throughout the whole property is perfect, we barely needed to decorate. The owners are such amazing people and are hands on helping. They offer so much more than a venue with food and dessert options depending on your wedding size. They were great with communication the whole way through and have a list of vendors who are also wonderful to work with. Forever will be thankful we found them!

My husband and I just got married at the Barns of Lost Creek. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Mell and Don are so laid back and accommodating. Throughout our wedding planning and the day of, they were so quick to help us with anything we could possibly need. They worked so hard in the background to make our day just absolutely magical. They set up all of our chairs and even made our cocktail hour and late night snacks! You can tell they are so passionate about what they do and work hard to make sure their couples have a wonderful day. Not to mention the barn and the property is just so beautiful. All of our vendors just loved the barns and said it was in their top 3 venues they had been to! I would recommend the Barns of Lost Creek to anyone getting married or looking for a venue for an event! It was perfect.

I have never taken the time to write a review before but this place more than deserves one! This venue was absolutely beautiful but it was truly Mellissa that sold the place. She was so accommodating and laid back (exactly what I needed as a bride!) Not only did she provide this venue but also offered to cater our food which played exactly into what we envisioned and was delicious. We planned our wedding in only two months and we couldn’t have chosen better with such a personable experience (we even got a card wishing us a happy first married Christmas!) I can’t say enough good things about the Barns of Lost Creek and have recommended them to every bride looking for a venue. 10/10!

When you first drive up, you can tell this is the perfect place for a barn/rustic style wedding. Mell and Don have made sure that every detail from the reception barn to the wedding prep areas will put you in the perfect mood for your day. Our photographer has so many photo opportunities due to the thought put into their layout, decor, and so much more! For ANY animal lover or little ones, there are lots of adorable animals to interact with! We cannot say enough about how much we love this place!

It’s honestly hard to find the words for how grateful we are that we chose The Barns of Lost Creek to host our wedding. This venue is obviously gorgeous, but what makes it really special is the owners, Mell and Don. They are so kind, accommodating, easy to work with, and they really thought of every detail. My husband and I found this perfect venue to make our wedding dreams come true! We worked with Mell (and Don) through a virtual tour from Las Vegas where we live, and from there were able to nail down details over texting and emails from afar. We did get to the venue twice before the wedding to see it in person, but it wasn't something crucial in the planning since she would quickly send all the measurements and details we asked for. We got to preserve our individuality and avoid so much frustration due to their flexibility, such as picking out our own caterer (not from a short list like other venues) and bring our own alcohol/have it delivered--although her list of suggested vendors was very useful as well. We were able to even use Mell as our cake and cupcake baker, and she was able to duplicate a favorite recipe with her farm-fresh fruit and match our Pinterest idea for the cake fondant....just wow!!! They went over and above to make sure every detail promised was right and were silently buzzing around the whole time we were there to make sure everything went perfectly. We really enjoyed every minute of the planning with them and the wedding day itself, and couldn't have possibly needed anything more! Cheers to Mell and Don at the Barns of Lost Creek!

Overall experience was amazing. The venue and location are beautiful and we were able to take beautiful photos. One recommendation for the venue is to check with bridal party when putting away items. There was some added stress in trying to find a few items but it all worked out in the end. Mellissa was very easy to work with and extremely helpful throughout the night. Strongly recommend this place for a wedding!!!

I can not recommend this venue enough! Not only is it absolutely stunning and affordable but the owners are a joy to work with! Don and Mell really go out of their way to make sure that everything on the day of runs smoothly so that the couple has nothing to worry about. Mell is also great about answering any questions that you have related to the venue/planning your day. It was great to have complete freedom when it comes to choosing your vendors, and they even provide a list of vendors that have worked well in the past, which made planning so much easier. We got so many compliments on the venue and its uniqueness. By far the best barn venue you could ever have your wedding at!

I can’t recommend this venue enough! After searching all over Minnesota for a beautiful yet affordable venue, I had nearly lost hope. Then a friend told us about Barns of Lost Creek, just over the border in WI! It far surpassed what I had hoped for and dreamed! With a GORGEOUS property, beautifully decorated barns, affordable price, and, as the icing on top, Mel was an incredible host! She was very accommodating, knowledgeable, confident, and helpful! She had extra decor, and so many connections for whatever we needed! My guests were glowing with praise as to how beautiful our venue was too! It was honestly the best day! I have nothing at all bad to say about this venue- if it has availability, book it!! You won’t regret it!

I can't say enough good things about this venue. The grounds, the vibe and Mell and Don make this place so special and unique. I am serious when I say that my wedding was everything that I wanted it to be and this venue was what made it so. This venue was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for! The staff was very nice and even more helpful! It had an amazing rustic feel which is exactly what we were after! When our cater (Chipotle) didn't provide everything that they said would be provided, the staff ran into town and got the things that were needed without me even knowing! The animals (pigs and sheep) that they have there as well as the gardens and hiking trails through the woods really kept our guests occupied after everything was done! They also have many things that you can rent from them for cheap instead of having to purchase them for yourself. This website does say that the max occupancy is 200, but Mell (the owner) told me that her permit only allows 150 as a max occupancy. However, she was really nice about us having just over the 150 maximum.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking!! It is a gorgeous venue. It took the photographer a long time to figure out possible photo locations since everywhere you turn is a photo opportunity. Mel and Don are the absolute best. They went above and beyond our expectations. They work so diligently to make sure your wedding day is everything you want it to be! It was also a bonus that the barn is so unique and decorated brilliantly that the need for extra decorations and accent pieces was minimal. I would highly recommend to anyone who is a looking for a barn wedding. Mel and Don truly take pride in making the wedding day goes according to plan! I couldn’t be happier that we chose this venue!

AMAZING, GORGEOUS, & KIND! Mell and Don are a fabulous, patient, and relaxed power couple. They so smoothly handled anything and everything we asked for. We actually had our true wedding at the barns October 10, 2020 and came back for our COVID Reception June 5, 2021. We had 130 guests show and everyone had a wonderful time despite it being 97 degrees (without dewpoint). Mell, Don, and their bartenders kept the ice water stocked and ready for all our guests all night. We had a 5 pm mini ceremony, dinner at 6:30, dance 8 to 11. Although I wish we had more time to dance, it was the perfect amount of time for the weather we had. Best wedding venue in Wisconsin! Don and Mel were so accommodating to our wedding during covid. They made sure all our guests felt safe and comfortable while maintaining the wedding vibes. On top of their great hospitality, their venue is absolutely stunning. The location hosts a large dining hall, barn and bar area as well as lots of outdoor space to roam around. Perfect for a summer or autumn wedding. Mel is also a spectacular baker who made all of our desserts. The barn also has onsite bathrooms and bridal accommodations which makes it an all in one package! We wouldn't want to have our wedding anywhere else and would recommend this place 100 times over.

We had our wedding here on October 3rd and it was so magical! Mell and Don are the most amazing people to work with. Their venue is fun, unique, beautiful, and we received so many compliments from our guests on it! Mell and Don also made the process of wedding planning (especially during COVID) a breeze! Mell answered all my questions in a timely manner and was extremely helpful in offering advice and suggestions when needed. This venue is literally a getaway outside the cities! My guests had so much fun exploring the grounds and seeing the animals on the property. Mell and Don were so great and they helped with everything possible the day of. The beauty of this property is that the landscape and surroundings did most of the work for us, I really didn't have to bring in any decorations which made it for a stress free event. This venue also allows to bring in your own vendors to make you wedding truly yours! If you're looking for a rustic chic venue that you can make your own, I would highly recommend The Barns of Lost Creek!

Mell and Don have such a unique, beautiful venue. After touring multiple venues, in particular barn venues, we toured The Barns of Lost Creek. We had attended a wedding there a few years prior and I remember thinking about how beautiful the wedding was a few years back. When we went back to tour I was blown away. They had added a new dining hall and the venue had such a special charm that was unlike anything else we had seen. I knew it was the venue for us. Flash forward to our wedding day... Mell and Don helped us from start to finish and EVERYTHING in between. The wedding was magical with plenty of beautiful backdrops for photos. Being a COVID bride, Mell helped us have our special day while still making it a safe day for us and our guests attending. The magic from the venue, love from the owners, and the hard work and dedication that has obviously been put into this venue helped make our day the most perfect day ever. I am so happy we chose The Barns of Lost Creek! They made our day the best!

We stumbled upon the Barns of Lost Creek as we looked for a new venue for our wedding as we had to alter our original plan due to covid. Honestly, this was the best thing that could have happened to us!! Mell and Don were incredible to work with. They were accommodating, flexible and incredibly kind. They were welcoming, supportive of us, and true allies, which can sometimes be a concern when looking for a venue as a queer couple. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! Wow! There is not enough good things we can say about our experience with the Barns of Lost Creek. Getting married in the middle of a pandemic was not something that we expected, but neither did anybody else! Mell and Don had to think quick on their feet about how they were going to move forward with weddings. They were amazing at keeping us in the loop and being flexible about what could be done for a wedding. They are great communicators and were always available to answer our questions or let us come look around the barn again. Speaking of the barn, this venue is AMAZINGLY beautiful. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside and it was just breathtaking. The dining hall is rustic but classy and is unique. From the moment I showed up on the day of the wedding I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They did so many things behind the scenes so that I wouldn’t have to worry about them and they helped bring my vision to life. In the end, we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here and we ended up having the wedding of our dreams! You can tell that Mell loves what she does and she loves the couples that she serves. If you have any doubt about having your wedding here, don’t! This was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Simply perfect ❤️

My husband and I were married at The Barns of Lost Creek a few weeks ago and our wedding was absolutely perfect! We loved the venue from the moment we toured it over a year ago. The entire property is so beautiful and thoughtfully decorated and we loved that we hardly needed to add any decorations. All of the flowers were in bloom for our wedding which made the grounds look and smell amazing! Mell and Don were a dream to work with as well! They are both so sweet and laid back which we so appreciated. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was not the easiest, but they bent over backwards to be as flexible as possible and help us in any way they could which took SO much stress off of us. I can't even express how thankful we are that they made wedding planning so easy! We would 1000% recommend The Barns of Lost Creek for any couple who is looking for a rustic barn wedding. Like all the other reviews here - this place was perfect. The first time I saw the place I loved it. The grounds and buildings are gorgeous - so much cute & rustic decor. My photographers could not get enough of all the wonderful photo opportunities. Mell & Don were sooo helpful throughout the ENTIRE planning process & helped things run so smoothly the day of. I have no complaints - it was the best day ever.

This was the perfect venue for us! We loved the atmosphere, and the owners are extremely helpful and accommodating. We dreamed of an outdoor wedding, and the location had multiple outdoor spots to choose from, but the barns were so beautiful that we wouldn't have been upset if weather moved our ceremony to be inside one of the barns. Decorating was super easy because both barns are already decorated beautifully. We especially loved this location because it accommodates ceremony and reception. We live in the Twin Cities, and found the Barns of Lost Creek easy to find and an easy drive. Overall, are experience was wonderful, we hope our friends have their weddings here because we want any excuse to go back!

A few weeks ago we got married at the most beautiful venue we could ever imagine. The Barns of Lost Creek spoke to us when we first visited in August of 2018. Since the very beginning we adore Mell and Don. Their attention to detail and wholehearted thoughtfulness will never go unnoticed. From the moment you pull in, it is obvious these two work their tails off. The grounds are beautifully decorated and landscaped. The antiques are artfully picked and you can't help but wonder the story and life behind them. The morning of our wedding, the weather was not ideal. It was cold, windy and rainy. This is something you obviously cannot control, but Mell and Don were prepared and ready for this prior to our arrival with heaters ready and warm. Throughout the entire day they ran around helping wherever they could. Don even waited outside the bridal suite and walked me to the main barn for our ceremony with a HUGE umbrella. I'm happy he didn't blow away! Our wedding day could have quite possibly been a mess if it weren't for these two. We are not the most organized couple but Mell and Don helped guide us since day one. Getting married at a venue that is created from love is truly special. The Barns of Lost Creek will always have a special place in our hearts. We had our wedding at The Barns of Lost Creek this past weekend and it was incredible. The venue itself is just absolutely gorgeous. We didn't even really buy any decorations because the venue itself is so incredibly beautiful! Mel and Don were SO helpful, amazing, and were there to answer any questions. The only reason why our wedding went so smoothly, stayed on schedule, and was organized was due to their coordination and all of their hard work. They made sure everyone was comfortable and made sure everything went well. It was the most magical day at the most magical venue and everyone should get married here!

I'm not normally someone to leave reviews unless I am absolutely blown away! I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and there are no words to describe it. I looked at over 10 venues and my husband and I knew right away we wanted The Barns Of Lost Creek four our wedding when we saw it. Mell & Don are fabulous to work with and everything turned out PERFECT! (Even the weather)! I HIGHLY recommend this venue :)

We had our wedding here and couldn't have been more pleased! The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. They don't just give you the property for a day they stay and make sure everything goes off without a hitch. Mellissa actually set up the cocktail hour food and the desserts to help out. The venue is beautiful and we received a ton of compliments and ppl asking how we found such an amazing place! The price is spot on seeing that it's cheaper than many places and you get a more beautiful and down to earth venue. It's perfect.

Finally getting to the review! Honestly, Tony and I could not have picked a better venue. When starting our wedding planning, we both knew we did not want anything traditional. The Barns were THE perfect venue for this! Beautiful grounds and buildings (with the dinner hall being my personal favorite) managed by the most amazing hosts - Mel and Don. Already beautifully decorated and full of vintage details, all we needed to do was to add a touch of our own. Both Mel and Don were extremely helpful before and during the wedding which made all the difference in the world as I turned out to be not quite as organized as I thought I would be! The guests LOVED roaming the grounds. The wedding party absolutely adored the getting ready spaces - and so did we! Our photographer had so much fun with all the rustic decor. I cannot express how happy I am we found the Barns and how I wish we could repeat the night all over again. :) THANK YOU Mel and Don, and the Barns crew for helping us have the best day of our lives. :)

Barns of Lost Creek is the perfect venue for anyone looking for a beautiful, all-in-one wedding venue. The Deyo's were so helpful leading up to the wedding and especially the day of. They helped with everything from set up to making sure our guests were taken care of and everywhere in between. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. The location is great (not great cell service, but I kind of liked that for our wedding day), the price was phenomenal, and everything was spectacular. I can't say enough good things about this venue!

My fiancé and I had our wedding at the Barns of Lost Creek about a month ago now. :) first of all, We cannot thank Mellissa and Don enough. From day one, these two made us feel completely comfortable and stress-free. They really did go ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations and we were amazed how kind and professional and outstanding they are. From the early days of planning, to the execution of the wedding they never once failed to accommodate. The space at this venue is incredible, and I loved how flexible Mellissa and Don were with letting us create our dream wedding. Also, we brought in our own food and Mellissa and Don went out of their way to prepare all the food and display it beautifully. Our friends and family also couldn’t believe how smoothly everything ran. This proves that they work incredible together to ensure that every moment of our special day ran perfectly. I easily get stressed out but on the day of my wedding, I didn't worry one bit - I knew I was in good hands at all times. We can't thank Melissa and Don enough for the time and effort they put into making this truly, the best day ever. To be honest... I miss them! Thanks for everything Mellissa and Don!! 😄

Mell and Don were absolutely wonderful to work with and have such a beautiful piece of land and property for any event! Our wedding in June 2019 was a fairy tale come true. Mell was always an email away (responds within a couple hours if not immediately!) to answer any questions and offer advice. I appreciated her feedback throughout the wedding planning to let me know what she has seen work best (and some ideas in which did not). We could not have asked for anything more beautiful and our guests were so impressed by the beauty of the barn and amenities The Barns of Lost Creek offers. From the moment we first toured the property, we totally fell in love with the setting, tranquility and sense of home Mell, Don and their abode bestow. Melissa & Don were amazing. When we wanted to check out the barn before the wedding to make sure we knew what setup we were having they were more than willing to make that happen! They were very responsive and there the whole time helping make sure the day was absolutely perfect. There are no negative comments I have. This was a dream come true, and the barn is breathtaking! Definitely recommend The Barns of Lost Creek.

The Barns of Lost Creek is simply amazing! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Minimal decorations are need because the venue by its self is enough for a beautiful day! The venue is absolutely beautiful but the best part of the Barns of Lost Creek are definitely Mel and Don. These two put your day first and make each and every detail go the way you want flawlessly. Being to other weddings where the venue price is often triple and there is no help from the owners. That is not the case with Mel and Don! They help in anyway you can are always available and willing to answer questions and will make your vision for your special day a reality! Love this venue and the couple that runs it! Highly recommended!

I grew up in the area and even though my family and I had moved away years ago, it felt like coming home having our wedding there. A magical day isn’t even enough to describe our wedding day! We looked at many barn Venues, But knew that Barns of Lost Creek was the one when we pulled up! Immediately we felt so welcomed by Melissa and Don. We walked the grounds and fell in love with the beauty it held within. Melissa was such a delight to work with, throughout the entire planning process. She always responded promptly with answers or solutions to our requests. Melissa and Don accommodated everything that we wanted, plus more! Their passion, attention to detail, warm hearts, and welcoming demeanors Made our day So rememberable. The new addition of their dining hall is breathtaking! With family and friends being so important to us, this was our favorite area to bring everyone together for a meal. Old barnwood tables large and small accommodated for our style of dinner, conversations, and mingling. The dining hall and barn is accessible for guest in wheelchairs, and has real bathrooms! This was also a plus for us. Don really went out of his way setting everything up for our ceremony, he wouldn’t stop until it was more than perfect! They truly care, to help make your wedding day special. We are so happy that we picked Barns of Lost Creek for our wedding Venue!

Mell and Don went above and beyond in every way! We planned our wedding from across the country and Mell was always there to answer questions from us, our parents, or any of our vendors. Even being sweet enough to answer all the same questions 100 times over!They both offered us so much support for the weeks leading up the wedding-from extra walk throughs of the venue, to helping up plan the day-of flow for a seamless party, to helping set up and coordinate with our other vendors on our wedding day so we didn't have to worry about it. We could not have asked for a better team! And what a beautiful venue! I think we saw it in every season and Mell and Don where always working on improving it. Its hard to find the right words to express how I feel about The Barns of Lost Creek. Pictures just don't do this place justice. There is a rustic elegant charm that you just have to feel. The dining hall is so unique and charming it almost makes you hope for rain so you can spend more time inside. The bridal suite is right out of a fairytale, and the main barn is absolutely breathtaking. However beautiful this place is, the best part has got to be Mel and Don. They have truly found their calling. They make you feel as though your big day is the best and only one that matters - and I feel they actually believe this. They will give you as much freedom or guidance as you need. Mel is right on top of everything - so organized and accommodating - she answers questions before you can even think to ask them. Mel and Don, along with their staff, work every minute of the event to make sure it goes smoothly and the you have the best day ever. All the while appearing to be having fun, mingling with guests and enjoying the day as much as you are. They take care of every little worry. It truly is an amazing venue. Makes for the best memories ever.

My husband and I were married at this gorgeous wedding venue 10/5/18- our day was more incredible than we could have even imagined thanks to venue owners, Mellissa and Don! They were so easy to work with and ensure your day runs smoothly. They both go above and beyond and are willing to do whatever to help. The barns are decorated so beautifully you almost have to do nothing yourself for decor! The grounds are kept up wonderfully including beautiful gardens, apple trees, and one of the best touches is the chickens and turkeys, that if wanted, can be roaming the property while you're there! We really are so thankful Mell and Don welcomed us to their home to create and remember one of the most important days of our lives- you really can't find a better venue than this!

Mell and Don were absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning. The venue itself is stunning and one of a kind. Their endless options for both ceremony and reception were unmatched. The day of the wedding our florist realized that the floral arch she prepared was a bit too thin, so Don hopped on his 4-wheeler, and when through the wooded area and brought back a ton of falled tree branches to help fill the arch; it looked absolutely stunning! I was blown away that they would do this. I didn't habve to think of a thing that day, they had everything under control. This was such a good feeling to have. I so highly recommend The Barns of Lost Creek. You will really enjoy working with Mell and Don to create the wedding of your dreams.

As we searched for a barn venue, the Barns of Lost Creek came across our radar. As soon as we toured, we knew it was the one! The whole venue is beautifully decorated, we hardly had to add anything to it! The venue was an amazing value for the price and only about an hour out of the Twin Cities. Our parents especially appreciated the working toilets, which is surprisingly hard to find at a barn venue. Mell and Don exceeded our expectations throughout the process, but especially the day of. They took care of so many behind-the/scenes items, and the whole day ran smoothly! Mellissa’s communication was always prompt and helpful. We probably got just as many compliments on the venue as congratulations! Everyone of all ages loved the space. The kids ran around the lawn, played yard games, and cooked s’mores. There were plenty of spots for people to sit around and chat, both in the barn and on the lawn. There was something for everyone! Honestly the best decision we made for our wedding was choosing Barns of Lost Creek as our venue. Thank you for everything, Mell and Don!

I truly can't say enough good things about this venue and the owners. When I first saw the venue online it seemed too good to be true, but in person it was even better than I could have imagined! The barn and the dining buildings are beautiful, and the way the venue is setup makes the day flow seamlessly. Also, working with Mel was a wonderful experience. She made it so easy for us, and went above and beyond in every way both before the wedding and on the day of. She is easygoing, a prompt communicator, and clearly loves helping couples plan their special day! This venue is beautiful, affordable, and such a fun place to celebrate with family and friends. Our day here was absolutely perfect!

This is a beautiful venue! They owners are very helpful and respond very quickly when planning your big day. During the day they help with make the transitions very smooth. I had my wedding October 12th and it was cold but they have patio heaters that help you not freeze.

I couldn’t recommend a more perfect place to get married at than The Barns of Lost Creek. My husband and I just recently got married here on September 29th, 2018 and everything about it was picture perfect. Originally we were looking for something a little closer to where we lived in Minnesota but once we found this place we couldn’t pass it up! What sold us on it was how absolutely gorgeous the venue itself was for an extremely affordable price. Most barns we looked at previously were at least double if not triple the rate it is to get married here and I feel like you get way more flexibility to do what you want with your day here than others for a location just equally as beautiful! Another thing that sold us was how accommodating the owners Mellissa and Don were. You’re allowed to bring in your own venders and essentially do what you need to do to make the day everything you envision. Mell and Don are some of the most kind and genuine people, and they helped to make sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. They not only mingled with our guest and made them feel welcomed and at home but they as well as their staff made sure everything ran smoothly and was exactly as it was supposed to be. They also also let us come in the day before being that there was no wedding that day and helped us to set up. Mell is extremely timely to respond to any questions you may have through email and her and Don let you make frequent visits to the barn itself before the actual wedding date incase you need to get more feels for decoration set ups. Please take the time to check out and consider this gorgeous rustic barn venue if you ever get the chance! You won’t regret it!

We are so happy that we decided to have our wedding at The Barns of Lost Creek! Mell and Don were so kind, helpful, and responsive during the entire process. The space is absolutely beautiful (outdoors and indoors); every barn has cozy and unique touches, and our guests enjoyed the variety of going to different spaces throughout the night. The weather on our wedding day was cold and rainy but it was still perfect because of the care and attention that Mell, Don, and their staff put into every detail making sure that things go smoothly and that everyone is comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough, if you're considering having your wedding here you definitely should!!
