They met with us multiple times prior to the wedding to go over setup and to walk through the day off. They helped set up the venue, directed guests, passed out delicious homemade appetizers, and were there to cover us newlyweds with a patio umbrella when we were hit with a torrential downpour. The venue itself is so beautiful we didn’t need many decorations. We brought some decorations ourselves and were able to rent the rest of our decorations from Mel and Don. We had planned to have our ceremony outside in front of the large tree, but the weather didn’t look like it would cooperate so we made the decision to move the ceremony into the barn. At first we were a little disappointed, but after we had the ceremony we realized how magical it was in the barn (multiple guests told us it was “magical” or “like a fairy tale”). We honestly think there wouldn’t be a bad place at this venue for the ceremony! We loved that there were multiple buildings we could utilize throughout the day. The happy hour/cocktail lounge was a perfect spot for guests to grab a drink between the ceremony and dinner. The dinner hall is charming and was very spacious for our 125 guests. The barn was perfect for the reception as it had plenty of room for guests who wanted to be on the dance floor (which was rocking all night!) or for guests who wanted to sit/stand and mingle. Overall, we couldn’t recommend The Barns of Lost Creek enough. Words truly can’t express how lucky we were to have gotten married here. We highly recommend!!!

The real bathrooms were a huge plus since most barn venues we have seen have port-a-potties or trailer bathrooms!

d to get married this year so we set out looking for a venue. Saying I was stressed is an understatement! After looking at what felt like 100s of venues, we fell upon The Barns of Lost Creek. We toured it & absolutely fell in love! I was afraid I was going to have to settle on a venue that didn’t fit my dream wedding due to the time constraints. There were only a few dates left so we acted fast & booked for Sept. 2nd which meant we had about 3 months to plan! Yikes! The breath taking venue hooked us, but in the end, it was Mell & Don who made this entire fast & furious wedding happen so smoothly! They were professional, so easy to communicate with & just so helpful! & I needed all the help I could get planning a wedding in 3 months on my own! They offered guidance & advice. They were flexible & personable! I really enjoyed working with them; almost as if they were part of my family. They made us feel at ease & comfortable & always offered words of encouragement. Not to mention they were everywhere on the day of the wedding! They were bartending, meeting with vendors as they arrived, coordinating & helping to set out appetizers & probably much more behind the scenes I don’t know about! We really could not have done this without them. What more could I girl ask for? Gorgeous dream wedding venue & amazing people to work with! I am recommending all of my family/friends to their Barns & I, myself, would love to have another event there! If you love outdoor, rustic barn weddings & wonderful human beings, book with Mell & Don - you won’t regret it!

but it comes with the help from these two wonderful humans. Mell & Don go above and beyond to make your day flow. She took care of setting out our cocktail hour food, helped transfer decor from the dining hall to the barn after dinner, kept the water dispenser full all night, etc etc. They were so accommodating! If you have your wedding here, please consider tipping them; they're basically built in day of coordinators. As for the venue, everything is in one place; large field for the ceremony, a dining hall, and a barn for dancing. There is two "getting ready buildings with air conditioning: one for the guys & one for the girls. Our photographer (Abby Dominguez) had a hoot with our photos because the venue is so beautiful she had many places to take gorgeous photos. We didn't need to overdue decorations because the place is already so cute and rustic! Lastly, the venue accommodates catering in food & beverages. With that being said, you can save TONS of money. We got all of our alcohol from Costco and saved a fortune. Anything unopened we returned and got our money back. We are SO happy we choose this venue!!!!!

They were great with communication the whole way through and have a list of vendors who are also wonderful to work with. Forever will be thankful we found them!

For ANY animal lover or little ones, there are lots of adorable animals to interact with! We cannot say enough about how much we love this place!

We did get to the venue twice before the wedding to see it in person, but it wasn't something crucial in the planning since she would quickly send all the measurements and details we asked for. We got to preserve our individuality and avoid so much frustration due to their flexibility, such as picking out our own caterer (not from a short list like other venues) and bring our own alcohol/have it delivered--although her list of suggested vendors was very useful as well. We were able to even use Mell as our cake and cupcake baker, and she was able to duplicate a favorite recipe with her farm-fresh fruit and match our Pinterest idea for the cake fondant....just wow!!! They went over and above to make sure every detail promised was right and were silently buzzing around the whole time we were there to make sure everything went perfectly. We really enjoyed every minute of the planning with them and the wedding day itself, and couldn't have possibly needed anything more! Cheers to Mell and Don at the Barns of Lost Creek!

It was great to have complete freedom when it comes to choosing your vendors, and they even provide a list of vendors that have worked well in the past, which made planning so much easier. With a GORGEOUS property, beautifully decorated barns, affordable price, and, as the icing on top, Mel was an incredible host! She was very accommodating, knowledgeable, confident, and helpful! She had extra decor, and so many connections for whatever we needed! My guests were glowing with praise as to how beautiful our venue was too! It was honestly the best day! I have nothing at all bad to say about this venue- if it has availability, book it!! You won’t regret it!

en our cater (Chipotle) didn't provide everything that they said would be provided, the staff ran into town and got the things that were needed without me even knowing! The animals (pigs and sheep) that they have there as well as the gardens and hiking trails through the woods really kept our guests occupied after everything was done! They also have many things that you can rent from them for cheap instead of having to purchase them for yourself. This website does say that the max occupancy is 200, but Mell (the owner) told me that her permit only allows 150 as a max occupancy. However, she was really nice about us having just over the 150 maximum.

It was also a bonus that the barn is so unique and decorated brilliantly that the need for extra decorations and accent pieces was minimal. edding at the barns October 10, 2020 and came back for our COVID Reception June 5, 2021. We had 130 guests show and everyone had a wonderful time despite it being 97 degrees (without dewpoint). Mell, Don, and their bartenders kept the ice water stocked and ready for all our guests all night. We had a 5 pm mini ceremony, dinner at 6:30, dance 8 to 11. Although I wish we had more time to dance, it was the perfect amount of time for the weather we had. g vibes. On top of their great hospitality, their venue is absolutely stunning. The location hosts a large dining hall, barn and bar area as well as lots of outdoor space to roam around. Perfect for a summer or autumn wedding. Mel is also a spectacular baker who made all of our desserts. The barn also has onsite bathrooms and bridal accommodations which makes it an all in one package! We wouldn't want to have our wedding anywhere else and would recommend this place 100 times over.

They had added a new dining hall and the venue had such a special charm that was unlike anything else we had seen. I knew it was the venue for us. Flash forward to our wedding day... Mell and Don helped us from start to finish and EVERYTHING in between. The wedding was magical with plenty of beautiful backdrops for photos. Being a COVID bride, Mell helped us have our special day while still making it a safe day for us and our guests attending. The magic from the venue, love from the owners, and the hard work and dedication that has obviously been put into this venue helped make our day the most perfect day ever. I am so happy we chose The Barns of Lost Creek! They made our day the best!

In the end, we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here and we ended up having the wedding of our dreams! All of the flowers were in bloom for our wedding which made the grounds look and smell amazing! Mell and Don were a dream to work with as well! They are both so sweet and laid back which we so appreciated. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was not the easiest, but they bent over backwards to be as flexible as possible and help us in any way they could which took SO much stress off of us. Decorating was super easy because both barns are already decorated beautifully. We especially loved this location because it accommodates ceremony and reception. Overall, are experience was wonderful, we hope our friends have their weddings here because we want any excuse to go back!

The grounds are beautifully decorated and landscaped. The antiques are artfully picked and you can't help but wonder the story and life behind them. The morning of our wedding, the weather was not ideal. It was cold, windy and rainy. This is something you obviously cannot control, but Mell and Don were prepared and ready for this prior to our arrival with heaters ready and warm. Throughout the entire day they ran around helping wherever they could. Don even waited outside the bridal suite and walked me to the main barn for our ceremony with a HUGE umbrella. I'm happy he didn't blow away! Our wedding day could have quite possibly been a mess if it weren't for these two. We are not the most organized couple but Mell and Don helped guide us since day one. Getting married at a venue that is created from love is truly special. The Barns of Lost Creek will always have a special place in our hearts. Barns were THE perfect venue for this! Beautiful grounds and buildings (with the dinner hall being my personal favorite) managed by the most amazing hosts - Mel and Don. Already beautifully decorated and full of vintage details, all we needed to do was to add a touch of our own. Both Mel and Don were extremely helpful before and during the wedding which made all the difference in the world as I turned out to be not quite as organized as I thought I would be! The guests LOVED roaming the grounds. The wedding party absolutely adored the getting ready spaces - and so did we! Our photographer had so much fun with all the rustic decor. I cannot express how happy I am we found the Barns and how I wish we could repeat the night all over again. :) THANK YOU Mel and Don, and the Barns crew for helping us have the best day of our lives. :)
