I fell in love with The Bath Club when my friend showed it to me online. I really didn't want to have a wedding at a hotel (where all reception halls look the same) - but wanted so...
mething more colonial/rustic looking. TBC was it! It's basically a white canvas and you can go as crazy or as simple as you'd like. We kept it simple and I felt that my wedding was out of control beautiful!
The staff was super friendly and always responsive to any inquiries.
The venue has several beautiful spaces - depending on your floor plan will determine how many guests makes sense. We had about 170 and there was some space to spare. We held dinner in the main ballroom and had the band and dance floor in an adjacent room. Our cocktail hour was outside and looked gorgeous with additional lighting suggested by my planner.
The ONLY issue we had using this venue is the parking. While we encouraged our friends and family to take Ubers - many decided to show up in their cars. While we had accounted for a large amount of guests, the area where the Bath Club is located can become a traffic jam, and unfortunately many of our guests were waiting in their cars for 30 minutes for valet. Again, this is not the fault of the venue, more so the location. Definitely something to plan for if you will have your wedding there! My recommendation is to pay for additional valets to run the cars since there is actually no parking at the venue.
I would recommend it with my eyes closed! Thank you Bath Club team!!
The reason I chose this Vendor was because the location is absolutely beautiful. Overwhelmed by the large venues I was looking at, the Bath Club was a great place for a more privat...
e and intimate wedding. You rent out the whole building, which gives guest the space to roam around. The one thing to note, is that are a bunch of additional costs to consider that are in addition to the price of the venue.
Some things to be aware of:
1) If you have a band, you must also purchase a generator
2) You must pay for valet for your guests and STAFF. Parking is a nuisance. Having a shuttle from the hotel is something to consider.
3) With our seating arrangements, the most the venue could hold was 254.
If you are having a beach wedding:
1) If you are having a beach wedding, you will need to file permits with the city. This is an additional cost not covered by the amount you pay the Bath Club to use the beach. You will also need to pay for a police officer.
2) If you are having a beach wedding, they are unable to move the large white storage boxes off the beach which an be a bit of an eyesore.
3) If there are other parties going on at the beach that day, individuals can walk over to you wedding. We have a man in a blue bathing suit in some of our photos. There was also a kids party going on that day, and they all sat down and watched the wedding (which was actually kind of cute). Some people get annoyed by things like this, but we understand that this is unavoidable.
I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful venue to have my wedding. It is the perfect mix of classic beauty with modern class! The outside garden was perfect for my cocktail hour a...
nd allowed me to create two very different atmosphere's for the reception! I am so happy with my wedding and a big part of that is the Bath Club
The most beautiful/perfect space for a wedding! Robin, chloe, and Eladio are wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make the day perfect.
