The Bauerhaus is simply wonderful. The venue is perfect, the communication was incredible, the place is simply breathtaking. 15/10 recommend.
The Bauerhaus made our wedding day easy on us. They do set up, tear down, & include most catering, rentals, DJ, transportation, & desserts, so we had minimal vendors & a stress fre...
e wedding day. It has a vintage charm we leaned into with our decor. I will say that many costs & fees were factored into our quote later than we would have hoped. We don’t mind paying extra for extra things, but if it was discussed a year prior, we would have loved to see it reflected on a quote more than a few weeks before the wedding. Additionally, the only vendors we had issues with were through the Bauerhaus & we did not communicate directly with them. The party bus was an hour late for pick up. We had to ask staff for updates after a half hour without communication. The DJ would not have been our first pick because we have very different vibes, & he refused to play several songs we requested. All in all, we were happy with our choice & would recommend, but some of the inclusiveness that sold us wasn’t the best choice for us in hindsight.
Everything the day of our wedding went perfect. My only complaint would be the lack of communication. It felt as though there was no communication or clarification until a week bef...
ore our wedding. It was also a mess dealing with everything the day after. All in all a good venue for having everything all in one place, I just wish there was better communication. They also booked an event the night before our wedding so we couldn’t do a rehearsal.
Rileigh and her team worked magic at my wedding! I hired Bauerhaus for an offsite catered event and they provided the food, bar, tables, chairs and even the BEST CAKE ever. We had ...
some quirky requests and the Bauerhaus team was never phased. Very welcoming to us as a same-sex couple.
Working with Tara and the Bauerhaus to plan our wedding reception was the most fun and seamless process! Wedding planning can be stressful in its own right; however, the Bauerhaus ...
goes above and beyond to ensure your day is as magical as you have always dreamt of! While planning for the big day, Tara was very responsive to answer all inquiries and is amazing at providing suggestions to help your vision come to life! From the appetizers to the main course & dessert, the Bauerhaus catering staff was phenomenal, leaving our guests with all smiles and happy tummies!! We are lucky and fortunate to have been able to have our wedding experience shared with the Bauerhaus!!
We rented our tent, tables/ linens, chairs, stage, and dance floor from them. They were able to set everything up in two days. Everything seemed to be a little wore out but overall...
looked nice after being set up. My only real disappointment here was the cakes. While they tasted great, they were not at all what I expected. I gave them pictures of the wedding cake and grooms cake and asked if they could make them and they said no problem! Well neither one looked anything like the picture I gave them and were falling apart by the time they were set up. Would recommend them for sheet cakes as they tasted great but if you’re wanting something based on looks I would not recommend them.

The Bauerhaus service and catering is incomparable to others in the area.
We worked directly with Jim Bauer during the year of wedding planning and were very lucky to have his ...
expertise and professionalism on hand for our special day. His tips, tricks, and advice were extremely helpful and his knowledge of weddings is vast. Having the ability to meet and work with him made me feel at ease during the planning process and I knew we were in good hands.
We were married at 20 West in Newburgh where The Bauerhaus is the preferred caterer, but we wouldn't have had it any other way. The Bauerhaus impressed all of our guests with the food and service they provided during our reception.
Also, since I have a food allergy, they prepared a special meal for me to eat for the reception. In doing so, I was able to enjoy a modified version of what my guests were having without any hassle or issues.
We were also able to order anything else we needed through them – tents, additional tables, linens, napkins, table runners, chairs. We also had the use of their beautiful bone china, which matched our décor perfectly.
I would recommend for any type of catering, large or small, and will be using them again in the future.
Brooke and the whole Bauerhaus team were fantastic to work with for our catering and cake. The food was fantastic and extremely reasonable. We heard nothing but great things from o...
ur guests about each and every dish. They even brought gluten-free and vegan meals for the few guests we had with those dietary restrictions; and ensured they got to the right people! If you need a caterer, it is well worth your time to talk with The Bauerhaus.
The bauerhaus was absolutely beautiful for our wedding reception! They were extremely helpful and everything turned out wonderfully!

s loved the cake and wanted more. Tonya Marie was great to work with. She was very accommodating, especially with us planning our wedding from so far away.
Food seemed good but very expensive place to have wedding.
The staff was very attentive with set-up and delivery. Two issues though. The delivery people called the bride when they arrived to have her direct their work instead of the weddi...
ng coordinator. Also, a chafing dish tray was misplaced by Bauer's staff and the bride had to have a reception site director call to verify that all rented items were accounted for when Bauer's staff came to pick them up to avoid being charged.
We were unable to use them because they are sooooo expensive. You have to spend at least $10,000 and they charge for EVERYTHING. It's an extra $1000 if you want your wedding before...
6pm. Ridiculous. However, the venue is gorgeous.
I used them and everything was great, except I was short a few pieces of flatware, but otherwise good!
The Bauerhaus was a Godsend! My husband and I live in Florida but were planning a wedding in Evansville, where I'm from. I'm in school full time and he's in the Navy so we didn't...
have the time or ability to travel to Indiana for a lot of planning meetings. We visited for one weekend and worked with Brooke for about an hour and had everything set! The day went flawlessly without a single worry (at least none for us!). Everyone mentioned how beautiful the venue and decorations were and how delicious the food was and I could not agree more. HIGHLY recommended, especially for busy couples!
love it!
Rented tables. Tables were a little rough looking, but we covered them with tablecloths so they worked. Price was good.
