The Bead Lady of Concord

I can't say enough about Kathleen and everyone at "The Bead Lady". My husband is Filipino and one of the most important traditions is the veil and chord ceremony. They use a very specific rosary for this. We had such a hard time finding one. I explained what I needed and Kathleen made me the most beautiful rosary. It was one of the most special parts of my day. We will cherish it forever and look forward to our children using it for their own weddings one day! She can make anything, highly recommend!

We took my wedding flowers to the Bead Lady in Concord and she made some absolutely beautiful necklaces and bracelets out of my flowers. These are going to be amazing Christmas gifts for some of the ladies in my family so that everyone can keep a piece of our big day :) They were extremely easy and helpful to work with. My jewelry was ready in a timely manner.

I wanted every detail of our wedding to come from the heart, and as with many other details I chose to make the jewelry for my bridesmaids. The ladies at The Bead Lady are amazing! They made me beautiful jewelry for my MOH, flower girls and myself. I am excited to have flower beads made with my ceremony flowers and to see what beautiful creation they come up with. A recent bride referred me to The Bead Lady. From the start, the idea of custom jewelry for my wedding excited me. When I visited the store, there were a lot of other customers there, but immediately, Kathleen and Amanda made me feel like I was the only one there. They were interested, not only in selling jewelry, but in my wedding, likes, and dislikes. Before I knew it, Kathleen had designed an amazing pair of earrings. However, they didn't match my wedding gown. So, I left to get a picture of the details of my gown, but I didn't return for a week. When I returned, the ladies were genuinely happy to see me. I could not believed they remembered me and had saved the tray of jewelry I started the previous week. This time, Kathleen allowed me to design my own earrings and bracelet. She also, helped me with my veil and custom pieces for my aunt and mother. This was the most amazing experience I've had since planning my wedding. Instead of feeling stressed, I left The Bead Lady feeling inspired. My wedding will be extra special because of The Bead Lady. I cannot wait to wear my one-of-a-kind jewelry. Furthermore, now, I have keepsakes that I will give to my children one day. The Bead Lady offers more than jewelry. Each piece is a custom-made experience designed just for you. You can't put a price on that. It's absolutely invaluable!

I got married in May, 2012 to the man of my dreams and had the most beautiful wedding!! Most brides wonder what they will do with their flowers after the big day. Mostly because you spend a lot of money on your flowers and do not want to get one day use out of them. However, the truth is when the wedding became days away, I did not think much more about my flowers and what would happen to them after the wedding. My mom had something up her sleeve about my flowers. My mom had heard from my wedding planner that there was a wonderful place in Concord, NC called The Bead Lady where you can take your flowers and they do a 12 step process to put your flower on your bead. (Not sure of all the details, but it is gorgeous) While I was away on my honeymoon without a care in the world, my mom took some of my flowers to The Bead Lady to have her make the beads with my flowers on them. After picking up my beads, my mom forgot to give me the beads until summer 2013. When I received the beads, I immediately became over joyed with excitement and was completely amazed that something like this was possible. The thought that I could have my flowers from my wedding forever amazed me. My mom told me that I could take them to The Bead Lady and pick out if I wanted them on a necklace, bracelet, keychain, earrings, etc. I did not take them until yesterday because of getting busy with life but I wish I would have taken them sooner. I had the best experience and service. I had the opportunity to pick out other beads I wanted to go with my beads and the style of necklace I wanted.They made the necklace while I was there and it is beautiful. My mom also made a necklace out of my beads and I made my mother in law a necklace. It is awesome to know that they will always have a little piece of my wedding with them. The owner was so pleasant to be around and her staff was extremely helpful! It was a lot of fun! She has TONS of beads to chose from and will help you make whatever you would like. If you are a bride wanting to save your flowers but do not know want to do with them, then I HIGHLY recommend The Bead Lady! You will not be disappointed!
