The Bean Farm

This venue was so beautiful, unique, and perfect. Its located in Scotch Grove out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by crops (which make for great scenery). The cost is such a deal at $2,500 + tax, because it included the entire weekend, use of items in their "freebie closet", use of a full kitchen, sleeper bunks, bridal suite, firewood, and more! The only negative was trying to get a hold of the owner, Julia Bean. Her responsiveness to emails was very slow...I'd have to wait a month or so to get a response initially. It got a little quicker closer to the wedding date, but still slow. As for the wedding day, she was absent from the property and we had issues with the outdoor power to make the music work. We tried her phone and it took 2 hours for a response. Luckily we figured it out in the nick of time and the music worked. Overall, I love this venue and would recommend it, despite the responsiveness of the business. However, I'd steer clear if you are looking for a more engaged host.
