guidance. I read every review and made my decisions after speaking with owners and vendors. Also doing trials as well as my final decision factor. I wanted to pass on anything I can to the next bride trying to make sure her day is as perfect as she imagined. So here's my review, and if you read this I write this with the upmost respect and honesty. Nicole Patrick is an amazing person inside and out. She answered all of my questions. Put all my concerns and frustrations at ease. The makeup trial was fantastic and we had so much fun. She also reccomended other people to help me as well that I was looking for when she didn't have to. (spray tan, and hair stylist) Which all turned out to be great. Nicole is very respectful, and a pleasure to work with. So much so that I was sad when my wedding was over but she shocked me again when we continued to have a relationship and she is helping me now with my makeup for the everyday look. She created a website for me to go on and purchase all the exact makeup she used on me at my wedding, 3 days after asking. She listens during everything and if there is anything you want to change about your makeup she is willing to change it right away no questions asked. She has helped me so much with a skin care regiment as well and my skin is the best its ever been. Ladies if you are looking for someone to help you, make sure your day goes as planned, very talented in what she does, professional, reliable, and will give you the stress free experience on your special day Nicole Patrick is the women to call. I owe her so much for helping me become better with my self care and make me feel like my wedding day is everyday from here on out. That is what she delivered and more!
Nicole’s communication throughout the entire process was prompt, clear, and genuinely caring. When other vendors were slow with schedules or responses, Nicole was always there reassuring me and even offering to reach out on my behalf. Her pricing is exceptionally fair, and her contract is clear and easy to understand. She is an experienced bridal makeup artist in every sense of the word — she is incredibly down to earth and delivers an incredibly luxe experience.
Living in North Jersey, I can confidently say the two-hour drive for my makeup trial was worth it a thousand times over. From the moment I left, I had complete peace of mind knowing I had booked the right artist. Nicole is a true professional — she asked thorough questions about my skin, my daily makeup, my dress, the season, indoor vs. outdoors, etc. She honestly helped me make decisions about parts of my wedding I didn’t even realize I needed to think through. Her experience with bridal services is unparalleled.
At the trial we did two different looks and quickly found the perfect direction. There is absolutely no ego in Nicole’s work — she welcomes questions, explains what she’s using, and encourages you to speak up if you want to try something different. She even showed me how everything photographed, using lighting to mimic daylight and flash, which was such a game changer. I really felt like “Ohhhh… now I get it.” My only regret from the trial was that I had nowhere to go afterward!!!
In terms of the wedding day — I’ll admit, I had some (in hindsight, very unnecessary) worries about my bridal party. My mom had never had her makeup done professionally and was nervous about looking too “done.” My sister and sister-in-law wear very minimal makeup and originally weren’t even planning on having theirs done. My MOH, thankfully, was game for anything.
When I say Nicole is changing lives, I am not exaggerating. My sister, who had never worn eyeliner let alone lashes before, agreed to try them — they looked so natural and beautiful that my mom asked if she could have “another coat of mascara or something”… only to realize my sister was wearing lashes. Cut to my mom immediately asking for lashes too! My SIL, who was concerned about eyeshadow on her hooded eyes, was blown away by how bright, lifted, and stunning her eyes looked.
As the bride, watching my closest family truly enjoy themselves — taking selfies, staring in the mirror, feeling confident and special was one of the sweetest, most unexpected gifts of the day. They are always beautiful, but seeing them feel extra special meant everything to me. Nicole absolutely transformed everyone in the best way.
I cannot recommend Nicole enough. She has the talent, the technical knowledge, and the most likable, and relaxed presence. There is something truly special about her — not only is she beautiful inside and out herself, she made me feel so beautiful and she created such beautiful moments for my closest family that I will forever cherish.

m the start she is very organized and helpful throughout the process. I did my trial with her, which was so much fun, and we went through everything and tried different styles so I could settle on the look for the big day. She pays attention to detail and is very good at listening to what you want and providing recommendations that will help translate the look. I don't know a ton about makeup, so having someone that is able to put together exactly what I want based on photos is so helpful! She is also hilarious and very easy to talk to, which is much appreciated during the big day. When she was doing my makeup, I was able to relax before things started to get hectic. Additionally - the makeup stayed on ALL night. I didn't need any touch ups and it made it all night and even to the after party. I could not recommend Nicole and her team enough - she takes pride in what she does and she is an expert!

figure out what time we needed to start, I paid extra for my venue to come in earlier in the morning. She worked along side Sage and Cassidy from Saged and it could not have been a better team. My trial was amazing, in her studio. She really took time to listen to what I was envisioning, I know nothing about makeup and she was able to walk me through what I was wanting and even gave me some suggestions on how to help my skin leading up to the wedding, I went out and bought the serum and moisturizer she recommended! On my wedding day, she was on time with a huge smile on her face ready to get the morning started. She made my girls, both moms and I feel incredibly beautiful. Probably the most beautiful I have ever felt. She really pays the most attention to all of the little details and wouldn’t let us out of her chair until she felt she truly couldn’t add anymore and we were perfect. You know you look good when Nicole is throwing faces at you and saying “mhm”. She even talked my mom into putting fake lashes on which made her look even more amazing. Nicole was simply magic and I highly recommend her to anyone attending anything. She was amazing to work with and I can’t wait for her to make my face up again, because it will happen. If you haven’t hired her yet, do it. You get what you pay for and she’s simply the best.

The makeup just kept getting better and better (didn’t think that was possible) as we worked together to create the perfect makeup look for me. She is so willing to listen to what you like and don’t like and understands everyone has different preferences. Nicole communicates so well and promptly, which is pretty rare in the wedding industry at this point. I always felt taken care of and special. It’s so easy for vendors to forget that even though they do this every day, the bride is most probably doing this for the first time! Nicole makes you feel like you’re her only concern. She’s also hilarious and so fun to talk with. Her and her assistant had my actual wedding day going so smooth and I was calm because she was calm. All 11 other women that were getting their makeup done were ecstatic with the work by Nicole and her second artist. The makeup came out beautifully and she implements certain techniques that I do think are unique to create the most flawless look. My makeup stayed the whole night I didn’t even reapply my lipstick. Ok this is my honest rating and opinion: Nicole is absolutely freaking AMAZING. I am going to back this up using a couple different reasons. 1) Not that all Women aren't beautiful ...
special snowflakes in their own ways, but let's just say that Nicole has the amazing ability to make anyone look like Adriana Lima which is sometimes more difficult than other times, right? It is AMAZING she is like the beauty fair godmother. 2) Again, all Brides have beautiful weddings in their own way, but I think a lot of them go for the "natural" look and then unfortunately it doesn't translate into the beautiful high definition pictures that you spend a million dollars on for your wedding. Nicole's work shows UP! AND in real life, it doesn't look too cakey or like too much, it looks stunning. But it is dramatic enough in the right ways to accentuate what features make YOU look best, that I was like literally who is that?? Oh its ME. All of my Bridesmaids and the Maids of Honor looked like runway models as well, both in real life and in pictures. And finally, 3) the make up that Nicole does STAYS ON. LIKE DIDN'T MOVE and you KNOWWWW we were crying in the club because its the most fun and beautiful day of your life I am crying right now thinking about it but OUR MAKE UP STAYED the lashes STAYED it was phenomenal. SO yeah I am really freaking happy with my choice to go with The Beauty Bar And Lounge. A note too that while I keep saying Nicole, her assistant she brought along was just as phenomenal in all the same ways. ALSO my trial was amazing, I did it before my bridal shower to look stunning there as well, and we tweaked a few things for the wedding day as it was at night and Nicole was really receptive to all of my requests and changes - I maybe had like 2-3 things (very slight) that we changed and I felt very heard and that she was able to create exactly what I wanted. Anyway, she is fantastic and you would be a FOOL to not book her. Can't wait to have her do my makeup for all of my future life events :)
