Welcome to The Beauty Spot! I’m Megan, owner and Lead Stylist. I am a bridal specialist on Long Island and I started my career in 2003. Specializing in bridal styling, I truly take pride in my work and creative skill.
At sixteen years old, I started apprenticing in various salons, learning what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Moving forward, I took all the skills that I learned to pursue my career further.
When I am not in my studio, I am on location accommodating bridal parties of all sizes. My team and I are experienced in all hair types and textures. We pride ourselves on assuring a smooth and easy start to your day. My favorite part of the morning is the big reveal. There is nothing better than that!

Her & her sister were very sweet to chat with as she did my hair, and she worked quickly, but carefully, and was able to do exactly what I had in mind. A year went by and I made a last minute switch to my hairstyle the morning of the wedding, and Megan nailed it. Not only is she super talented and efficient, but she brought the energy I needed for my day. When someone in the party asked to do a hairstyle similar to mine, Megan approached me immediately and triple checked if I was okay with that. I said I was, but she knew I wouldn't really want that, so was persistent and convinced me to have my own unique look for my special day. When the timeline fell behind as timelines on wedding mornings typically do, she kept me calm and told me not to worry about it. All the girls were thrilled with their hair, and we had the best looking group of bridesmaids thanks to Megan and team! Would absolutely use her again for an event, thank you so much Megan!!

s well as mine and I couldn't have been more happy about how everyone's hair turned out! All of my girls looked incredibly gorgeous and I loved how my hair looked in all of the pictures! It held up extremely well throughout the whole day! She really makes sure it stays and she is definitely a perfectionist, which I believe every bride wants for their hair and makeup on their wedding day! Megan set up her stuff right in my parents' living room and she was able to do everything she needed to do without any stress, plus it helps that she was super prepared. Another really amazing thing is that Megan is VERY easy to work with. I live in Virginia but I am from Long Island so I thought it would be difficult to get a trial in with her during the time I would be in LI but it wasn't hard at all. She worked around my schedule and was able to do 2 trials with me on 2 different occasions that I was up in NY. I showed her pictures of hairstyles I wanted and told me the pros and cons of them, which I love. With all of that, she created the perfect bridal look that I wanted. Megan also has worked with the makeup artist we hired as well and both of them had a great system going the morning of my wedding. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Megan and her team for any special occasion. She is definitely knows how to create the perfect hairstyle that you would want and very open to suggestions if you wanted to change something about it. Her pricing is very fair too. al day if it wasn't perfect. We had the WINDIEST wedding ever and the ceremony was outside. Even with my hair blown in every direction, my hair looked perfect until the next morning! My bridesmaids were the same way! We were outside for a total of 3 hours taking pictures and having the ceremony and not a hair was out of place. Megan's vibe the morning of, was fun and happy! I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out and i would recommend her every time!
