The Beehive Salon

Thank you to the Beehive for styling our hair for my wedding day. A huge shout-out to Jessica and Eric. These two honestly made the morning so much happier and brighter, they kept us smiling, laughing, and dancing! They were great about catering to each of our unique styles...for example, going simple and elegant for my mom, a beautiful up-do for my sister-in-law, and classic curls for myself! Mindy was also very easy to coordinate with when Covid happened, and she was great about rescheduling and changing things up to meet our needs. I can't wait to work with you guys again next year, for the full wedding event!

Had a little trouble with communication at the start but in the end, Mindy and her team did a fantastic job with the hair and make-up for our wedding day. They created exactly the look I always envisioned and I felt incredibly beautiful. It was so awesome that they traveled on-site, too!

Eric did an amazing job! He was patient and flexible when I changed my idea on my hairstyle the day of my wedding. He worked with me until I loved everything! My hair turned out wonderfully!! What a great time working with Eric!!!!

I can't imagine a greater experience for wedding hair styling than Jill and Beehive Studios! After my hair trial (about a month before the wedding) I knew that I had chosen the perfect place. Jill stayed open late for us to get our hair cut and nails done the Wednesday before the wedding, and then squeezed in appointments for my sisters and I to get our hair done for the rehearsal dinner. Since my wedding was so early (9am at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart), Jill and her staff came to our hotel at 6am to do our hair... not only are they very talented, but they are also extremely efficient! (On the morning of the wedding, you don't want to be sitting in the salon chair for hours!) Best of all, they are just so sweet and FUN... exactly the kind of people you would want around during your wedding! Although I live in Chicago, I plan to return to the Beehive for my next hair cut!
