The Ben, Autograph Collection Hotel

The Ben is a luxury boutique hotel overlooking the Palm Harbor Marina in downtown West Palm Beach, Miami, FL. Part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, it boasts 8,000 square feet of event space and stunning sea views, making it an ideal wedding venue. The Ben was inspired by one of Palm Beach County’s original great homes, Byrd Dewey’s Ben Trovato Estate, built in 1892. The name derives from the Italian phrase “ben trovato”, meaning “well invented” or “well found.” At the estate, Byrd Dewey entertained many famous names, including Woodrow Wilson and the Vanderbilts. The Ben was intended to continue her tradition of hosting with an unconventional hotel experience that provides opportunities for mixing, meeting new people, and enjoying lively conversation. To align with the establishment’s mission, The Ben features a variety of spacious settings where weddings and events can be held, both within the hotel and on its rooftop terrace. These can be used for ceremonies and receptions as well as rehearsal dinners, vow renewals, post-wedding brunches, and more. The Blue Heron Ballroom can host between 50 and 175 guests and boasts Palm Beach’s only rooftop ballroom with water views. The Studio provides a versatile space for any pre-wedding proceedings or reception functions, and has a capacity of 200 people. Our newest feature is The Park at Banyan Square - an outdoor space that can be utilized for outdoor weddings or tented for a beautiful reception area. The Ben also features a stylish rooftop terrace with an existing bar and cabana, perfect for cocktail hour. For guests requiring overnight accommodation, The Ben has 208 luxurious guest rooms with water views where they can relax in comfort.
