Melissa was incredible!! Her cakes are not only beautiful, but they taste so GOOD! She produced the most beautiful cake for my wedding, it looked exactly like I had envisioned. And we got so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! She also make mini banana puddings (which are my husbands favorite) for our rehearsal dinner and they were so great! Highly recommend!

Melissa is wonderful and really get to work with. She is super friendly, and works out of her home in La Grange. On top of being a family run business, which was important to us, she is also incredibly affordable. Her cake work is absolutely gorgeous. She'll give you suggestions, work with you on whatever you'd like, and is a total pro. My fiance and I were going to have a 3 tier cake, but we both liked different flavors. Melissa suggested doing mix-matched flavors! I didn't even think that was possible! But that's what we went with and it was a hit and everyone was happy. She was also really experienced with our venue - which has a HUGE hill to get up - and we all know how that goes when it comes to transporting cakes and uneven areas... But she's got that down pat, and there were no issues. I asked for cascading flowers, and she made it look absolutely gorgeous, just like the inspo pics I had sent here. Highly highly recommend her to brides looking for a wonderful and affordable cake maker in the hill country area!

Melissa is AWESOME! I wish I could include a photo of our cake here because it was so PRETTY. It not only looked gorgeous, but tasted amazing! We had a specific vision for our cake and she created such a gorgeous treat that WOW-ed us all! Melissa is also very organized and we loved working with her so if you are considering her for any of your cake needs, BOOK HER you won't regret it!

The first thing that people mention when bringing up our wedding was how delicious our cake was! We had a dessert bar set up with macarons, mini cupcakes, and cake sandwiches. Everything was INCREDIBLE. The cake was beautiful. My dad even mentioned that watching the cake being set up was like watching art. My only disappointment was that I wish we had ordered more. We had planned for 150 guests and we ended up having 130 and all of our desserts went so fast. I wish the staff would have recommended for us to order more.

I have had her cakes before and knew I did not want anyone else! We were able to taste three flavors and different fillings and icings. She was very accommodating with our cake requests (my husband wanted chocolate chips added to his red velvet cake) and even delivered the cakes and set them up for us! We love her cakes so much and hope to have her again in the future!

My wedding and grooms cakes were amazing. The grooms cake was a Smokey and the Bandit chase scene my husband had a smile from ear to ear. And my wedding cake was perfect and everyone is still talking about how good it looked and tasted. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this shop and will use it again someday. Our cakes turned out better than we could have ever imagined!!

Melissa made cupcakes for our wedding. We had the chocolate with chocolate butter cream frosting, vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting, Italian cream with cream cheese frosting and red velvet with cream cheese frosting. They were all FANTASTIC! We had a hard time narrowing down flavors to those 4 after our tasting because all were so good. All of our guests raved about them too. Melissa’s pricing was also very reasonable. We would highly recommend The Best Little Cake Shop in Texas!

Our wedding cake not only looked absolutely amazing..but it tasted phenomenal! Melissa was sooo easy to work with, and she makes magic happen in both the taste of her cakes and the artistic presentations. Not to mention that her cakes are half the price of all the cake shops in Austin!!! I will definitely use her again for all of our special occasions.

The Best Little Cake Shop in Texas did a wonderful job with our wedding cakes! We started off with a lovely tasting out of the owner's beautiful home. The cakes were amazing, and she had many models there to help us decide on a design. We ended up going with a tall, 3 tiered bride's cake with different textures for the outside of each layer and a Yeti cooler replica cake for the groom's cake with ice and bottles of Boone's Farm on the inside of the cooler. Our guests were truly impressed to say the least!

Our wedding cake was great! Melissa made a small cake topper, cupcakes, and a small grooms cake for our wedding. It was wonderful! our cake topper was delicious! we had vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. I would have skipped the grooms cake but Melissa had a pictures of a grooms cake that as a shiner beer bottle cap and we had to have it! It looked amazing! but sadly I can't review that cake because it was all eaten! We heard nothing but good things from out guests

I have used Melissa's cakes and cookies for all my parties for years. Everything has always been absolutely perfect. She is such a wonderful person to work with.
