The 3rd girl (I'm so sorry I am blanking on her name) that came to help with the bridal prep was amazing with my 3 year old niece, getting pampered was her favorite part of the whole day! There are no hidden prices or fees, everything is posted for clients to view & they give you exactly what you ask for. Every girl loved their hair and makeup, everyone looked flawless. They really know how to bring out the natural features and accentuate a look without caking it all on! I couldn't thank them more for helping keep my wedding day stress free & perfect! Thank you ladies so much, you have gained a permanent customer if I ever need special hair or makeup done for an event!

ere all done by the time I requested so we could move on to pictures. The biggest issue with Studio B is planning and communicating. Both with scheduling the initial trial and finalizing details a few weeks out from the wedding, it was extremely difficult to get a call or email back. At some points I had multiple emails and phone calls into the company and the average response time was two weeks. This got stressful as I was trying to pay off the balance and figure out timing for my bridesmaids to arrive. No one at the salon deals with the weddings except Kristi from what I can tell, so no one could help me if she wasn’t available. Overall, I think they did a great job and everyone was happy. I would recommend using them, but keep in mind the timing of email turnaround when planning so you don’t get stressed!

es. Everyone looked so beautiful and fit the requested aesthetic perfectly. No one looked too stiff or overly made up--the girls looked like themselves, but flawless! All of our looks lasted through the evening--and our hair was still beautiful at brunch the next morning. The only downside is the salon is very slow about responding to email and phone calls, which added some stress before the wedding. They delivered in the end though and I was very happy.

It was natural and I felt beautiful. I actually came out better the day of! Mallori did my hair for the trial and for the final day. From the trial which I though was perfect she seemed to make it even better the day of! I gave her a picture of my idea and she did it amazingly and in such a way that I was able to dance all night without my hair falling out. The hair looked soft and not slicked back. Both stylists did mine as well as my 5 bridesmaids and the two mothers makeup and hair. All of them looked beautiful and were very happy with their results. I would recommend Studio B with Kristi and Mallori to anyone who asked.

Everyone's makeup stayed put throughout the entire day and night despite it being hot and humid! Studio B also has makeup services and I scheduled a trial with the studio owner, Kristi. Kristi was very nice and took the time to listen to me to create the look that I wanted. I thought I wanted a natural look-but quickly decided to change it up and go for more coverage-and Kristi obliged! She can do any look, from natural to more glam, and I was lucky enough to have her do it all for me- she did my makeup for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. She did not disappoint! Kristi also suggested skincare products for me to use to prep my skin for the big day and I was thankful to have the advise of a beauty pro. The day of my hair trial I brought in a picture that I found off of Pinterest that I loved- with a couple of glances at the photo and a little improvisation, Sam made my hair look better than I even imagined! Immediately I scheduled Studio B to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, too. The day of my wedding my bridesmaids and I headed to the studio, which Kristi had opened early for me. Music, that I got to choose, played on the speakers in the salon and they allowed us to bring in sparkling wine and brunch foods. It was a blast! My hair and makeup looked fantastic, thanks to Sam and Kristi. My bridesmaids (5) also looked stunning, thanks to all the hard work from everyone at the salon- you luck out at this salon as everyone who works there is professional and very talented. My hair and makeup lasted all day, through the ceremony, pictures by the water, pictures on a carousel (hair didn't budge!), and dancing throughout the night at my reception. I felt absolutely beautiful on the day of my wedding, all thanks to Studio B!

r company that I did not use so I say from experience that Studio B is top notch. In addition to doing an amazing job in the hair and makeup for myself and whole bridal team, they were very good at taking direction from the client. This is crucial! It's a bit awkward to be telling the people making you look beautiful that you would like to see things a bit differently but they make you feel comfortable in that role. Kristi is polite and professional. Most importantly everybody was on time and got the job done early helping me to start the wedding day more relaxed. There is no price you can put on that. My only criticism is their mandatory 20 percent tip. I personally think tip should be discretionary and view mandatory tips as a buried cost. Just make it part of the price and leave the tipping up to the customer. Also, they are much more affordable than a lot of the places in Newport where I got married. Some people wanted an INSANE amount of money to do hair and makeup. No thanks. I felt Kristi's prices were reasonable overall. My total cost was high because approx 12 people had their hair and makeup done in my case.

Brittani did my hair and she is so great at what she does, not to mention very easy to get along with :) She helped me work through what I thought I wanted for my hair, and ultimately worked with me to find they style that I fell in love with which was not what I had thought it would be at all! I did not feel rushed and she was a spot of relief in a very stressful wedding planning! A little more expensive that I was looking for but the work and service is more than worth it. I definitely will be going back to Studio B for my everyday hair cut needs!

Kristi did my makeup and my bridesmaids' makeup for the wedding. She was equally as kind, patient, and professional throughout the whole experience. At the trial, she too looked at pictures of what I liked and recreated that look for me. She made adjustments both the day of and at the trial when asked. She showed up ahead of schedule, so we did not feel rushed at all throughout the morning. She was very knowledgeable, as she made recommendations for my specific skin type and chose makeup for me based on this. The airbrushing technique that she used made my skin look flawless the whole wedding day! I would highly recommend Studio B for your hair and wedding makeup!

I wore my long hair half-up, half-down all curls and it stayed looking beautiful throughout the entire night… I was so impressed (and shocked!). My bridesmaids hair all looked beautiful (all 7 of ‘em) and my 2 flower girls had simple cute braids. Overall, Studio B is one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride that wants hair-perfection on their big day. I was so happy with their customer service and skills, I broke up with my old hairdresser and now go to Kelly! She just did my hair a few days ago (cut and highlights), and again… AWESOME!

And I LOVED the way it came out! Kristi's airbrush makeup was flawless - I have oily skin, and the makeup stayed fresh-looking through the night. As with all wedding makeup/hair, it was not cheap, and there was a travel fee to Newport, but to me it was more than worth it. The girls were so professional, organized, and sweet! Highly recommend!

For the number of people in there and the amount of hair we were out of there quickly. Leading up to my wedding I had heard horror stories of brides running late because the hair & makeup took longer than planned; not with Studio B! I let Kristi know which of my bridesmaids had thick hair, long hair, short hair and she sent me an appointment schedule for the wedding day. We set in the contract that everyone would be done by noon and I think everyone was done by 11! They were on time and very professional! I highly recommend Studio B for any Bride's wedding. I was new to RI and not very familiar with the salons near by. I had called one other 5 star rated salon in Cranston and was treated HORRIBLY over the phone. I never even made it in because obviously they are doing so well they didn't need my business. You won't get that with Studio B. I now see Kelly for all my hair care needs; the salon is so friendly and treats everyone with kindness and respect. They truly care about how you look on your wedding day - and just..in general! I'm so happy I found them! You won't be disappointed!

Kristi really listens to exactly what you want and makes you look gorgeous! Kelly and Caroline did our hair. Each one of us has different types/lengths of hair. Whenever I used to get my hair curled for events (before Kelly), it would take forever because I have thick, long hair. Kelly was able to accomplish it in half the time and make it look even better! Some of the bridesmaids and moms wanted their hair completely up while others wanted it curled and down. Kelly and Caroline were very accommodating and gave each girl unique and modern styles. Thank you girls! You all made my day so special and stress free!!

I am so glad that I took her advice, because on my wedding day, I could have been a hair model! She was able to achieve the exact look that I had in mind, and her attention to detail was awesome. Kristi, one of the owners, did my make-up. I have always gone to MAC in the past to have my make-up done for special occasions, but I am so glad I chose to use Kristi for my wedding. She uses Stila products, which lasted all day, without looking too thick. I also had a dry run with her, and she choose a plum palette (which I would never had chosen on my own) that looked awesome!! In addition, she did my makeup so FAST! Less than 15 minutes and I was all set- false lashes and all. Kristi and Sam were truly awesome- they styled my mother in law and a couple of my friends as well- and everybody was really pleased.
