The Bethel Inn Resort is a charming 1913 historical Inn Resort and scenic wedding venue located in the serene expanse between Oxford Foothill Mountains in the quaint little village of Bethel Maine. You and your partner can invite your nearest and dearest to celebrate your entire wedding weekend in the fun recreational-like atmosphere of the venue. From golf, mountain bike trails, hiking, lounging at the resort vintage Lakehouse, canoeing and kayaking, your wedding will be a weekend full of laughter, love, and incredible memories while you exchange vows in the idyllic setting. The serene venue is enveloped by lush green mountains and is just 2 1/5 hours from Boston and 4 1/2 hours from New York City, making it an ideal space to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and share in the joy of your union.
You can invite up to 150 friends and family to mark the occasion with you, whether you choose to say your "I do's" in front mountain backdrop or in the vintage decorated formal Gibson Room or Main Dining Room. The venue can accommodate a tent or indoor wedding up to 150 guests in the 200-acre natural expanse. With two lakes on the property and endless rolling hills, your wedding photographs will be set to stunning backdrops as you go from ceremony to reception. The venue team provides buffet-style catering tailored to your preferences. easy to work with. Every time I had a question, they answered it with many details and contingency plans. We had planned to have an outdoor cocktail hour, but the wind was too strong on the day of our wedding. It was moved inside without incident and our day went off without a hitch! We used the main dining rooms and loved it because the architecture added to the ambiance of the room without a lot of extra work or planning for us. I would recommend The Bethel Inn to anyone and everyone looking to get married in a country setting with amenities.

ndemic, and Brad and co. were great in guiding us through the process, and promptly and kindly answering our many, many questions throughput a 2 year planning period. The Inn itself is charming and quaint and I felt like I was on a movie set the whole weekend. The backdrop for the ceremony is beyond beautiful and the staff were truly wonderful, warm and had a keen eye for detail that truly made everything exceptional. The food was delicious (I still want more of those meatballs) and everything was perfect. We can’t wait to back for our anniversary. Book your wedding here. You won’t regret it.

aces while they were oohing and ahing over their meals. The dining rooms made for an intimate dining experience as well as dancing experience. The ceremony location on the 9th fairway hold stunning views of the mountains as well as a beautiful landscape in the foreground. It made for the most perfect backdrop for our peak foliage wedding. Brad and team were always super accommodating, very responsive, and was always willing to work with us. I never felt like I couldn't trust them when it came to day of preparations (set up, timelines, etc...). I highly recommend this venue!

edding coordinator at the Inn was amazing, she was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure everything went so smoothly our whole wedding weekend. The entire staff was so accommodating to any need that may have come up throughout the weekend. We had our families up for the whole weekend and we had such a great time and they couldn't say enough about the Bethel Inn. We would highly recommend the Bethel Inn for a wedding, beautiful location for your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was on the golf course with the White Mountains in the background and it made an absolutely gorgeous setting!

ar later that our wedding was such a wonderful time. The wedding coordinator gave me all the tools I needed to get things planned, and the entire event went out without a hitch. Tammy knows weddings, she made sure everything was planned and perfect even though her daughter was getting married the very same day . She also has a list of excellent vendors (I cannot recommend Savage Photography or Dionne Entertainment enough) and will go above and beyond to get you any special request you may need. If you are looking for a wonderful, affordable venue in New England, then take a look at The Bethel Inn.

ceremony on the green. Tammy made planning venue-related things totally effortless, and it was such a relief to have her around for day-of help I didn't know I'd need! She even snuck some leftovers into the wedding suite for us at the end of the night, which was very much appreciated. Our guests loved the dinner (especially the stuffed sole!), and the variety of whoopie pies from Carri were delicious.
The majority of our guests came from far away and stayed the weekend. Not one of them had any negative experiences with their rooms, and found the staff friendly and helpful. And they couldn't get enough of the included breakfast! I would definitely recommend the Inn for a western Maine wedding.

very carefree and special. The group coordinators , reception, dinning staff, housekeeping, bartenders all really went above and beyond to accommodate my group and I would highly recommend using the Bethel Inn for your next event.

Our wedding was very memorable thanks to the staff and ownership at the Bethel Inn.
A year later our guest still talk about how it was a wedding worth going to. They talk about...
what a great venue, how enjoyable the setting and activities were and how the event was laid out as we moved through the day without being bored or stressed. The only thing almost always mentioned was how good the food was.
But this is not the end of the story. For our 1st anniversary we returned to the Bethel Inn due to how they served us with planning and hosting the wedding.
Once again they were more accommodating than expected and priced within our budget.
Thank you Tammy James and please thank all the staff as we look forward to returning each year and more if we can fit it into our busy schedules.
I strongly recommend the Bethel Inn. We looked at 25 - 30 venues. We had a smaller than average budget. Once we met with Tammy and worked out what we thought would be everything we wanted and on our budget, then the Bethel Inn staff went to work and the value just kept going up from there. They did not need to provide any more than originally agreed upon and they certainly did not need to do it for the same price, but they kept on working with us until our wedding was much more than our guest expected and it is an event we are very proud off.

ed so we never really had to worry about schedules or anything she just guided us making our day a lot less stressful. The food was amazing and the cake was awesome. They did such a great job on our wedding cake we were so surprised and excited. I would highly recommend this resort for someone in the furture. THe scenery to is breathtaking making the wedding just so gorgous
