Chef Ben and the Big Bad Food Truck team were absolutely amazing. From the complimentary tasting with my parents (where we got to sample all of his incredible BBQ offerings) to the wedding day itself, Ben was upbeat, professional, and so much fun to work with. He was thoughtful about guests’ allergies, provided vendor meals at no extra cost, and made the planning process easy and enjoyable. On the wedding day, our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—truly some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Book them if you want both amazing food and an amazing experience!
Ben and the Big Bad are the gold standard for what catering services and vendors should be. He was nothing but communicative and responsive from the start of our wedding planning experience, walking me through the timeline and details since I was DIYing everything without a coordinator or a planner. The tasting was superb with generous portions and honest-to-God he can cook anything and it’ll be delicious.
We had 120 guests with cocktail appetizers, dinner, dessert, smores and coffee, and everyone was well fed and raving about the food all night. The day was windier than expected and he seamlessly changed plans from truck-side service to buffet style, and executed it perfectly without interrupting the reception at all. He accommodated all dietary restrictions and even brought out additional lobster rolls to guests who missed them.
I can’t say enough good things about The Big Bad, I feel so lucky to have found them and can’t recommend them highly enough!
