The Big Bang Event Design

Chris is AMAZING!! The Big Bang did the florals for our 7/1/17 wedding at Scribner Bend Vineyards. Because our venue was outdoors and already gorgeous, I wanted the flowers and centerpieces to enhance the environment without overpowering it, and The Big Bang NAILED IT! From the beginning, Chris was very prompt with his responses and worked with me to create my vision and exceed my expectations...a lifesaver being a out of town bride who was planning her wedding from 400 miles away.

I emailed the Big Bang once and didn't hear back,but ended up emailing again a month or two later and heard back from Chris. I was a little nervous as a result, but as soon as I met Chris and he showed me ideas he had to bring my preferences to life, I knew I had found the right guy. I did NOT micromanage my vendors, particularly Chris, and I later heard from someone else that these are the conditions that Chris thrives under. I knew what colors I wanted, that I wanted moss and birch, candles, and some glamour (do those even go together??) and showed his pictures I had had pinned. After that, he was off to the races. The only things I was specific about was that I didn't want carnations or succulents, and that I HAD to have a few moss covered squirrels...somewhere - weird, I know, but people seriously took pictures with them at the wedding and even took them home because they were so awesome and cute. Hopefully that was allowed! When I walked in the day of the wedding, the room was perfect. The colors, the three types of centerpieces, the decorations on the fireplace and for the ceremony, the bouquets and flower girl's basket - everything was just as I wanted it even though I didn't know exactly what I wanted. The only thing I wish I'd thought of was coordinating pick-up of the bouquets so they'd be there in time for my photos, which we took before the ceremony. We had them in time for the last round, and it all worked out, but it never occurred to me to coordinate that. Chris gets frazzled and is very busy - he may not respond to your email the first time - but persevere. He is fantastic at what he does and you will not regret hiring him!

I loved working with Chris! He really exceeded my expectations. What is so great about him is that he isn't just a florist, he is a designer. He really has a eye for design and decoration. I showed him pictures of what I wanted and he delivered. My bouquet flowers were so beautiful and dramatic. I really wanted something that was grand and not cookie cutter. My bridesmaid bouquets were also way more beautiful than I expected. We also ordered chargers to make the tables look more complete. The centerpieces were perfect. We had floating candles and normal candles with flowers intermixed. And the flowers lasted for almost 2 weeks! He also covered our cake in a cascade of flowers which was so spectacular! I have never seen so many flowers on a cake a one time:) We also rented a runner for the church from Chris which was beautful. He made pretty bows out of ribbon for the isles and decorated the candelabras up front with flowers. Overall I loved his style and everything that he did for us and I was surprised by how much our budget bought us. Thank you Chris for making our wedding so stunning!

Chris and his team created beautiful floral arrangements for my wedding. My guests are still talking about how breathtaking they were! Big Bang is so much more than just floral design...as event designers, they can direct you and assist you with every detail of your event! They provided us with floral, linen rentals, up-lighting, and finishing touches. I had no idea what types of flowers I wanted...I only had a color scheme. The end result was absolutely gorgeous and true Creative Genius!!!
