The Big Day Photography

asked me for photos I would like to recreate to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Throughout our shoot she referenced them to make sure she had captured every single one. She was on time and so kind, she made it seem like we have known her our entire life. She made my future husband and I feel so relaxed and guided us throughout the entire shoot. es the time to get to know the couple early on; which helps create a more personal and custom experience and relieves stress when it comes to the wedding day. My wife and I secured Kim/The Big Day Photography early on to ensure she was available for our wedding day and location (just outside of Seattle, WA). She then detailed her expansive and generous packages and helped us figure out the best fit. We made payments via a secure and user-friendly website. Kim helped us determine an engagement photo shoot location that was both personable and a gorgeous. She even thought everything through down to having fun music playing in the background. My wife and I had a great time in this session and Kim really made it feel genuine and free with natural poses; not rigid with forced poses. We were absolutely ecstatic and stunned with the quality and angles from the engagement shoot. They were delivered over a password protected website and downloading/ordering prints was incredibly easy. This confirmed what I said earlier, Kim is the best photographer ever! Mind you, this was just the engagement photo shoot!! Prior to the wedding, Kim takes care of logistics with an extensive form detailing locations, times, and what are your must-have pictures. We asked if we could include our dog and she was totally happy with it! When it came to the wedding day, there were no worries having Kim around and being on time. This was perfect given a bit of travel to our venue (Roche Harbor Resort). We provided a schedule and map of the locations and Kim was sure to show up at the right place at the right time. She got great coverage of the getting ready moments and helped scout out good first look spots. Kim also kept us calm and timely throughout the morning as we were getting ready. She was a pro with our first look and knew the right pictures to get; including some requests from us to get certain objects (airplanes) in the shot. She took care of timely organizing people with pre ceremony wedding party and family shots. We didn’t even notice her during the ceremony (because I was rightfully focused on my gorgeous bride), but we completely trusted her with getting those candid, perfect pictures. After the ceremony, we did a few more family pictures and then she took us to one of her favorite spots at the resort to take more couple pictures. Kim captured all the key moments at the reception from the table settings/centerpieces to signing the certificate, speeches, dances, and candid guest shots. We got our wedding pictures about 6 weeks after the big day again through an email link to a password protected website. She had them organized by tabs: getting ready, first look, pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception. Also, Kim sent a flash drive (with our wedding date) inside an adorable protective cover with two pictures from our wedding. Throughout our wedding day, we had no concerns with Kim as she took care of everything photography related. The image quality, style of pictures/poses, ease of delivery, and competitive pricing were already enough to make us choose The Big Day Photography. Add an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and organized photographer and I don’t know if you could ever choose anyone different to capture your wedding! Thank you for everything Kim!!
