This is a one stop shop and Mr. Tom was absolutely a lifesaver. He was very accommodating and had everything we needed from the wedding canopy to the carriage for my flowergirl. The furniture was beautiful and added elegance to our photos. Everything was reasonably priced and they worked with us to get us everything we needed. You would not go wrong if you used their services.
Let me tell you something! Save yourself some trouble and rent from Big Day! The customer service is superior and they offer a great deal of options and services. The best part is that Tom treated me with so much compassion and understanding. I was so frustrated and at one time while speaking with Tom, he acknowledged the overwhelming frustration in my voice. He assured me that it will be okay and that I would be well taken care of. That sentiment went a long way! Tom, thank you and Big Day is a 10/10!
Initially, my experience with Mr. Randy from Big Day Rentals was great until he charged me over $2,000 for decorations that I did not use on the day of my wedding. Back story this was a destination wedding for us and their policy is no changes within 30 days. So I was going to drive down 30 days to FL prior to my wedding to see if the platform we had wanted was going to work, but Mr. Randy said that he would make a special exception for me and allow me to come down 3 days prior to and let him know. When we saw each other on the Wednesday prior to the wedding I told him it wasn't going to work, which he agree with and I even brought down the total number of my chairs from 100 to 80 and was still charged for 100 chairs. I didn't even care because he was so helpful prior too. But when he charge me over $2,000 for a platform that wasn't used that's where I draw the line. I will never recommend this merchant for anyone to use. Poor business!
Randy and Merri were such a pleasure to work with. Randy spent countless hours talking with us to make sure we had the perfect layout. The furniture we rented was absolutely beautiful and in great shape.
Our Venue made us move cocktail hour half an hour before the wedding was set to begin (nightmare, I know), but Randy and his staff pushed through with smiles and managed to work their magic in that short period of time. He stayed the whole night to make sure everything went smoothly and even took the time to chat with my fiance and I. If you want a vendor that truly cares, then Big Day Rentals is the way to go. We truly appreciated your hard work!

Our rentals from The Big Day were GORGEOUS and an excellent bang for your buck. They were easy to work with, responsive, and all around nice people. We also used Lisa's coordination services, which I HIGHLY recommend. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was a pleasure to work with.
We rented tables, bar tables and chairs from
Big Day and loved them! The service and furniture were both perfect for our wedding!
I'm quite honestly surprised by the previous good reviews with this company. I did exhaustive research before going with a rental company and was extremely disappointed.
-For starters, this was the only wedding vendor I had to contact multiple times to get a response. After I paid my deposit, I had two email twice before receiving a response.
- Because scheduling is of importance of a wedding, I reached out a month out requesting info about a window that we could expect the delivery of the rentals. I was told I would not know until the week of. Not a deal breaker, but inconvenient. I followed up the week of and was told I would know my time window (morning or afternoon) the day before drop-off. I know things move slower in the South, but not knowing when all of the seating was going to be dropped off was not what I wanted to be panicking about the day before our wedding.
- The delivery arrived within the window provided the day prior. However, the house we rented as our venue had a strict no-smoking on premises policy. When dropping off the rentals, the girl immediately lit up a cigarette. I kid you not, there was a cigarette in her mouth as she was unloading lacquered wood benches. I was in shock at the audacity, but kindly requested she put out the cigarette given it was a no-smoking property. If the owner sees this on camera, we can lose our security deposit..
- For what you pay for the rentals, as well as what you pay for a less than perfect return of the rentals, I was pretty disappointed in quality. Linens covered the tables, so no big. But the cushions were less than clean, and the wood benches were falling apart- nails sticking out of the wood, pretty dinged up.
-And the final straw... The rentals were supposed to be picked up on Saturday. No time provided, just that they better be ready for pick up or you will be charged! Being nervous about this, my husband and I woke up early the morning after the wedding to ensure all was ready to go and wait for the pick up. By 3:00 pm I was panicked. I knew they stopped picking up around 4pm and didn't do pick ups on Sunday and we needed to be completely out of our venue early the next morning. I called and emailed many times, but quickly found out they are unreachable on weekends... yes an event company! I finally received an email at 9pm saying sorry they didn't show, they'll be picked up in the morning. No specific time or concern that I needed to be completely out of our venue at risk of significant charge. I never received confirmation of pickup. Instead, my parents changed their trip plans and hung around Destin an extra day so they could check back and make sure they were finally picked up. It also required extra money and communication with the venue since they didn't uphold their word. I write this review so no other bride has to endure the extra stress we did. My last day with family and friends was spent worrying and coordinating and my first day of our honeymoon was spent checking in to make sure the items were picked up. And I have yet to hear from the vendor. I strongly suggest you go with ANYONE but this company. I may not get my money or Saturday with family back, but I will be certain to warn others so they cannot wrongly take from others.
We could not have been more pleased with the service we received and how the staff of The Big Day Event Rentals delivered for our wedding day! Their rental prices were very reasonable compared to other vendors we researched, and everything we ordered was in great condition when it arrived.
In addition, being responsive and solution-oriented is right at the top of the list of what makes a great company, and that’s exactly what we got from The Big Day Event Rentals through the entire process.
On what was probably one of the busiest event days of the wedding season (the Saturday before Columbus Day), they came through and made sure that a small delivery error was corrected in time for our ceremony.
We are very thankful for their contribution to our special day.
I went to the Big Day after getting quotes from several other vendors for rentals (tents, tables, chairs, linens) and lighting for my wedding. Not only were their prices better, but they were easy to work with. Kaley did a great job helping me decide what I needed and she was very flexible and helpful. Would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the panhandle area!
The Big Day has so many options to make your wedding day amazing! We chose simple and it was wonderful! They were so helpful and willing to allow me to change my mind multiple times! She emailed pictures of items to me when I needed to see something. They had everything we needed and more that we never thought about, but rented because it was a great idea! They made our Big Day perfect! Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, a hurricane wanted to come through during my wedding weekend and caused a few issues. For one, we had to change to an indoor venue, so I no longer needed the tent. Which, I felt that I shouldn't have to lose the 50% down due to uncontrollable circumstances. And I hoped they could resell it to another bride. In the end, they refunded 50% of the tent. And we still had to pay for the new venue space and 50% of the tent we didn't use. We still used all of the tables and such that were already rented as planned. At the end of the day, I had hoped they would have worked with us a bit better but I understood they were losing money as well. My day was gorgeous and the rentals were great so I have no complaints there at all! I appreciated their hard work! And of course there was absolutely no rain that day and we could have had the day as planned.
Merri and the team at Big Day were so down to earth and pleasant to work with when I planned my wedding in Rosemary Beach last April. Their pricing was very competitive when it came to tables, chairs, linens and beach arbor and they were even able to provide us with things like a beach wheelchair for my grandfather. They came to the rescue on my wedding day providing high chairs for us at the last minute when some of our guests decided not to leave their kiddos with a sitter during the reception after all. They were very flexible when adjustments needed to be made to our orders and they had a working relationship with our florist and our catering company so everyone was able to work together to get me the best pricing possible. You could tell they had our best interests in mind and were truly a nice family-owned business where they took pride in the relationships they cultivated and their work. Best of all, they were a pleasure to speak with and very easy to work with throughout the planning process. I’d highly recommend them for your next event!

make sure that you get every detail documented before your wedding.I would also recommend that you visit with the company if you're planning a destination wedding with them. the value was great the service however I was way below par. basically they charge me for things that they did not provide. when I confrontedwhen I confronted the owner of the company she did not act as though she was very customer service oriented and was only worried about her bottom line. she did not work to give me any money back or offer any solutions just stating over and over again that it wasn't her policy it wasn't her policy. the company was supposed to deliver the chairs at the beach which the day they did not and I was not prepared on my wedding day to have the people there to set up chairs on the beach in the middle of the day so I was charged for many services that they're supposed to cover. Bottom line I would not recommend using this company because they are only worried about making money off of people from out of state.
We rented 150 white folding chairs, several tables, an arch, and a few small things. The chairs were very gross and wouldn't scrub clean. Also, they forgot to add an extra table to my list when we went in to book it.
I used Big Day Rentals for my wedding. They were very professional and consultative through the whole process. My main point of contact was Merri who was great to work with! I would recommend them if you need rentals for your wedding!
I was not too impressed with this company. I ordered 60 chairs, 6 tables, 2 buffet tables, and linens. The charges for linens were so high that I was able to buy linens for half the price and keep them. So I cancelled my linen order. Then once I paid the deposit I was told I had to finalize my order 30 days before the wedding. This made me happy because I would have my RSVPs back by then. Not even a week later (60 days before the wedding) they emailed me and told me I needed to finalize my order right away because they were booking up fast. I had no idea how many people would be coming yet so I had to wing it. Finally, on my wedding day I was told they would deliver everything in the AM. At 11:30 am I told my dad to call them and at least make sure they were on the way since the store was about 45 minutes from my wedding house. When my father called he was told that they were at least 2 hours away and didn't even have the stuff they needed for my wedding. They were in the middle of another delivery. It was like they forgot about my wedding. So after some "motivation" from my dad, they said they would finish their delivery and go straight back to the store to get my stuff and bring it. One poor man came by himself and delivered my stuff about an hour and a half later. I made my wedding party help him unload. Of course they came early AM Sunday though. The prices on the tables and chairs was not too high though so I can appreciate that. I was just a little upset with the sudden need to order immediately and not have things on the way when I was told they would be.
I agree with the review below me. Once the sale was made I became a bother with any question or concern that I may have. When our linens were delivered the day of the wedding we were surprised to find that our lapis linens were indeed white! BIG difference. They were willing to "help" with fixing this mistake. Although their help took hours to arrive, and by that time we had already made it "work". They did refund our money, but it was a big snag in the prewedding festivites. Wedding still turned out fabulous, but I am not sure that I would recommend this company. My friends had the same issue with their linens through this company.
I was very excited about having Big Day Rentals provide all the linens, chair covers, sashes and ceiling drapery for my ceremony. When I first met with them they offered great ideas and seemed excited to help. However, once the sale was made, it seemed as though I was a bother to them. Then I found out that they did not set up the room, this was not told to me when I made the reservations. Once I found out, I offered to pay for them to help set-up and was told no one was available and I was on my own. Even when I went to pick everything up, I had to wait 30 minutes to be acknowledged and when I asked for how to tie the chair sashes I was treated like I was an idiot. I was disappointed in their service overall. BUT the room turned out beautifully!
