He sent over a detailed intake form to understand our needs, highlight key moments, and ensure important guests were captured. Leading up to the wedding, I was stressed trying to coordinate makeup, rehearsal, and separate photo timelines for the bridal party and groomsmen. Bryan smartly reminded me: “starting time of photo shoot means Everyone needs to be dressed up and ready.” That small tip helped me rethink and better structure the day. On the big day, Bryan and his team showed up prepared with clear action plans. They helped separate the bridal party and groomsmen before the ceremony, ensuring everything ran smoothly. While Bryan led the creative direction, I want to give a special shoutout to Angie, who was truly the hero of the day. When my planner went MIA, Angie came to the bridal suite, introduced herself, and immediately stepped in to help. My bridesmaids and mom struggled with the tight wedding gown—but Angie jumped in and got me dressed. She even guided me and my dad to avoid being seen too early before the aisle walk (after my husband accidentally caught a glimpse of me!). Later, when none of us could figure out the bustle—even after watching videos from my tailor—Angie appeared again and did it in minutes. I honestly wanted to give half of my planner’s fee to her. She’s that amazing. The day was windy, but Bryan, Nick, and Angie captured every meaningful moment with grace. Bryan gave us gentle direction for poses, and the results were absolutely beautiful. Even better? We received a preview just 2 days later, and the full album and video were delivered in 3 weeks (despite the 5–8 week lead time). Bryan even offered to add in key moments I wanted to see—without extra charge. This team went above and beyond in every way. If you want more than a vendor, if you want a team who truly cares about your day and makes it better—book Bryan and his team. You’ll be so glad you did.

erns about being a plus-size bride and getting put in poses that were not natural for me or wouldn't look good. Bryan made me feel so comfortable as soon as we started shooting - he took all of my worries into consideration, and I felt super seen. He gave me great direction on how to pose, he changed things up when the energy was dwindling, and he gave me (much appreciated) tips like when to stand up taller or hold my bouquet a different way. I brought a mood board to our initial consultation that (admittedly) stretched a bit outside of the aesthetic i saw on Bryan's website in hopes of creating inspiration. Bryan and the team ran with this and made that inspo come to life in their own way. For those specific poses/images I wanted to capture, Bryan made it happen in a really organic, natural way. I was very clear with Bryan that we wanted to enjoy our day as much as possible and not to pull us away too much for pictures. He was SO respectful of this. At one point, the lighting during cocktail hour was PERFECT, and he literally set a 5-minute timer to capture photos - when the timer was up, he let us go. I really appreciated the balance of getting amazing (and honestly, some of my favorite pics captured that day) while still respecting our desire to enjoy our party fully. Everything was intentional. Bryan never had anyone standing around, he shot quickly and had his team gather different folks to shoot things simultaneously, so not a minute of pre-ceremony photos was wasted. I will be hiring Bryan for all my future family photos - no question!

After doing much research I came across Main Squeeze photography which was a couple that did wedding photography. I inquired however they were already booked for my wedding date. I asked if they recommended anyone with similar style. They immediately replied with Bird & The bear and told me that they had actually shot their wedding. I knew that if these photographers used The bird and the Bear for their wedding they had to be good! And they were not wrong! Bryan and his team made my husband and I feel so comfortable when taking photos we are both shy people and he made all our nerves disappear when it came to photos. We got our photos during our honeymoon and we could not have been happier. Every moment of our day was captured so beautifully. We also did a highlight film from them and WOW it brought tears to both our eyes. Reliving the moment is so precious and we have only the Bird & the Bear to thank for. Bryan is quick to reply with emails and was always so nice. If you are stressed about finding the best photographer and Videographer you have to book these guys they will not disappoint.

I decided in the moment that I wanted to do a first look with my Dad, and The Bird and The Bear team were flexible and accommodating, and now those are some of my favorite photos! Also, we were SO glad we did videography with this team -- there is something so special about having footage from the day, and the video captures the emotion of the day perfectly, and brings all of the emotion back. videographer package. From our initial point to contact to post-wedding communication, Bryan has been extremely professional, reliable, and so easy to work with! In fact, he and his team were able to provide us with AMAZING edited sneak-peek photos THE DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING! Our initial wedding date was postponed from April 19th to October 5th of this year due to the pandemic, and Bryan was able to accommodate our changes without any extra charges or re-negotiating our initial contract. Nick and I were anxious about our initial photoshoot but Bryan made things so organic and fluid, we had a great time with our photoshoot and the pictures turned out so much better than we would’ve imagined! We asked Bryan pretty late in the game if there was any way he’d be able to live-stream our ceremony for the family and friends who weren’t able to make it, and he was able to accommodate that without any problems. Bryan, Caryn, Jorge, and Jody were able to capture the most intimate and magical details of our special day without being intrusive at all, and for that we’re extremely grateful and we ABSOLUTELY recommend them! From the beginning, Bryan was accommodating and willing to work with me to create a photography package that fit our unique needs and timeline (we had a Sunday brunch wedding!). r. They are awesome in their professionalism as well as their quality of work. They even store the pictures on their web-server so you could share with your friends with the pictures of your choosing. We had some outside shots shortly after the ceremony; it was winter and it was getting cold. These guys stood with us, helped us with the poses, and tried every angle to make our permanent pieces of memory looking perfect. They also have a great knowledge of the time and the location of the venue to make sure you get the best shots. We are very grateful for their hard work and dedications. We definitely recommend them to be your photographer and videographer.
