About this vendor
The Black Barn is a romantic farm wedding venue located in Orlando, FL. This setting expertly blends modern conveniences with classic rustic charm, helping to set the scene for an unforgettable celebration. It's conveniently located just minutes away from Highways 417 and 408. In addition to ceremonies and receptions, the barn is available to host elopements and vow renewals.
The Black Barn sits on five acres of working farmland and houses various farm animals as well as a market for locally grown produce. Celebrations held here have an air of exclusivity and privacy, thanks to the lush foliage around the site. Couples can start their day by getting ready in the stylish dressing suite, putting the finishing touches to their finery. Then, begin the festivities by exchanging vows in the open chapel, before moving to a celebratory cocktail hour illuminated by whimsical market lighting. Inside the barn, high ceilings and clean white walls create a sense of airiness. The barn is illuminated by chandeliers and features wooden posts throughout, adding some timeless rustic accents to the modern space. The team here embraces minimalism in their color palette and design, making it the perfect blank canvas for your vision.
The people behind The Black Barn are excited to share their picturesque venue with people as they celebrate their milestones. They're ready to support you as you bring your vision to life. They're also happy to work through Spanish, helping you to feel comfortable. Various event rentals are included with the use of the barn, like tables, chairs, linens, and lighting. Decor can be provided, if requested.

ea, every detail photographed beautifully and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it.
The staff was professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. They made everything feel organized and were always willing to answer questions and help however they could.
Our wedding day went so smoothly, and we were able to truly enjoy every moment. We’re incredibly grateful for the experience and would highly recommend The Black Barn to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue with a wonderful team behind it.

g—beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. Everywhere you turn feels like a photo moment, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous everything was.
The team at The Black Barn was incredible to work with. They were attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day run smoothly. We always felt supported, and their communication throughout the planning process brought so much peace of mind. On the wedding day, everything flowed effortlessly thanks to their coordination and professionalism.
If you’re looking for a venue that’s elegant, intimate, and uniquely memorable, The Black Barn is truly a dream. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and we’re so grateful we chose this beautiful place to start our forever.
Loved that our special day was held here. We chose to go with the platinum package and we did not need to get much for additional decorations. This was crucial for us since we did ...
not live close to the Black Barn. I would most definitely recommend this venue 10/10 to anybody else.
I've always dreamed of a barn wedding. When searching for barn venues in the Central Florida area, I knew I wanted to tour this venue right away. It's such a sleek and modern venue...
, with a touch of rustic chic. It doesn't require a lot of decor, It's simply beautiful on it's own. After touring with my fiancé, I was ready to book. We fell in love with it. The Black Barn team did a phenomenal job every step of the process before and after booking. They constantly kept in communication with us and were very accommodating. They are very professional but also make you feel like family. We recently just had our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Our guests are still in awe of the venue, they've been raving about how unique and beautiful the property was and how nice all the staff were.
Also, they also provided a list of amazing preferred vendors which we ended up booking as well. If you're considering this venue or looking for a beautiful barn venue, I'd recommend touring the property to see for yourself. I would 100% book again for future events!
I had my wedding at The Black Barn this past spring, and overall we had a great experience! It has its rustic elements, but it definitely feels like a cool, elevated venue. We were...
able to see the venue three times before the big day — an initial tour, an open house event, and a planning meeting. Everyone who worked there was friendly, approachable, and great about answering our questions, which we had a lot of. We booked the package that included decor, and it was nice to have one less thing to think about. It included faux flowers and an arch for the ceremony, faux flowers and table decor for the reception, and other small items. Everything looked really nice, and the faux flowers were high-quality. I supplemented with bouquets for me and the bridal party, but I didn’t feel the need to add more florals or much decor.
It was great to have so many different spaces all in one place, and we used ALL of them. The getting-ready suites for the bride and groom are both spacious with a lot of amenities. The indoor ceremony space is really neat, although it’s a bit bare so that was the one space where we ended up adding more decor beyond what we paid for. We had our dinner in the indoor reception space, which has a separate area for the caterers to prepare and serve the buffet. Our cocktail hour and dancing were in the outdoor pavilion. It seems like most people have dancing inside the reception space, but it is VERY loud in there and sound echoes like crazy. I was thrilled with having the band and dancing outside, and would recommend that if your event is happening when the weather allows it.
I loved having everything in one place, and pretty much everything went off without a hitch. We noticed some things around the venue that could be improved. The wifi is pretty bad, and we were streaming the ceremony for my husband’s grandma, so that was a point of stress. They didn’t have a podium for the officiant, which I didn’t realize until the day before during the rehearsal. He ended up using a cocktail table, which looked a little funny. You aren’t supposed to flush toilet paper in the bathrooms, which is odd and really unexpected for a wedding venue. The parking is in a dirt/grass lot, which isn’t ideal, and the grass around the groom’s suite was unmowed.
Aside from those things, there were some cleanliness issues that surprised us. The floors of the getting-ready suites were a bit dirty when we got there, and the groom’s suite had a sewer smell. The suites didn’t have any towels or paper towels, even in the bathrooms, so one of the groomsmen had to go out to get some for us. The windows of the ceremony space had dead flies in the sills. If the venue were actually a barn, these things wouldn’t have been so surprising, but it’s a venue adjacent to a farm.
Even with those negatives, we’re still so glad we chose The Black Barn! Our guests were impressed by the venue and decor. It’s a great place if you want to have everything all in one location. It feels upscale but not stuffy, is unique in the Orlando area, and has everything you need for an amazing wedding day!
Do yourself a favor and book the Black Barn !!!
It was the MOST unique venue we saw and knew immediately that it was "the one!" The venue sells itself but what made it better was...
the fact that the staff is super friendly and easy to work with! They accommodated our 150 closest family and friends. Plus the included decor package was such a dream!
The bridal suite is amazing (I had 11 people getting ready in there and we all fit comfortably). Ample parking! Great vibes! Vendors loved it too! 11/10 recommend!

offered (lol). From start to finish, Lia (and the rest of the BB team) was quick to answer all of our questions and accommodate all of our crazy requests...and we had a lot! When it came to wedding day, everything was perfect. Our guests couldn't stop admiring and complementing the venue and how perfect it fit our "vibe" as a couple. Our goal was to have a big party with all of our friends and the Black Barn was the perfect place to do it.
From the moment we first toured The Black Barn, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. Lia, the venue manager, was so kind and welcoming, answering every question we had...
and making us feel at ease. The venue is truly a hidden gem in Orlando — conveniently close to Starbucks, Publix, and Walmart, but once you're there, it feels like you're miles away from the city. It's so private and secluded, making it the ideal escape for a peaceful, intimate celebration.
One of the things we loved most about The Black Barn is how it blends rustic charm with modern elegance. The barn itself is absolutely stunning, and the horses out front added such a beautiful touch to the property. We also opted to take photos with the horses for an additional cost, and we’re so glad we did — those photos are priceless!
The bridal and groom suites are nothing short of stunning. They were perfectly equipped for us upon arrival, and getting ready there felt like a dream. We felt so pampered and relaxed in such a beautiful space. The ceremony chapel is breathtaking — the natural light pouring through the windows created the perfect ambiance for our vows. It truly felt magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to say "I do."
After the ceremony, the cocktail area was cozy and inviting, and the lawn games were a huge hit with our guests. The fact that it was a chilly day only added to the charm, as The Black Barn thoughtfully provided fire pits to keep everyone warm and comfortable.
The reception space is absolutely gorgeous — clean, spacious, and perfect for bringing our vision to life. Everything was so well-organized, and the space flowed beautifully from the ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing. We honestly couldn’t have imagined our wedding anywhere else.
We joke and say, “Let’s get married again,” and if we did, it would absolutely be at The Black Barn — we would do it over and over again! Thank you to Lia and the entire team for making our wedding day a dream come true. We are forever grateful!

ecoration created the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly from the planning stages to the last dance. Our guests raved about the venue. It rained on our day and because everything was covered, nothing was missed. Overall, the black barn exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn't have imagined a more magical place to celebrate our love. Highly recommended!

elp with inspiration for your big day. This was one of the only places I could find in central Florida that allowed us to be both inside and outside for everything. We ended up staying inside most of the time as we got married in August and it was perfect. Dreamscape photography has a great video posted on YouTube if you want to get a feel for the venue before you see it. 10000% would recommend this place to everyone! So many great photo ops here too!

aff at The Black Barn went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect, accommodating all our needs with a smile. Lia made it an absolute breeze to hold our wedding ceremony and reception here, from the moment we took our first tour to every time I emailed and texted her with my questions throughout the planning process. We chose to go with the Platinum package as they have an incredible selection of decor and we were able to add our own personal touches to those, this made the planning and set up process so much easier! The setting was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our photos and creating a magical atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests are still raving about the beauty and elegance of the venue. We highly recommend Lia and The Black Barn to anyone looking for an unforgettable place to hold their wedding or celebration!
It goes without question that this venue absolutely speaks for itself. Truly, you could use zero decorations and still have the most stunning drop dead gorgeous wedding because the...
space is BEAUTIFULLY designed from top to bottom. Something as simple as the greenery used by the bar, to the elevated DJ booth, to the separate buffet area, and of course the amazing ceremony space. Including all of the decor they already own makes it even easier, and justifies the price. The venue manager did change between when I booked and wedding day, and I really wish they had let me know. I was super confused when I stopped hearing from the first girl, and when the second girl was the one letting us in for meetings we were questioning if we had met her before. MANY things were left unsaid - such as, we didn't know until our 30 day final check that we needed to pay for the horse handler to come if we wanted pictures with the horse. This was a small fee and we easily accepted, but if I never asked about it in that final meeting I never would have known! Then on wedding day I never would have had the horse available! I chalk this up to the previous girl not being as good, and the newer girl was absolutely fabulous and very detail oriented. She truly thought of everything, she just (through no fault of her own being the newer hire) didn't know we weren't aware of some things. Hopefully this is no longer an issue because this girl is lovely and seems here to stay!
The Black Barn was the perfect wedding venue every bride could dream of! This was the ONLY venue I toured and before halfway through I knew I wanted my wedding here. They make it s...
uper easy to work with (Lia you and your team are amazing), all our vendors loved the property, you have everything from getting ready, cocktail hour, ceremony and reception all on site. The attention to details for every spot is incredible. Our guests raved about this location. I 100% recommend this venue in a heartbeat. Thank you The Black Barn for making our dream wedding magical.

legant barn setting conveniently located right in Orlando on the east side of town. Super convenient!
The venue itself is STUNNING with indoor and outdoor settings. Every detail was carefully thought out at this venue. And to be honest, I do not know of any other modern barn setting that offers an INDOOR ceremony setting that is absolutely gorgeous.
The staff was incredible (Leah and Cassidy) and so accommodating.
Soundwave Entertainment can't wait to celebrate more weddings at The Black Barn!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I cannot give enough praise to this beautiful venue. Every part of every location is gorgeous (straight down to the bride and groom getting ready rooms). Lia was wonderful every st...
ep of the way since she started with the venue. Our day was perfect and we could not have done it without her follow up and check ins.
The decor that we chose through the venue was so pretty and they have a very extensive collection to choose from. It really could not have been a better day.
I am so glad I found The Black Barn for our wedding!! I wanted something unique with a specific layout for our guests to enjoy different areas rather than the same room just flippe...
d for reception and I found exactly that with this venue. Their included decor packages save you so much money and the team is amazing to work with. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests because people had seen nothing like it! They took the worn out farmhouse wedding vibe that most venues offer and gave it a modern and chic upgrade! The venue also photographs so well. Beautiful!
The Black Barn was our first and last choice to get married at. The venue is a stunning, modern, aesthetically pleasing, and chic barn. We loved the clean black and white with wood...
texture vibes. The detail that went into this venue is impeccable, from the bridal and groom suites, to the ceremony options, the reception, the bar, food area, everything. We loved the layout too, in the fact that everything was within close proximity. It made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. The decor the venue provides is also really beautiful, we honestly didn’t even need to buy real flowers because the faux flowers looked so real and matched the color scheme we were going for. Our family and friends that attended our wedding said “this was their favorite wedding they’ve ever been to.” We took that as a HUGE compliment! It wouldn’t have been possible without the Black Barn venue coordinators. They had clear communication and were able to accommodate for pretty much everything we needed. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings, graduation parties, baby showers, literally anything! Your guests will be so impressed and you’ll be so happy you booked. This venue has a forever special place in our hearts after having the best wedding ever! We want to do it all over again! Thank you Black Barn for being beautiful, professional and exactly what we pictured!
I cannot say enough great things about this Venue. We wanted to find a venue that was able to accommodate the entire day in one place and this venue does just that. I loved that we...
were able to arrive first thing in the morning to get ready in their bridal sweet. This allowed the morning to be stress free. Our guest didn't have to worry about traveling from Ceremony to reception in this crazy Florida traffic. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and has a great working relationship with the kindest vendors. I am a type A personality, but I was able to relax and enjoy my day because I trusted them 1000%. My guest couldn't say enough positive things about The Black Barn, it truly is a hidden gem.
I had the pleasure of visiting this wedding venue, and I must say, the communication team truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I inquired about hosting an event there, t...
heir professionalism and responsiveness stood out.
The team was not only prompt in replying to my inquiries but also incredibly attentive to my specific needs and preferences. They patiently answered all my questions and provided valuable insights to help me make informed decisions.
What impressed me the most was their proactive approach to communication. They kept me updated at every step of the planning process, ensuring that I felt confident and well-informed throughout. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire experience stress-free.
I highly recommend this wedding venue!
I loved the Black Barn! This venue is the perfect blank slate with so many options to choose from when it comes to decor and table setup and arrangements. This place came with ever...
ything we needed! I would definitely recommend this venue over and over again.
The venue is drop dead gorgeous. From the time we booked to the day of our wedding, the venue continued to expand in the best ways as it was a brand new venue when we first toured....
The faux floral and decor being included was a major added bonus! The venue requires a day-of coordinator, which is a blessing in disguise as the venues communication needs a lot of work. The venue director changed between the time we booked and the big day, and we were never notified or introduced to the new contact. There’s a few kinks they still need to work out, but our big day was perfect here.
The venue itself is 5 stars. It sells itself. As a wedding planner myself the communication is non existent. Bear with me here. If it was not for my amazing coordinator and my expe...
rience in this field I could have never pulled this off. I've tried to reach out to the venue director & owner countless times and no follow through ever. I would set appointments with them and still to this day I have not heard anything and the wedding day has come and gone. The all inclusive turned into limited and rules of the venue changed every time we had a meeting. By the time it came to our final walkthrough most of the inventory was gone. I set every appointment followed by a timeline as a planner. Not once did they reach out to schedule any of it. My beautiful brides please hire great vendors and a coordinator because they will be the ones pulling it together if you decide to wed at the black barn. Planning is stressful as it is and when you pay the amount you do with venues you expect to be treated with some sort of respect and decency. I spent the entire month leading up to my wedding in tears due to this. I have my amazing coordinator, vendors, family and friends to thank for the magic made that day. With a grateful heart and a huge sigh of relief I am so thankful it's over.
