The Black Barn team did a phenomenal job every step of the process before and after booking. They constantly kept in communication with us and were very accommodating. They are very professional but also make you feel like family. We recently just had our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Our guests are still in awe of the venue, they've been raving about how unique and beautiful the property was and how nice all the staff were.
Also, they also provided a list of amazing preferred vendors which we ended up booking as well. If you're considering this venue or looking for a beautiful barn venue, I'd recommend touring the property to see for yourself. I would 100% book again for future events!

able to see the venue three times before the big day — an initial tour, an open house event, and a planning meeting. Everyone who worked there was friendly, approachable, and great about answering our questions, which we had a lot of. We booked the package that included decor, and it was nice to have one less thing to think about. It included faux flowers and an arch for the ceremony, faux flowers and table decor for the reception, and other small items. Everything looked really nice, and the faux flowers were high-quality. I supplemented with bouquets for me and the bridal party, but I didn’t feel the need to add more florals or much decor.
It was great to have so many different spaces all in one place, and we used ALL of them. The getting-ready suites for the bride and groom are both spacious with a lot of amenities. The indoor ceremony space is really neat, although it’s a bit bare so that was the one space where we ended up adding more decor beyond what we paid for. We had our dinner in the indoor reception space, which has a separate area for the caterers to prepare and serve the buffet. Our cocktail hour and dancing were in the outdoor pavilion. It seems like most people have dancing inside the reception space, but it is VERY loud in there and sound echoes like crazy. I was thrilled with having the band and dancing outside, and would recommend that if your event is happening when the weather allows it.
I loved having everything in one place, and pretty much everything went off without a hitch. We noticed some things around the venue that could be improved. The wifi is pretty bad, and we were streaming the ceremony for my husband’s grandma, so that was a point of stress. They didn’t have a podium for the officiant, which I didn’t realize until the day before during the rehearsal. He ended up using a cocktail table, which looked a little funny. You aren’t supposed to flush toilet paper in the bathrooms, which is odd and really unexpected for a wedding venue. The parking is in a dirt/grass lot, which isn’t ideal, and the grass around the groom’s suite was unmowed.
Aside from those things, there were some cleanliness issues that surprised us. The floors of the getting-ready suites were a bit dirty when we got there, and the groom’s suite had a sewer smell. The suites didn’t have any towels or paper towels, even in the bathrooms, so one of the groomsmen had to go out to get some for us. The windows of the ceremony space had dead flies in the sills. If the venue were actually a barn, these things wouldn’t have been so surprising, but it’s a venue adjacent to a farm.
Even with those negatives, we’re still so glad we chose The Black Barn! Our guests were impressed by the venue and decor. It’s a great place if you want to have everything all in one location. It feels upscale but not stuffy, is unique in the Orlando area, and has everything you need for an amazing wedding day!

One of the things we loved most about The Black Barn is how it blends rustic charm with modern elegance. The barn itself is absolutely stunning, and the horses out front added such a beautiful touch to the property. We also opted to take photos with the horses for an additional cost, and we’re so glad we did — those photos are priceless!
The bridal and groom suites are nothing short of stunning. They were perfectly equipped for us upon arrival, and getting ready there felt like a dream. We felt so pampered and relaxed in such a beautiful space. The ceremony chapel is breathtaking — the natural light pouring through the windows created the perfect ambiance for our vows. It truly felt magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to say "I do."
After the ceremony, the cocktail area was cozy and inviting, and the lawn games were a huge hit with our guests. The fact that it was a chilly day only added to the charm, as The Black Barn thoughtfully provided fire pits to keep everyone warm and comfortable.
The reception space is absolutely gorgeous — clean, spacious, and perfect for bringing our vision to life. Everything was so well-organized, and the space flowed beautifully from the ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing. We honestly couldn’t have imagined our wedding anywhere else.
We joke and say, “Let’s get married again,” and if we did, it would absolutely be at The Black Barn — we would do it over and over again! Thank you to Lia and the entire team for making our wedding day a dream come true. We are forever grateful!

space is BEAUTIFULLY designed from top to bottom. Something as simple as the greenery used by the bar, to the elevated DJ booth, to the separate buffet area, and of course the amazing ceremony space. Including all of the decor they already own makes it even easier, and justifies the price. The venue manager did change between when I booked and wedding day, and I really wish they had let me know. I was super confused when I stopped hearing from the first girl, and when the second girl was the one letting us in for meetings we were questioning if we had met her before. MANY things were left unsaid - such as, we didn't know until our 30 day final check that we needed to pay for the horse handler to come if we wanted pictures with the horse. This was a small fee and we easily accepted, but if I never asked about it in that final meeting I never would have known! Then on wedding day I never would have had the horse available! I chalk this up to the previous girl not being as good, and the newer girl was absolutely fabulous and very detail oriented. She truly thought of everything, she just (through no fault of her own being the newer hire) didn't know we weren't aware of some things. Hopefully this is no longer an issue because this girl is lovely and seems here to stay!

The venue itself is STUNNING with indoor and outdoor settings. Every detail was carefully thought out at this venue. And to be honest, I do not know of any other modern barn setting that offers an INDOOR ceremony setting that is absolutely gorgeous.

The faux floral and decor being included was a major added bonus! The venue requires a day-of coordinator, which is a blessing in disguise as the venues communication needs a lot of work. The venue director changed between the time we booked and the big day, and we were never notified or introduced to the new contact. rience in this field I could have never pulled this off. I've tried to reach out to the venue director & owner countless times and no follow through ever. I would set appointments with them and still to this day I have not heard anything and the wedding day has come and gone. The all inclusive turned into limited and rules of the venue changed every time we had a meeting. By the time it came to our final walkthrough most of the inventory was gone. I set every appointment followed by a timeline as a planner. Not once did they reach out to schedule any of it. My beautiful brides please hire great vendors and a coordinator because they will be the ones pulling it together if you decide to wed at the black barn. Planning is stressful as it is and when you pay the amount you do with venues you expect to be treated with some sort of respect and decency. I spent the entire month leading up to my wedding in tears due to this. I have my amazing coordinator, vendors, family and friends to thank for the magic made that day. With a grateful heart and a huge sigh of relief I am so thankful it's over.
