Say your "I Do's" with an epic backdrop of the Needle Mountains. The Black Diamond Lodge offers on-site lodging to turn your wedding from a 3-hour experience into a 3-day experience! Located just 30 minutes from Downtown Durango in the beautiful Hermosa Valley near Purgatory Ski Resort, The Black Diamond Lodge venue provides a central place to celebrate your weddings and create memories with your guests. Accommodations: The Black Diamond Lodge can accommodate up to 46 guests, with 12 bedrooms and private baths. Lodging is billed separately and pricing varies based on season. The lodge is handicap accessible. Your lodging package gives you full private 24-hour access to our spa with two hot tubs, a steam shower, and a sauna, as well as our game room, movie room, and community kitchen and dining room that can sit up to 80 people. Adjacent condominiums can host up to 100 guests in a variety of two and three-bedroom guest rooms. Capacity The Black Diamond Lodge can accommodate weddings of up to 100 guests. I could not picture a more beautiful location to get married at! The lodge is INCREDIBLE with the BEST views. All of my guests loved the amenities and the convenience of staying at the same location. The staff made my whole weekend extra special & paid special attention to the small, key details. I recommend this venue for any couple looking to have a majestic weekend (big or small)

The Silverpick Lodge was the PERFECT venue for a weekend wedding. Chris, Neal, and the rest of the staff are incredibly skilled at what they do. We were able to do as much as we wanted to ourselves and they assisted when necessary. The lodge and meadow are absolutely gorgeous and nearly everyone attending the wedding was able to stay on site or nearby at Purgatory Resort. We had our reception dinner at The Sow’s Ear and the food was amazing. If you’re looking for a truly incomparable experience for your wedding definitely check out the Silverpick. We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!

The Silverpick Lodge is the perfect place for a destination wedding with a party of around 40 people! The lodge is the perfect mix of luxury and practicality. The bedrooms are lovely with hotel style on-suite bathrooms. The common areas are perfect for meals and game nights with your group. As an added bonus, the lodge is located in a beautiful yet easily accessible location -- you can see the San Juan Mountains right out your windows! There are several fantastic hikes within a mile of the lodge. If you choose to rent the SilverPick, you can use a beautiful space in the lawn for your ceremony free of charge! The lodge even provides the chairs and sets them up for you. You can rent the restaurant, the Sow's Ear, for your reception. My gosh, it is such a beautiful venue. The food at the Sow's Ear is simply delicious! The restaurant staff was fantastic through the whole process.

My husband and I reserved the Silverpick Lodge for 3 nights over our wedding weekend in October 2016. I'm from a town near Durango and my mom lives near Silverpick Lodge, so I've been eyeing the lodge as a possible wedding venue for a while as I've always found it beautiful and in an amazing location! Chris Wing at the Silverpick Lodge is great to work with and is super relaxed about things, so it’s a no-stress situation. The lodge is incredibly charming and cozy—it was a perfect place to have everyone be together and make amazing memories! Very highly recommended!! :)

My fiancé (now husband) and I stumbled across the Silverpick Lodge in May of 2015: it was recommended by an acquaintance as a good spot for a wedding. We toured the place and loved that all of our friends could stay in the lodge for the whole weekend (so we could spend time with people outside the few hours the reception was). There was a place to host breakfast and another place to host a welcome dinner, hot tubs, a sauna, the rooms were nice, and everyone could check in and pay whatever price we set. And there was a great restaurant there that would do our reception! Everything we'd hoped for worked out: our friends had a blast, Chris (the owner/manager) was great to work with, the reception in the restaurant was great, and there was even a stunning location available for our ceremony, a meadow up the road (though it's not always available), and chair setup came with our lodge rental. Family and those with children rented condos, and everyone who attended was able to stay there and enjoy themselves. I highly recommend Silverpick for having a destination wedding: if I had to do it over again, there's not a single thing I'd change.

The Silverpick Lodge is a great venue! It is small enough to feel intimate yet big enough to allow the majority of you guests to stay the weekend! I would definitely recommend it for brides that want to take the driving out of the wedding day! The ceremony site, reception site, and lodging are all in one beautiful location! If you want things a certain way you are going to have to do it but they seem to let guests do whatever they wish!

This place is PERFECT for holding a wedding! You, your friends, and family get free roam of the place ALL weekend and that way no one has to drive, so everyone can focus on having a good time! We had a wild crowd that partied till 5am both Friday and Saturday! We had a ton of fun and everyone commented that it was the one of the most fun weddings they had been to. I would have given it 5 stars but they don't allow dogs and that was tough since our dog was the ring bearer!

It was such a beautiful location our guests were very impressed with the lodge the food and overall accomodations. The staff was friendly and everything was perfect.;There is no air conditioning in the lodge so it can get hot!
