To start we were running late and I called and spoke to the manager and told her I would be there in 6 or 7 minutes and if that was still ok to which she replied it is not a problem you have an hour long session. When we arrived the only associate that does their fittings was rude and dismissive and told us that he had cancelled our appointment and there was nothing that he could do. When pressed he said he had another appointment in 20 minutes and walked away. This was a lie as his manager told us on the phone and again when we spoke with her afterwards that we indeed did have an hour long appointment. Since we were at Nordstrom's we expressed our frustration and wish to get fitted and we sat there for almost half an hour while they searched for the black tux employee who does their fittings. When he finally came back his attitude was worse and he was combative at the least. He told us again the reasons why he could not help us and then said with attitude that he would measure me but that we would not have time to try anything on. At this point I wanted nothing to do with him and told him that if he had helped us from the beginning given we had already been here for well over 30 minutes that we could have been done and out the door. He then proceeded to yell at us and when we asked for his manager he told us to get her ourselves to which we did. Ultimately, given the poor experience we would never do business with The Black Tux and frankly can't believe that a store like Nordstrom's that prides itself with great service would even allow for a company of this caliber to operate within its walls.

within 3 days I had a replacement shipped out. I tried to buy the "James Bond" style white tux off another website and was severely disappointed. The jacket was dirty, the material looked cheap, and threads were popping out of it all over. Not to mention that it didn't fit. That's on me for trusting shaky looking websites on a whim. The jacket from the Black tux looked exactly how I envisioned it would look and fit. So much so that it ended up being my ceremony/reception option after all! e were able to book an appointment at the nearest store online very easily (within a few weeks of when we went to make the appointment). At the appointment, my husband’s measurements were taken & he was able to try on different pieces to see how they would look on himself. From there, he was able to pick his look & it was put into an online portal. From the portal, we then had the opportunity to either buy or rent the whole look or just parts of the look. From there, we could duplicate the look or modify it to achieve the look for the groomsmen & then the ushers. After building each of the looks, we input email addresses for each party member & they received notifications of what they needed to rent (or buy if they wanted to) for our wedding. At the same time, we were able to follow along to see where everyone was in the process – i.e. did they even look at the email yet. The process was so easy & painless – it was great. I would highly recommend utilizing The Blk Tux for anyone looking to rent or buy a suit/tux for any special occasion.
