The Black Tux

e was a great selection of suits from which to choose. The suits arrived pressed and ready to go, which was great! One of the groomsmen has a difficult form to fit, and he was sent four suits to ensure that he had one that fit him. He reported to my husband and I that he had an excellent experience with customer service. This, however, was not the case with the Best Man. His suit did not arrive in the time frame that was given, and when he called to inquire about it, fingers were pointed at the post office. He and his wife spent the next week on the phone with both the post office and The Black Tux, with no resolution offered by The Black Tux. Why it was so easy to send four suits to one customer and not even more simple to send one extra suit to a customer who has not received a single suit is beyond me. A short few days before our wedding, the Best Man was forced to share the issue with my husband and I, which was not great news to hear, of course! He expressed that in his many dealings with customer service, he and his wife had been treated with impatience and borderline rudeness. This sharply contrasted with the other groomsmen's report, but the Best Man and his wife are just about the nicest people on earth, so we take their word for it. My husband sent an email detailing the many issues that had occurred and asked for a suit to be overnighted. The email was promptly and politely replied to, and a suit was overnighted and arrived in perfect condition. I sincerely hope that this incident was isolated, because otherwise I would have been raving from the rooftops about The Black Tux!

bad for me anyway. I couldn't have been happier with choosing the black tux, as soon as my tux came in because the length was perfect and the shoulders fit great. It was the first time I had a tux that looked right for me and not like I was a little kid in my dads clothes.

I could send pics. I wanted to keep my tux. It fit perfectly! Thia is usually so hard to do with my bold, military frame...my legs are tree trunks! It even came qith paid return packaging...and tape! The customer service person without hesitation was committed to return ship the items after receipt of the return shipment. my jacket sleeve length tailored the week of my wedding and Black Tux offered to reimburse me. On the Wednesday before my Friday wedding, one of my groomsman realized that he ordered completely the wrong sizes...we called customer service and they sent a completely new suit overnight. Everything fit great and the entire grooms party looked amazing. The process for creating an event and making it happen is so simple and alleviates a lot of the stress of worrying about your whole party. I will use The Black Tux again if I need to wear a suit and don't feel like buying.

shops, where they always somehow manage to screw up your order, measure you improperly, or give you the wrong size. The Black Tux was not only super easy to use, and dare I say, "idiot proof," but the customer service was great and the return procedure was very convenient. The quality of the shirts, tuxes and shoes were also very good and fairly priced. I didn't feel like my shirt was going to light on fire, since it was a thick, high-quality cotton shirt versus the flammable, polyester shirts that other rental shops give you. Also, when the customer service rep noticed an anomaly in my pant and jacket measurements (I have a wide waste and narrow shoulders...), he called me to offer a sizing suggestion and to confirm my sizes were indeed correct. Overall, the tux looked great on my buddy's big day, and I was extremely satisfied with my experience. I plan on using The Black Tux for my own wedding later this year.

I did request that a jacket and pants be sent to me before hand, since I was the groom in the wedding, but they fit perfectly. I was very confident with my suit for myself and the other 5 suits for the boys. They all fit great, and we honestly got so many compliments. I will definitely encourage my other bachelors to use this service for their weddings, and I will def rent tuxes from The Blktux the in the future. Can't recommend this business enough. Great experience!

I will definitely be using The Black Tux again in the near future. Prices are very affordable as well.

econd time was a groomsmen myself. My suit arrived a week early as expected. I immediately tried it on and the jacket was too big. I called customer support and after answering a few questions about why the jacket didn't fit a new one was on the way. Still, the new jacket didn't fit, it just needed to be let out by a tailor in the sleeves. No big deal. The best part is The Black Tux reimburses up to $15 on the tailoring so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the website and process is smooth and fairly painless if you follow the instructions to try on your stuff immediately and stay in communication with customer support.

to say, having the tuxes shipped directly to the groomsmen was PERFECT! Their customer service staff is incredibly helpful and very responsive. We had a few groomsmen with sizing issues and the team at The Black Tux was able to help reorder all of the pieces we needed and even ship them to an address in Charleston where we were staying for the week of the wedding. The tuxes were a great quality and looked as fantastic in pictures as they did in person. Overall awesome value, look, and service!

Some of my groomsmen were unsure at first, but they were all big fans by the end of the experience.
