The Blackburn Inn

Though my husband and I did not use the Blackburn Inn as a venue - we did use them for our hotel block for our wedding in Staunton. The Inn is absolutely adorable and we were so happy that we were able to give our guests the opportunity to see this historic site. The suites were cozy but spacious and very clean. The staff at the hotel was very responsive to us and we greatly appreciated the flexibility. The one thing I would note to future couples looking to do a hotel block, is to be mindful of the check in time for your guests. If you guests are arriving into town the same day as your wedding, make sure they have enough time to check in, get ready/freshen up then head to your wedding. The staff was very responsive to us in this matter - but we definitely ran into some frantic wedding guests worried they wouldn't have enough time to check in, get ready and then get to the wedding. Just make sure you are aware of that time before you sign the contract.
