Located in Bloomsburg, PA, The Blind Pig Kitchen is a catering company that creates unique, flavorful, and nutrient-dense dishes for weddings and other special occasions. Owned by husband-and-wife team Toby Diltz and Sarah Walzer, this eatery uses sustainably raised, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients that honor the ecosystems around them. Toby and Sarah only work with farms that put the well-being of their plants, animals, and workers first. They strive to provide the highest-quality food in the most safe, affordable, and ethical way possible. Toby and Sarah live on a six-acre farmstead where they grow vegetables, mushrooms, bees, laying hens, pastured poultry, and heritage breed hogs. They also utilize the woodland around them to harvest berries and have planted more than 100 fruit trees and berry bushes. They added a secret garden in 2018 and hosted their first al-fresco dinner underneath their pergola in 2019. For every wedding they cater, The Blind Pig Kitchen crafts custom menus that reflect the unique flavors of rural Pennsylvania. Along with catering, the restaurant also accommodates intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and farewell brunches in its dining room.
