The Blue Tips Rhythm Revue

I've been to 30+ weddings, including about 10 that I have played myself as part of the wedding band, so I think I am qualified when I say that the Blue Tips were easily the best wedding band I've ever seen. Plenty of bands phone it in - going through the motions and making it obvious that they're on a job. Not the Blue Tips - they stretched out their songs to add solos and other intricacies that were felt on the dance floor, and they were clearly having a good time playing together. They play as a unit, not as a bunch of interchangeable parts. Our wedding was full of musicians and music lovers - not the easiest crowd to please - and the band got uniformly rave reviews (again, it was obvious they were nailing it because everyone danced all night). On the logistics front, they were incredibly professional about coordinating from top to bottom - we didn't have a wedding planner and they made everything go smoothly, much moreso than I would have expected, including coordinating directly with the venue. They nailed the first dance songs we asked them to play and were in constant communication with us as the big day approached. Thanks to their professionalism and planning, there was not a single last-minute snafu or issue that I had to get pulled away from the reception to handle. Can't say enough great things about this band and would recommend to anyone, but especially someone with a discerning taste in music and live performance.

As with many couples, music was one of our most important choices for our wedding. We were given a lot of great recommendations from our planner and Sam Hill but the Blue Tips immediately stood out to us. We knew we wanted to make sure our guests were dancing all night and wanted a band that would do an amazing job with the oldies/Motown vibe we wanted. They were very easy to work with when choosing our special dance songs and did an amazing job with our first dance song that they learned for us. On our wedding day, the dance floor was filled the entire night. They got better and better during the night and the setlist was exactly what we’d imagined. We had very high expectations after watching their demo videos and they performed above and beyond what we imagined. If you’re looking for a band that will keep your guests dancing all night long, do not hesitate going with the Blue Tips!

My wife and I booked the Blue Tips Rhythm Revue for our wedding that was in October and we still hear about how great they were by people that came to the wedding. We cannot say enough good things about the band. They were sounded great, they were accommodating, they were engaging and even let my mother-in-law sing backing vocals for one of their songs. We are so thankful that we were able to have these guys play at our wedding and we will always remember how great they were. We highly recommend them for any occasion.

The band 100% made our reception! We only had about 90 people, but the dance floor was full for the entire four hours they played. We had guests coming up to us constantly throughout the night telling us how much they loved the band. They were extremely professional and made everything so easy for me leading up to and during the wedding day, which was a blessing as someone who was planning a long distance wedding without a coordinator/planner. They set up and broke down everything in a flash and brought all their own equipment, including lighting which was a nice touch that my venue was lacking. I am so happy with my decision to book the Blue Tips and could not be more impressed with everything they provided.
