The Bluff

Beautiful venue on the river for an affordable price. Owner was very courteous and flexible. Purchased the package that included a day of coordinator. Ended up discovering that the package didn’t include everything I needed. I purchased all of my own decorations and needed help setting up and breaking down so I ended up hiring a wedding planner to help. Since I ended up spending extra money on a wedding planner the owner agreed to serve as our bartender for a small additional fee. Husband of owner was super nice but kept coming into the ladies dressing area to check on us. Thought it was inappropriate and felt like we were not to be trusted. 5 minutes before the ceremony started we were told get all of our things out of the house. All of our belongings ended up sitting on the back porch until the end. We were told multiple times it was a misunderstanding and they apologized many time. It was an odd time to bring it up when we were about to walk down the aisle. Was told my wedding planner misunderstood instructions. Multiple ceremony sites available. Very convenient to have reception area so close. It’s very large with a great view, full kitchen for caterers, two bathrooms and a full bar. We had about 90 people and there was plenty of room for dancing, mingling, and walking space. So many different spots for pictures from inside to outside. All of my guests asked me how I found the venue and complemented on how beautiful it was. Overall it was a great venue and I would recommend it

You cannot go wrong with this venue. Not only is it gorgeous, but Melonie goes above and beyond to make your day special. I chose the all inclusive package where Melonie and her staff did the bulk of the work and they were beyond wonderful! Melonie communicates very well, is extremely generous with letting you use decorations that she has in storage, and truly cares about you. She even prays for every wedding. During the day she had everything completely under control! It was truly a stress free wedding. And even though our wedding was 50 degrees, it was the most perfect day! If I were to do it over again I would choose the same venue. If you’re trying to decide on a venue, just go take a visit so you can meet Melonie and see for yourself how beautiful it is!

Melonie did a great job throughout my wedding planning process and the venue was gorgeous. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how nicely it was decorated, and how well the event was planned. All of those compliments are due to Melonie's organization and beautiful venue. I feel as though we got a great value for the scenery, ambiance, the ample ceremony and reception space, and the areas for both bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready. If I were to do it all over again I wouldn't change anything about the venue or staff. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were VERY pleased as to how everything turned out for our Wedding! First, Melonie was very patient and understanding in letting us decide how we wanted things to be for our wedding. We hired her as the coordinator and this helped to create a stress free wedding day. Second, Her staff were very efficient in setting up the venue before the wedding and helping guests find their way. Third and final, the venue is beyond beautiful and helps to make the most of an already beautiful day!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

Melonie was always available to help us with any questions we had leading up to the wedding and provided us with excellent advice. The day of the wedding we were pampered and treated like royalty. Every detail was taken care of. As far as the property, you will not find a more beautiful, coastal venue. The natural beauty of the property captured in my daughter’s wedding pictures is priceless! The Bluff was a WONDERFUL experience for us. Everything was so easy and beautiful. We traveled from Memphis, TN to get married here and it was worth every minute!

There are not enough words to truly explain how beautiful this place really is. Full grooms and bridesmaids suites, plenty of space for guests and with all the possibilities for the ceremony to take place it could be arranged to fit any brides special day. Also would like to mention Melonie, the owner of the venue and how helping she was during the whole process. She was just starting her business when I first toured the property and to see her vision come to life is amazing. She has an eye for these things and also helped to coordinate my day! Her staff were all very helpful and professional as well. Perfect southern spot on the marsh, forever dreaming of my wedding day.

The Bluff is hands down the best wedding / reception venue in the Southeast, Georgia area. I can not say enough great things about our experience with them. Our Day was perfect and Ms. Melonie made things so easy for us and made sure everything was amazing! The view at The Bluff is absolutely gorgeous. The owners and staff here are so kind, they go above and beyond, and you can tell they really care about making your special day perfect. The Bluff is the perfect place for your wedding ceremony and reception. The view is beautiful and plenty of shade to keep you cool. Plenty of covered seating for everyone and an amazing staff. I highly recommend this place. We had an amazing reception.

Melanie and Chris were very easy to work with.From day 1 , they made sure our needs were met and helped this entire wedding planning process very easy.This venue was breathtaking. The Bluff venue is a gorgeous outdoor property with scenic north Florida/south Georgia waterway views, dotted with beautiful oak trees boasting southern charm. The open air reception area is perfect for a brides' wedding any time of the day, year, rain or shine. Melanie, the owner, is engaged and attentive to a couples' specific vision for the wedding day. She anticipates issues and provides solutions before the arise. I planned our wedding entirely out of town. I met with Melanie in person once and we coordinated exclusively from video/phone calls and email. With this challenge, her day of coordination skills helped our day run smoothly and go on without a single notable issue. It was a dream! She and her family are genuine and kind; truly enjoying providing a place for two people to be joined in love. I cannot heap enough praise upon them, their beautiful home/property, and organization of their venue! This is THE perfect place to get married.

The Bluff was the PERFECT place for us to have our special day. Chris and Melonie poured their heart and soul into this place and you can see it in every square inch of the home and property. From the ceremony site, to the open-air reception area, everything was beautiful and packed with Southern charm. We looked at many other venues and instantly fell in love with this place. It was super convenient for our guests to simply walk to the reception after the ceremony and proceed to dance to the night away. I could not have asked for (or found) a better location or better staff for our wedding day. Melonie was worth every penny and so much more to have her as my day-of coordinator! Chris and Melonie did everything in their power to alleviate any stress off of the bride (and groom) to make our day flow effortlessly - which it did! I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful outdoor venue then I highly recommend The Bluff, it was everything I wanted and more. My husband and I originally planned on having a very small ceremony with just our immediate family, but once we saw The Bluff, it made us want to celebrate with more family and friends. Chris and Melonie were wonderful, so easy to work with and couldn't have been more helpful. My day was perfect. I would choose this venue a million times.

My husband and I had originally only booked The Bluff for our reception because we were going to be married in our *tiny* little church, but as planning progressed and our guest list grew, we knew that our church would never hold all the people we wanted to share our big day. Perfectionist that I am, the thought of having to exclude people my husband and I love totally stressed me out. When I shared my plight with Melonie she told me to just let them handle everything for us. It was such a simple answer that I can't believe I let myself worry over it! With a few minor changes to the details (like which arbor do I like best and do I still want pew decoration now that we have chairs instead) my wedding was back on track to being the best day ever. From the time I arrived (and Melonie shooed me away from fiddling with the decorations and upstairs to the bride's suite with a "Today is supposed to be for you to relax and have fun. Let us worry about the details.") until the last gift was loaded in the car, everything went so smoothly I would swear it was a dream. And I can say with confidence that it's all because of Chris, Melonie, and their staff. They are a godsend! I recommend them to anyone who is planning to have an amazing wedding day because you definitely will if they've got anything to do with it! They make dream weddings come true!

Our wedding at The Bluff was far more than I ever dreamed of. Melonie and Chris made sure it went smooth and looked amazing the whole time. Melonie also acted as my Wedding Coordinator; She contacted all my vendors and coordinated with them when to come set up and take down, she made sure my ladies and I stayed on schedule and helped us with anything we needed, she was way beyond accommodating to me and my husband. Our wedding was November 3rd, which also happened to be one of the first very cold nights this year... Melonie and Chris noticed that some of the guests were starting to leave because it was so cold, and thankfully they had super handy heaters that they rolled out to keep all my guests warm! Melonie also reached out to me several times before the big day to check if we needed anything and to see if we had any questions or concerned. I 100% recommend The Bluff to anyone who is getting married, its a beautiful property and the Venue owners are amazing.

Our wedding at The Bluff far exceeded mine and my husband’s expectations for what the perfect wedding could be. Melonie and Chris were a dream to work with. Planning with them was smooth and effortless as they were accommodating, quick to respond and had a great lineup of recommended vendors in the area which is the best any bride could ask for. We truly hit the jackpot with this venue and especially the owners and staff; they care about their clients and the quality of the experience. The natural beauty of this secluded venue is breath taking with its expansive views of the Crooked River and the surrounding property. Thanks to the staff our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Our guests were in love with the venue as well! We are grateful for the impressive service we received and recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor venue.

When planning for our wedding my husband and I were looking for a venue on the water that also held a southern charm. When we saw the bluff we instantly fell in love. From our first tour through the end of our wedding, Chris and Melonie and the rest of the staff made our planning and wedding day more blissful than we could have dreamed. They were very kind, organized, and thoughtful when it came to coordinating the wedding and decorating for our special day. They went above and beyond in every aspect! We can't thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication. It was a dream come true and we highly recommend their venue and wedding planning services!

I had my wedding in May and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue. The wedding site overlooks crooked river and miles of open marsh and creeks. There are so many amazing blue herons, egrets, and pink spoonbills all around. The brides room was beautifully decorated and is upstairs in the main house overlooking the river. We had more than enough room which made it so relaxing and fun. Chris and Melonie were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make everything perfect and it was.

I had my wedding here on June 23, 2018! This venue is beautiful! The owners, Chris and Melonie, went so above and beyond and exceeded any and all expectations I could ever have. They truly turned my husband and I's day into something we will cherish for a life time! Melonie was by far the most competent, organized, professional, efficient and altogether lovely. She was always quick to follow-up on questions, thorough with her answers, understanding of restrictions and supportive throughout. Our wedding photographer was able to capture the most breath taking scenery wedding photos! We had a beautiful outside wedding under the provided Arbor (She had 3 to choose from and working on a 4th) They provided and set up all chairs and tables! They even had a oversized golf cart that transported our guest to the main venue site from the parking lot. You are in amazing hands if you go with Chris and Melonie at the Bluff Venue in Kingsland, GA!!!
