istina and Bridget are amazing. They were so flexible with our early start time and they powered through at least 10 women’s hair and makeup in just a few hours. My hair and makeup stayed all day and I’ve seriously never felt more beautiful. I recommend them to every one of my engaged friends and I will continue to do so. These two are so skilled at what they do and if I had to plan my wedding over again, I’d hire them every single time.

imeline, we ended up paying our venue extra to open a little early. We (myself and planner) communicated to the Blushing Room that the hair/makeup start time would be 9AM for that reason. This communication was essentially disregarded. Hair showed up approximately an hour to an hour and a half later than expected and makeup even later. When I explained this snafu over the phone that morning, I was told my email requesting they be there at 9 was not read and that it would be no issue getting everyone done in time…which was not my concern at all. So essentially we ended up paying for an extra hour at the venue for no reason, which caused unnecessary stress the day of. Again, everyone looked AMAZING so I’m thrilled about that, but would make sure you lay out your timeline expectations very clearly.

ally helped take some stress off of me as the bride by taking charge and telling the bridal party who should be where in terms of hair and makeup. My bridal party was allowed to tell her day-of what they wanted (they each were allowed to do whatever they wanted; whatever made THEM feel pretty) and both Christina and Bridget were able to go with the flow. Additionally, they got through all 8 of us (hair and makeup) so quickly and payment was made super easy with Venmo. For very reasonable prices, my hair and makeup looked amazing for the entire day/night. What I really remember is that updos in my fine hair tend to hurt after a while. I felt NO pain or sore scalp all night, so she is truly good at what she does. Lastly, I think The Blushing Room is unique in the way that they really stay true to how you look. There is a lot of makeup these days that is heavy contour and simply changes the appearance of people. I personally loved that Christina's makeup allows you to look crazy beautiful, but still look like YOU. I highly recommend her for bridal hair and makeup, but also for anything you may need to look fancy for.

They did hair and makeup on wedding day for myself, 6 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers, 1 flowergirl, and 1 Aunt - all of whom had different hair (thick / thin, long / short, curly / straight). Everything was on time (started at 9:30 AM and finished by 1 PM). All the girls looked beautiful and were very happy with the final product! I HIGHLY recommend using Christina!!
